And we're off again to Monday night... and the first Showdown of the year. Showdown Episode 91Angela Rothenberg vs. TitaniaSophia Moretti vs. Laenara Kintelas The Dynawasps vs. Les Beautes Blondes (Michelle/Revon)Kojiro Burai vs. Celine ChevalierAlexandria Kirison and Markos Andreas vs. Pure Gold (Kanjirin/Mallory)Kaelara Sentarl vs. Telan Kintelas The Lightning Cyclones vs. The Heyward SistersKyle Anderson vs. Besos for the Pacific Northwest ChampionshipEri Sentarl vs. Kellaron Sentarl
Angela Rothenberg makes her Showdown debut in the opener, in a clash of powerhouses that could set the stage for the near future. Titania threw her lot in with the Kintelas Family late last year, and now, she's on the hunt for bigger and better things with her new allies and new surroundings...
Two of the best pure talents in Phoenix Rising clash here, as the Italian Monster, Sophia Moretti, takes on none other than former World Champion Laenara Kintelas. The SFG has made overtures about making 2022 a far more successful year than the one before... and it could start right here.
The Dynawasps have drawn the ire of the Blondes as of late, and through no action of their own: rather, it's Proving Ground star Jessika Boom that's caught the attention of the group, having come up with back-to-back wins over Angel Leblanc and Celine Chevalier. Now, Angel's sent the duo of Michelle Rochefort and Revon Beauregard to challenge Jessika's idols... but what sinister plans are running through the mind of LBB's leader?
As for Celine? She's been sent after another familiar force... continuing the animosity between Pure Gold and LBB, she'll take on Kojiro Burai, who's looking to try and put together a winning streak and finally start realizing his potential on the Phoenix Rising roster. Celine, though, has been known to play spoiler...
It's a big night of opportunity for Pure Gold, with three matches... the second of which sees the stable leaders, Kanjirin Tonorian and Mallory Spaulding, taking on the Greek duo of Alexandria Kirison and Markos Andreas. The veteran experience that Alex carries might be enough... but Kanjirin and Mallory carry a frighteningly effective power offense as a team, and this will be a brutal match regardless.
Kaelara Sentarl isn't done taking the fight to the Kintelas family. With a win over Titania already under her belt, she's shooting up the ladder, with her eyes on facing Telan Kintelas. No doubt about it, she's serious about proving herself at the top level... and this could go a long way towards that.
This could be a defacto #1 contender's match for the tag titles held by the GOAT. Both the Cyclones and the Heywards have been red-hot lately... and even a loss to the near-legendary duo of Firehawk and Rilantha isn't likely to slow the Heywards' rise to the top of the division. But Layla and Relampaga have their eyes on tag team gold as well... this could be a show-stealer.
The Pacific Northwest Championship, of course, is on the line... Kyle Anderson the next to step up against new champion Besos, who won the title from Silver Hawk during the Big Impact Tournament. Will Kyle be looking for Pure Gold's redemption on the night? Or will he be seeking to secure a fully dominant night for the stable?
Closing out the night... could it be anything else? The Little Phoenix is back, and she's following up her victory over Shiana Sentarl at the Big Impact Tournament by continuing along... challenging her younger brother, and one-half of the Tag Team Champions, Kellaron Sentarl. With Eri's noted resistance to submitting to anyone, can Kellaron adapt and pull off the victory over his older sister? Or will the Little Phoenix continue to rise from the ashes of her defeat months ago?

Eri Sentarl"When I made my return at the Big Impact Tournament against my mother, it probably made a lot of sense to people. Both of us were out around the same time... both of us had to get back into shape and make our comeback. We got to talking. Got to bury everything that's happened over the last couple of years. You all know it by now, you've heard it, you understand.
I figure this one's a bit tougher to rationalize. Eri vs. Shiana... yeah, people expect that match any time, whether we're on the same page or not. Me against my brother, though? That's a bit trickier to explain. So let me at least try.
I have a plan in mind, before I start pushing myself back towards the top, shooting for the World Championship again. Reclaiming what I lost... even if I can never get back the months that were taken from me. What's the best way for me to know whether I'm capable of being at that level again? Squaring off with the people most familiar to me. The people I know best: my own family.
Don't take this as me putting them all in an order. That's not what this is about. Do I think Kellaron's better than mom, that Kaelara's better than either? No, not even close. Spoiler for the next match after Kel, by the way. Big surprise.
But this road was only ever going to end at one place. Against one person. I feel like I have to do it. Over the next few shows... I face my brother. My sister. And finally? My own father.
Because if I'm ever going to push myself to be the face of a generation, if I'm ever going to step up from being the 'Little Phoenix' and stand where he stood...
Then I have to give everything I've got. Right out of the starting gates. I'm not slowing down for a second. I'm back, dammit, and I'm going to fight my way to the top. I did it once. I'll do it again. And whoever it is that's waiting for me when I get there, whether it's Candace Monroe, whether it's a Kintelas, even if it's the Dragon herself...
I swear to you, I'm going to push you harder than you've ever been pushed before."

Top to bottom, one of the best Showdowns in recent memory. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/1291025125Youtube: youtu.be/tBb-kNuOCQgQuick Results Titania def. Angela Rothenberg Laenara Kintelas def. Sophia Moretti Les Beautes Blondes (Angel/Michelle/Revon) def. The Dynawasps + Jessika Boom Kojiro Burai def. Celine Chevalier Pure Gold def. Alexandria Kirison and Markos Andreas Telan Kintelas def. Kaelara Sentarl The Heyward Sisters def. The Lightning Cyclones Besos def. Kyle Anderson to retain the Pacific Northwest Championship Kellaron Sentarl def. Eri Sentarl Write-ups Angela Rothenberg's Showdown debut came to a screeching halt as Titania came roaring out of the gate, matching the German's power with ease and putting this one away after a pair of Titanic Bombs and a thunderous Axe Bomber to seal the deal. An absolute clinic from one of the greatest submission artists in Phoenix Rising, and one of its top pure talents in its history. Laenara Kintelas was pushed to the limit here, proving that the Italian Monster still has plenty of bite to her... but the Kintelas-style cutter sealed the win here, giving the former World Champion a major victory to kick off her year. Angel Leblanc accompanied her team to the ring, and had no intention of remaining on the sidelines... luckily for the Dynawasps, Jessika Boom was in the house, and joined them for the match. Still, the impromptu trios match still wound up going in the Blondes' favor. Kojiro Burai came straight out to wipe the floor with Celine Chevalier, never giving the young Frenchwoman a chance to get into the mix. This was a showcase of Kojiro's skills, landing a brutal running stomp that put Celine down for the count. An unbelievable war from start to finish that saw both teams pushing the time limit. This was absolute chaos that proved the Greek duo is more than capable of holding their own in the tag division... but Pure Gold hasn't come this far without being clutch, and Kanjirin Tonorian was 100% clutch in finishing the job in this match, landing a vicious spinning slam to score the win with less than a minute remaining. Telan Kintelas came to make a statement, roaring through the youngest of the Sentarl family and completing a full sweep on the night for the Kintelas Family. A dominant showing from the man who isn't always the standout talent. Is there anyone, short of the legendary Firehawk/Rilantha duo, that can stop the Heywards? It wasn't the Cyclones tonight, as the Heywards handled this in their usual fashion, with Anari landing a brutal powerbomb in the center of the ring for the win, and perhaps setting the Heywards up for a colossal showdown with the reigning champions... Heywards vs. the GOAT? We could see it soon. Never, ever underestimate Besos, especially when a championship is at stake. This was a tremendous showing from the Pacific Northwest Champion, holding out against Kyle Anderson's power, and bringing her full spread of lucha technique to bear in defense of the title. Kellaron Sentarl just joined a wildly elite club with this victory, though not to say that Eri rolled over and let him take the win. This was a ferocious match between brother and sister, with Kellaron seeking the nigh-impossible with a submission victory... but it wasn't impossible, as he pulled off what only a few people have done and forced the Little Phoenix to give in. Could Kellaron truly be coming into his own as a top-level name?

AFW rolls along tomorrow night, with a huge AFW Tag Team Championship defense slated for the main event. American Frontier Wrestling Episode 14 Helena Lundgren vs. Laura Tate
Riley Montgomery vs. Mason Hayes
Sung Moon vs. Vanessa Saunders
Hikari Ueno vs. Xiu Mei Li
The Foundation vs. Lexi Dawson and Nana Yoon
Georgia Eagles vs. Terra Marshall
Dominic Stanton vs. Ian Robinson
Jackson Shaw vs. Carmen Latour
Todd Colton and Natasha Clover vs. Nathan Haines and Ryan Donovan for the AFW Tag Team Championships A battle of powerhouses opens up the night, with Helena Lundgren facing a stiff challenge against the vicious Laura Tate. The Swede is looking to make an impact early in her AFW run, and if she can measure up to Tate, it'll be a huge step towards proving herself in her post-Academy career. Perhaps two of the most ferocious brawlers on the AFW roster, Riley Montgomery and Mason Hayes are quite simply going to rip into each other in this one. Mason's quietly been one of the more successful men in AFW, though it does seem like it's been off-and-on... but perhaps this is where he puts the pieces together. Or perhaps, Riley will finally live up to the massive potential we've seen from her in the past... While Sung Moon isn't known as a pure striker like Vanessa Saunders is, she's certainly no slouch in the realm of kicking, and she's certain to make this one interesting with her well-rounded attack. But Vanessa's repertoire is a devastating one, and she's looking to make a statement right here. With Anahera being held off for one show after the Rising Storm's defeat at New Year's Bash, Xiu Mei Li will take a match solo this time around, against the young Hikari Ueno. Hikari is eager to prove herself on a bigger stage: never having gotten a fair shake in Proving Ground, she could raise her stock tremendously in this one. AFW seemed a bit reluctant to pair these two teams off until now, perhaps wanting some distance from their Academy runs before considering it. But the time has come, seemingly: The Foundation taking on the Lexi/Nana duo, in what's certain to be a spectacular matchup between Academy graduate teams. The only Marshall that Georgia Eagles has yet to face... Terra's looking to make her mark by taking on the Wrestle Parade powerhouse. But make no mistake, the youngest of the family will be hard-pressed against the veteran, and we've seen Georgia score some of the most spectacular victories over the last few years. What is there to say about Dominic Stanton and Ian Robinson? Both men are standout talents on the AFW roster, tremendously successful and vying for a shot at the top. This and the following match may prove remarkably important for the near future, as it could help decide who's next in line for a shot at the Spirit of Texas Championship... and both of these men are riding a wave of momentum. Momentum, however, is also in favor of the Cajun Spitfire and the Nashville Predator. Carmen Latour and Jackson Shaw are also on a roll, and it could well prove that one of them takes their shot at the top... This one will be one to watch, as Carmen seeks to keep her hot streak going and climb the ladder. Closing out the night, it's one hell of a fight: the newly-arrived Todd Colton and Natasha Clover have already made their statement, plowing through their initial AFW matches, wiping out one-half of the Rising Storm, and easily earning a shot at the AFW Tag Team Championships... titles that have only ever been held by one team. Ryan and Nathan face their biggest challenge yet... do they have what it takes to weather this one? Todd Colton "I've been waiting for this for a long time. A year and a half ago, during the first Big Impact tournament... you and I first crossed paths. Your debut match, as I recall. A match you won, good for you! Then nobody saw you until September and the 50-state tournament... where you blew through Julian Shepard, then made your early exit. At the hands of little Kasey Ryder.
And see, you're walking around here touting that you've been this undefeated, unpinned beast in AFW for over a year now, and I figure you probably hate hearing about the matches you didn't win. Against Kasey, against Mason Hayes. The only two people in the world so far that have pinned you at any point. Not bad for a man who's only been around for that year and a half, yeah?
But those losses burn you up. You can't run away from them, because I won't let you. And I'm not gonna let you forget what happens on Thursday, either. That's the night that your AFW Tag Team Championship reign comes to an end. The night that the inaugural champions finally meet their match.
See, Natasha and I have been without gold for way, way too long. And those tag titles? They'd look real damn good around our waists, especially taking them off of yours. Don't you ever forget who you're up against: the best technician on the face of the planet, the man with a hitlist of arms a mile long, THE greatest talent ever to set foot in Phoenix Rising and AFW alike... not to mention the undisputed queen of strikers, the Devil Hand herself, Natasha Clover.
The first step's finally here. The night I take the so-called Carolina Reaper down a peg and take one of the things that's most precious to him... one of his AFW championships. And in case you thought you'd be safe after I took that off your hands... don't you worry, Ryan, I'm coming for the Spirit of Texas Championship before long, too, so I can embarrass you twice." Ryan Donovan "You wanna know how many people have come at me thinking they've got what it takes to knock me down? To take either of these titles from me? And now here comes the loudmouth from up north, thinking he's somehow better than every single other challenger that's come my way. You wanna get cute and talk about the two losses I've taken in my career to date? Sure, don't let me forget about 'em. You act like I want to. That's motivation, you arrogant jackass, motivation to kick your fuckin' head off. And you better pay real close attention, 'cause that's exactly what I'm gonna do in defense of these tag titles.
Thing is, you wanna know the real fun part? You're directing all this venom, all this bravado towards me because I know you don't give a shit about these tag titles. If you really cared about 'em, you'd take your shots at Nathan Haines, too... but here you are, barking at the Reaper alone. I know you're not a team player, no matter how much you wanna act like you are with your girlfriend there. The only thing you're after is glory for yourself. The only thing you care about is being at the top... alone. You want the Spirit of Texas? You wanna prove you're better than the rest of AFW, that coming over from the so-called 'big boys' at Phoenix Rising puts you on a pedestal above us? Then I'll tell you right now: you're in for a rude fucking awakening.
Thursday night, Nathan and I knock you out of contention and continue to be the first, the reigning, the ONLY AFW Tag Team Champions in history... and then, you can get your second crack at the Carolina Reaper, one-on-one. And the story will be the same.
Best technician in the world? Greatest talent ever in AFW?
Don't make me fucking laugh, Colton.
I'm going to send you crying back up to Seattle before you know it... because you are going to learn to fear the Reaper."

I'm running pretty badly behind right now (hell, I haven't done the write-ups and might not get to them at all...) but hey, I got a card for Proving Ground ready. Proving Ground Episode 92 Rei Hasegawa vs. Melody Bryant
Winter Fresh vs. La Familia
Nicole Blade vs. Tommy Thunder
HAYATO vs. Rafael Gallego
The Wright Stuff vs. Speed Dating
Donna Nobel vs. Nic Nitro
Keiko Maeda vs. Anna Bryant
The Pride of Scotland vs. The Evergreen Misfits for the Phoenix Rising Trios Championships
Harley Brooks vs. Sanya Markov for the Top Prospect Championship Melody Bryant has had a rough go of it since arriving in Proving Ground, and there may be no better way to try and turn it around than by challenging White Hot. Not to say that Rei Hasegawa is a pushover, but if Melody can't win here, there may be bigger problems in play than we realize.
Perennial fan favorites and wildly successful Winter Fresh step into the ring with a pair of familiar foes, as La Familia looks to right the path after a rough time over the past month or so. And with Winter Fresh looking to fight back towards the top of the tag team rankings, could they leapfrog the brothers and stand tall once again?
With the Trios Championships on the line this week, the Proving Ground Tag Team Championship match earned by Adrenaline Rush last episode will be put off one more show... but that doesn't mean the Blades won't clash with their challengers, starting off with the raw power of Nicole Blade squaring off with Tommy Thunder.
HAYATO and Rafael Gallego are two of Proving Ground's best talents that have yet to lay hands on the Top Prospect Championship... something that may wind up more of a wait than they'd like, given the current champion. But they'll butt heads here against each other, looking to push ahead and stake a claim on a future open challenge, as Sanya begins his path towards defending the title every show until someone can beat him...
Two teams that came up victorious last episode now clash to see who are the top dogs in the division behind the Excellent Blades... and it's going to be a tough test for the Wright Stuff, as they face down the absolutely electric Speed Dating, as Riccardo De Luca and Inspire Champion, Felice Santana, look to secure their place as the best there is.
The second half of the Blades/Rush conflict, Donna Nobel gets the spotlight against speed demon Nic Nitro. Technique meets agility, as these two aim to prove their style is best... and gain momentum heading into their championship match in two weeks.
Anna Bryant and Keiko Maeda both got their start in the Blackwood Academy... and while Anna was the superstar student and dominant champion for much of her time there, Keiko took considerably longer to find her footing. But now, it may very well be that the two can stand as equals... Keiko will certainly seek to prove as much right here.
The Trios Championships have made their way to Proving Ground once again, and this time, the Pride of Scotland have gotten the nod, looking to break the horrific run of bad luck that Leona Sterling has had over the past year. Faced with the challenge of taking down the Evergreen Misfits, do the Scots have what it takes to bring home the gold?
The first open challenge has been answered already... it's Harley Brooks that steps up, the man on probably the hottest streak on all of Proving Ground. Sanya Markov will be put to the test... is this open challenge truly a good idea for the powerhouse Russian? Or will it be over before it's hardly even begun?

guess who's running late surprise it's me Showdown Episode 92: An Unintended Presidents Day Special Titania vs. Michelle Rochefort
The Dynawasps vs. The Malevolent Triad (Selisha/Haruka)
Kojiro Burai vs. Revon Beauregard
The Black Dragon vs. Winifred Wright
Les Beautes Blondes (Angel/Celine) vs. The Lightning Cyclones
Ruthless Nicole Alger vs. Besos for the Pacific Northwest Championship
Eri Sentarl vs. Kaelara Sentarl
The Heyward Sisters vs. The GOAT for the Phoenix Rising Tag Team Championships
Logan Axelrod vs. Candace Monroe for the Phoenix Rising World Championship And boy do we have a show lined up... kicking off the night, Titania continues looking to make her mark on Showdown as a member of the Kintelas Family, while Les Beautes Blondes start their night with a major chance to gain momentum... Michelle Rochefort has been a lynchpin of the French stable, and is certain to press Titania in this opener. The slumping Dynawasps will look to get back on track against the Malevolent Triad... and this time, it seems likely that it'll be the match as listed, with Fenix Oscuro continuing to watch from the sidelines... by choice, mind you, not for any injury's sake. Still, expect her to be present for this one, which means Jessika Boom may still be involved this week. Kojiro Burai is starting to build his own momentum as of late, and he's got another major chance to step up as he takes the second LBB match of the night against Revon Beauregard. Revon's technique and understated ferocity will make this a tough matchup, but Kojiro's proven his own vicious streak in the ring... The Dragon has returned for more... and she's issued a stern challenge towards the matriarch of the Kintelas Family. Dragon's history with Kileas in particular is well-documented... but she's challenged Winifred Wright directly, potentially re-igniting an old rivalry dating back over twenty years. With Dragon perhaps seeking a war with the Family... will it be a one-woman crusade? Will the SFG join her? And what of any other parties willing to take up the fight against the Alpha Villain and his Family? Les Beautes Blondes close out their night with a third match, seeing Angel Leblanc and her personal knight, Celine Chevalier, squaring off with the Lightning Cyclones in a match that will test the ability of both sides. The Cyclones are nothing short of the most electric team in Phoenix Rising when at their best... but could the French duo ground them and come away victorious once more? The first championship match of the night... and it's sure to display some fireworks. Ruthless Nicole Alger is out for her own singles glory while teammate Candace Monroe rides high as World Champion... but can she overcome the immense talent of Besos? The reigning champion has proven, time and again, that she's easily part of the upper echelons of the Pacific Northwest division... and RNA will have to be at her best, even if she's unlikely to give in to Besos's usual charms... and armbars. Eri's fight against her own family comes to the youngest... Kaelara Sentarl is next in line, and after seeing her twin come away victorious last time out, could Kae be looking to equal her brother's feat? Make no mistake, the Little Phoenix won't take this match lightly... not wanting to see both of her siblings outdo her. The Heyward Sisters have been on a hot streak like no other as of late, and it's finally going to bear fruit this week, as they square off with perhaps the most dominant champions in Showdown's history short of the SFG. The GOAT are looking to cement their legacy at the top with a win here, but the Heywards could rise to an absolutely tremendous height if they can topple the champs... Finally, the winner of the Big Impact Tournament has his match... and Logan Axelrod shot for the stars. Rather than challenging KyO for the Evergreen Championship, he's opted to go for the top prize in the entire organization... and no doubt, believes he can knock off Candace Monroe. The size difference in this match alone will make this an uphill battle for the defending champion... can Candace overcome this test and ensure she's known as a fighting champion? Kaelara Sentarl"I've been thinking a lot about this match, from the moment Eri came back and expressed her goals, of what she wanted to do. She'd been talking about it for a while, honestly, even while she was still rehabbing her injury, what she wanted to do... so I've thought a lot about what's going to happen on Monday night, when the two of us cross paths on opposite sides of the ring... for the first time in a long, long time.
Both of us started out with something to prove. The Sentarl name puts a heavy burden on us... something to live up to with the careers our parents have had. And then knowing we're third-generation on top of that with our grandfather, Leander... The pressure's been there from day one. Eri's thrived in it. Kellaron was a champion practically right from the start, even if it took him a lot longer to truly find his footing and his calling.
Me? It took me a good while just to figure out if this was really what I wanted to do. When I first started out, I was... out of shape, nowhere near what a proper 'athlete' should've been. But I got a taste for it and whipped myself into shape... stepped up and went to war on behalf of Phoenix Rising, made a name for myself away from home.
Don't you ever forget this one simple fact: of the three of us, I was the first one to be a World Champion. I went through hell and back to win in AAW, I fought with every ounce of my being for my family name, for Phoenix Rising, for the sake of my own career. I went from being terrified of seriously hurting someone... to, well, I'll admit that's never really gone away. But I've become someone that will fight, that will bleed, that will drag myself through hell at any cost to do what I believe is right.
I guess what I'm trying to get across here is that... Eri's taking all of us on as a test of her own abilities. To see if she's really ready for this big return. I'd say after what we've seen in the first two matches, she doesn't need to worry.
But this is just as much of a test for myself. To show the world, my family... show Eri herself, that I'm not going to be left behind. I'm ready for anything. Monday night... you and me, Eri, we're going to tear the whole house down.
And I will give you everything I've got to make sure of it." Candace Monroe"Y'know, I'm almost starting to wonder... there's two possibilities goin' on. Either the people in charge of bookin' my title defenses want me to drop this belt as soon as possible... or they think I'm more than capable of droppin' anyone and everyone that comes for it, big or small, strong or fast, it doesn't matter.
Personally, I figure you better think it's the latter, because I'm startin' to make a habit of topplin' big bruiser-types lately... Kanjirin Tonorian... Jerome Harris... and now, defense number two, it's Logan Axelrod. Big lumberjack from Evergreen, I understand they signed him 'cause of sponsor deals. Not like he didn't earn his spot, though. Yeah, I keep an eye on Evergreen. Course I do.
See, one of the girls they got over there... Freya O'Malley. Giant-killer, they're callin' her. She's damn well earned it, hell, she earned that right from the start in that tournament. But she's not the only one around, not anymore. I'm looking to be a 'giant-killer' myself... so here's an idea, Freya. It's a bit too soon for me to be rolling down there this month... after the match with Logan on Monday, I think I'm gonna need a bit more than three days to get up and runnin' again.
But next month... March's Evergreen show. What d'you say, Freya, to me comin' over and we throw down? Evergreen-style... however you wanna do it. Doubt the powers that be will let me put the belt on the line, but... hell, you win there, maybe you come back over to our parts for the big one.
That is how confident I am that I'm gonna weather this fuckin' storm. That I'm gonna beat Logan Axelrod. Because when I do... I'm not gonna stop. I'm gonna be the champion that takes on anyone and everyone... the best of the best. No matter where they come from, what fed they call home... I'm gonna beat 'em all. I'm finally at the top... and I'm not letting go. Not this time."

El Verde may not be at the height of their success these days, but they're still one of Evergreen's premiere teams... and the Sheridans couldn't put this away no matter what they tried. Evergringo came up clutch with the Unbreakable Rollup, and El Verde got the win. Violence on the outside seemed to favor Sabrina, but Iris was downright vicious in the ring and outside of it as well, keeping things close and flattening Sabrina with a brutal STO to take the victory. This is about as good as most rookies could hope for. Rhiannon Banes held her own against Babe Ruthless for as long as she could, though eventually couldn't keep up with the brawler. Still, she didn't back down, and definitely kept this one interesting throughout. God help the Evergreen tag division, because Mercy Devine has found herself a protege... and it's Trinity Knight. Together, they made this match easily the most violent and bloody of the night, and Trinity would eventually get the win with a brutal dragon suplex, while Mercy brawled with Rebecca Andrews nearby, continuing to come after her long after the bell had rung to end the match. Kroll appears to have taken some form of offense to Freya's "Giant-Killer" moniker, not to mention still seething over their prior meeting that saw Freya come away with a dominant win. She evened the score here, making sure Freya doesn't get too comfortable ahead of her upcoming clash with World Champion Candace Monroe... Jennifer Hunter once again showed flashes of the spirit that won her the Evergreen Championship months ago, and we could be seeing signs of a return to form, as she was a wrecking ball against Ash Defiant, making this a vicious fight to the finish before putting Defiant down with her trademark flurry of punches. There may be no team around that's been on a hotter streak than the Big Boys, conquering Butterfloor, taking on all comers in Evergreen, and quite simply, tearing apart anyone that's unfortunate enough to be in their way. Not even reigning Trios Champions, the Evergreen Misfits, could get anything going here, and a camel clutch from Skidmark ended this one. A truly frighteningly motivated Veronika Armstrong showed up tonight... more motivated than even against Mercy Devine last month at New Year's Bash. This was a woman who would take nothing less than total victory, and she damn well got it, landing a crushing Spear to take the Evergreen Championship, reclaiming the title as the first-ever two-time Evergreen Champion... With that match having been such a sprint, one more got signed, and Ashton Crowe clashed with Eddy Introspect. What followed was a highlight reel of a match, probably the best of the night, and Eddy would score the victory in the end, perhaps a sign of things to come for eMo. Kroll"You know, Freya... I welcome you going after this little challenge with Candace next month, because it keeps you out of my way. I don't need to waste any further time on a self-proclaimed 'giant-killer', not anymore. I had intended to turn my attention towards this KyO... but wouldn't you know it, he's fallen short against Veronika Armstrong.
Veronika... I hear some say you're the 'heart and soul' of Evergreen. I have a nice idea for the near future... I challenge for the Evergreen Championship that you've just won, and I tear the heart out of Evergreen by destroying you.
There have been plenty of demons coming through Evergreen over the past few years. But only one devil.
And the Roaring Devil is coming for you, Armstrong."

Still running behind schedule honestly but here we go. Showdown Episode 93 Silver Hawk vs. Victor Kintelas
Haruka Matsura vs. Kojiro Burai
The Heyward Sisters vs. The SFG (Laenara/Urani)
Titania vs. Shiana Sentarl
Angel Leblanc vs. The Black Dragon
The Malevolent Triad vs. The Lightning Cyclones
Celine Chevalier vs. Ruthless Nicole Alger for the Pacific Northwest Championship
Eri Sentarl vs. Firehawk Sentarl, Two Out Of Three Falls Match How does one kick off a Showdown these days? Fire up a guaranteed banger from the Pacific Northwest division. God knows we're going to get gold out of this one, as Silver Hawk and Victor Kintelas are two of Showdown's top workhorses. Expect both sides to be flanked by a Sentarl, surprise. Kojiro Burai erupted to the top of the Pacific Northwest division rankings last episode with a win over Revon Beauregard... and that's painted a massive target on the Pure Gold star's back. Haruka Matsura is taking aim at that target, as she seeks another shot at the Pacific Northwest Championship... a title she is no stranger to holding. Despite the Heyward Sisters coming up short in their challenge for the tag titles, they're not backing down... indeed, they're gearing up to take another run, and they're not aiming low, either, seeking to challenge the SFG, this time consisting of Laenara Kintelas and Urani Whitemist. The Dragon, of course, will be... otherwise occupied, this show... Titania's issued a bold challenge this week: tired, perhaps, of sitting on the lower end of the card, she's demanded a match against one of Showdown's more notable names, and ultimately, called out Shiana Sentarl by name. We still have yet to truly see Shiana's true colors since her return, having only seen her against Eri a few weeks back... could she really have turned over a new leaf and abandoned her spiral into darkness? Angel Leblanc has chosen to take this match. Yes, this was not booked as a "punishment" or anything of the sort: the leader of Les Beautes Blondes has decided she's willing to step into the ring, one-on-one, with the longest-reigning World Champion in Phoenix Rising history, one of the most invincible stars on the Showdown roster. By choice. Two victorious teams out of last Showdown... simple enough to set the stage for a match between the two, perhaps looking towards a shot at the GOAT. The sharp-eyed among you will notice something about this match, though: the Triad will be running a different team than the duo that won last episode... Celine Chevalier has a major opportunity here, getting a shot at the Pacific Northwest Championship... unfortunately for the young knight, she's faced with perhaps one of the most frighteningly dangerous submission experts ever to hold the title. RNA made one thing abundantly clear when she won the title: anyone who dares try to take it from her is in for the fight of their life. The final stop on Eri's fight against her family. There's not much more to say about it... at least, not unless you're the Little Phoenix herself. Eri Sentarl"I want to make it clear, before we go into this thing: I absolutely asked for this. Two out of three. One fall just wouldn't be enough for me to figure out where I stand... and I'm sure dad agrees with that. This sort of thing used to be his specialty, years ago, though it's kind of fallen to the wayside in Phoenix Rising... but here's the deal. Here's why I wanted this.
I don't want to face 'my dad' in that ring. That's not the purpose here. With everyone else it was... with mom, with little brother Kel, with little sister Kae. Not that I wasn't pushing myself in those matches. Not that they weren't pushing me, testing me in their own ways. But the thing is, there's a reason I call myself the Little Phoenix, and it's because of my dad... because of Firehawk Sentarl.
I don't want to be given any sort of special treatment out in that ring when we go out there. I don't want to feel like I'm being handed something, like I'm being helped along. I'm not saying he'd do that... but I want the best you've got. I want The Phoenix, if that makes sense... the man that would go out there, winning World Championships, raising hell, being the hero to a generation... the man that, when I was growing up, I thought was the toughest, strongest person in the world. For all I knew, you really were. And I still believe you can be. That you still are.
I wanted this match as a pure test of my own abilities. Pushing myself to see just how far I can really go now that I'm back and active again. But... it's not just about me. Not this time.
I want the world to see what we haven't seen since Phoenix Rising's early days. I want to see you push yourself, just as much as I'm going to push myself. I want, just this once, to face that man... that World Champion, that unstoppable hero, the legendary phoenix.
Otherwise... how can I ever live up to this name?"

Wild show, very good stuff all around. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/1419046908Youtube: youtu.be/okmTNu7lHD0Quick Results Silver Hawk def. Victor Kintelas Kojiro Burai def. Haruka Matsura The Heyward Sisters def. The SFG Titania def. Shiana Sentarl The Black Dragon def. Angel Leblanc The Lightning Cyclones def. The Malevolent Triad Ruthless Nicole Alger def. Celine Chevalier to retain the Pacific Northwest Championship Eri Sentarl def. Firehawk Sentarl two falls to one Write-ups Expect nothing less from these two, who put on one hell of an opener. Silver Hawk, however, ultimately came out ahead against the reigning tag champ, and continues his hot streak, getting that much further up the Pacific Northwest Championship rankings. The Triad sent Haruka Matsura after Kojiro Burai, hoping to position Haruka as the next challenger for the Pacific Northwest Championship. Kojiro, however, would not be denied, sporting brand-new gear and tearing through the Triad's ninja with hardly any struggle. This was a vicious showing from Kojiro, and perhaps a sign of things to come... as he challenges RNA next Showdown. It seems like there's almost nobody that can stop the Heywards, short of the tag team champions. This was a reminder that despite losing to the GOAT, the Heywards have made a case for being the #2 team on the Showdown roster, and a win over the SFG is a tremendous victory for the sisters. Titania didn't even blink at this match. Faced with the Queen of Phoenix Rising, Titania simply went out and did what she always does... culminating in a colossal Titanic Bomb that wiped Shiana out and made a huge statement. Flanked by the rest of LBB, Angel Leblanc gave herself the best chance possible to take down the Dragon. And to her credit (and Elise Pichon's), she held in there for a good while... still, this seemed like an inevitable result, as the Dragon's brutal facelock once again carried her to victory. The Cyclones are riding high once again. Despite losing the TIPWF Trios Championships recently to the Santanas, they're still one of the top teams in Phoenix Rising, and Layla Al-Amin remains a top-level talent. The Triad simply fell short here, and the Lightning Cyclones may be facing the GOAT sooner rather than later. This was perhaps Celine Chevalier's best match to date. And although she failed to take home the title, there can be no doubt: Celine gave this everything she had in trying to bring down RNA, fighting off the Ruthless Armripper for as long as she possibly could before Alger finally locked it in... though Celine survived the first, she was forced to tap out to the second. RNA remains the champion. For the first time in a very long time, we caught a glimpse of the Firehawk Sentarl that was a nigh-unstoppable force in his prime. This first fall was a huge showing, proof, perhaps that Firehawk still has plenty left in him to fight at the highest level. Eri simply could not keep up and fell to a Phoenix Dive, putting her down one fall. The Little Phoenix, however, came roaring back in the second fall, and quickly turned the tide, scoring a huge pinfall with the Little Phoenix and equalizing the match to send it to the third fall. And what a third fall it was. Firehawk never quite reached the full force of his offense, but it was hard to do so when Eri was so relentless, landing the Little Phoenix five separate times before the fifth finally managed to put this one away and give Eri the huge win. Eri Sentarl"I have a lot to think about after this match. Like the fact that I'm still not entirely sure you went all-out. That you still held something back, after that first fall. Maybe you just didn't have the staying power for more than one, I don't know. But somehow I don't feel like I'm satisfied just yet. Not for myself, but for you.
Dad... I want you to stop holding yourself back. We're on the fifth year of this place being a full-time operation and you haven't even tried to go for the big one since Dragon held it, and that was a year and a half ago. Like you haven't earned it by now? Like you think you don't deserve it just because you're the one in charge, that you don't want to be seen as giving yourself a shot because you're Firehawk Sentarl?
I know, I won this match. By all rights, I deserve it a bit more, maybe. But I already made my decision even before I came back that I wanted to do the one thing I haven't done on Showdown yet: become a Phoenix Rising Tag Team Champion. I have a new partner ready to go. I have the motivation, we've got what it takes, we're going to the top even if I've gotta knock my own brother off the top.
Now you need to find your own motivation, and go after what you've earned. Because I know one thing's for sure... if you don't, someone else will. Someone you don't want taking that spot. And if it comes to that and you still won't fight for it... then I don't know what happens after that." Titania"Remind me: I said I wanted bigger names, better competition. So what do you give me? A washed-up old veteran so far past her prime still going around calling herself 'Queen'! Shiana Sentarl is not on my level, not now, not ever! Next Showdown, I'd better see some real competition out there, or I will find it. And when I do, it won't be a match, it'll be an all-out beating. You've got one more chance to make this right, so don't fuck it up.
