Evergreen makes its debut tonight. 7PM Pacific for this one, as there's nothing to overlap with at that time, as far as I'm aware. This'll be a fairly straight-shot of a show, no "pre-show", just what's listed on the card, so it's not likely to take very long to get through.

Evergreen's Debut Show (Or just call it Episode 1)The Sheridan Brothers vs. eMo (Sookie/Eddy) Kevin Royce vs. Kantar Penelope Lea vs. Ash Defiant Babe Ruthless vs. Laenara Kintelas El Evergringo vs. Eternamente Verde Veronika Armstrong vs. Mercy Devine Some strong outside influence for this card, to fill things out a bit. The show itself is likely to be on the short side since Evergreen's roster is, of course, fairly small. Laenara Kintelas makes a guest appearance, and likely will be making sporadic appearances for the company in the future as well.
The Sheridan Brothers have been hyped up as something big for Evergreen: hailing from Anaheim, California, they're the younger brothers of one Blake Dynamite. They'll have an interesting test here, however, as they'll be taking on the team of Strawberry Sookie and Eddy Introspect, and that's certain to be a rough one.
Kantar and Kevin Royce have both made their presences felt on Phoenix Rising, but now they turn to each other for what will likely be a brawl and a half. Two powerhouse set to collide in a vicious, violent war.
It's a battle of outsiders as Penelope Lea and Ash Defiant square off. To be perfectly honest, I know less about these two than most edits I book, but I'd keep an eye out for Ash's infamous Lucky Gray Shirt... if she's wearing it, Penelope may want to watch her step.
Laenara Kintelas arrives in Evergreen to take on Babe Ruthless... and it's likely that the self-proclaimed "Hardcore Princess" will be eager to finally begin living up to that name, looking to make a big impact on her first night with the company.
El Evergringo is... an odd character. For one thing, he's white as they come... although his name would imply that. He also seems to have some strange attraction towards the other masked member of Evergreen, Eternamente Verde. Verde, however, has shown no signs that she even likes Evergringo... perhaps he can impress her in this match.
Evergreen Champion Veronika Armstrong continues her vicious feud with Mercy Devine. Nothing else could main event their first official show... and Veronika seems more than determined to show Mercy just how much worse the beating can get when it's coming from a champion. Hmmm you left out a certain ultra violent federation....consider us slighted and there will be repercussions

Kevin Royce will have plenty to say after this show, I'm sure... lot of rumors that he's going to be giving a fairly big speech once the dust clears. But we'll have to wait and see on that.

Evergreen has made its official debut, and its first show gave us a glimpse of the future of extreme. While some might call this one tame, the action was no less intense top to bottom. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/342531826Youtube: youtu.be/keWHTJiXEF0Quick Results The Sheridan Brothers defeated eMo (Sookie and Eddy) Kantar defeated Kevin Royce Penelope Lea defeated Ash Defiant Babe Ruthless defeated Laenara Kintelas El Evergringo defeated Eternamente Verde Mercy Devine defeated Veronika Armstrong Write-ups Wild and chaotic, a suitable opener for the fed: run under tornado rules, it was difficult to follow this one with everything going wild, but the Sheridans seemed to have a gameplan in mind, focusing much of their offense on the smaller Sookie, until Vincent landed a Twist of Fate and scored the pinfall victory in a crazy one. You want hosses, you got them here, and both men gave no quarter. Royce seemed to be in command near the end of the match, but Kantar broke free of an Iron Claw, and snapped right back with a vicious chokeslam that seemed to come out of the blue, and gave the demon a much-needed victory: can he carry his momentum from here back to Phoenix Rising? Maybe one of the most intense matches of the night. Penelope and Ash both were eager for the fight to spill outside, and both grabbed a multitude of weapons, scoring a few solid blows... and even once the match returned to the ring, things never quieted down. Penelope, however, would come out ahead, laying Ash out with a sitting superkick, and overcoming the power of the Lucky Gray Shirt. Laenara gave this one a lot, but it's possible that the Hardcore Princess is a bit rusty when it comes to wrestling for a truly hardcore fed. Babe seemed to have her number for most of the match, and a big pendulum bomb would put the match to rest. It took until the fifth match of the night for there to be any blood (that didn't belong to hapless referee Kris Holt, anyway). But when Verde wanted it, she sure got it, stabbing into Evergringo on a few occasions until blood flowed from beneath his mask. Still, he didn't relent against the woman of his dreams... and a Destroyer gave him the win, which of course outs the man as not being a true luchador. (I mean, have you seen AAA? Nobody pins off Destroyers. C'mon.) We all know the pure hatred between these two: Mercy and Veronika have never gotten along, and Veronika even named her finisher to show it. But Mercy would not be denied tonight. Even after taking a Mercykiller onto a chair, she refused to give in, and while outside of the ring, delivered a series of brutal chairshots to the Evergreen Champion, leaving Veronika hurt and dazed... and then Mercy went for her fork, forcing Veronika to bleed badly, before slamming her to the mat with a high-speed lariat, and locking her in a Dragon Sleeper for the win. Veronika, for her part, never seemed to tap out... though it's unclear whether Kevin Royce (who was the referee for the final two matches) screwed her, or if she'd simply passed out once Mercy cinched in the sleeper. Either way, Mercy would stand tall over a seemingly-unconscious Veronika at the end of the night... and didn't hesitate to speak once it was all over. Mercy Devine "Been a while, huh? Forget what it feels like to step in this ring with me? You went over to Phoenix Rising and within weeks, you went SOFT. I went over there and not once, not at ANY POINT did I lose my edge... I'm still the same, sadistic, violent bitch I've always been, while you've forgotten what it means to be here in Evergreen. So you lay there in a pool of your own blood, you lay there after I choked you out, after I smashed your skull in with that twisted heap of metal that used to be a chair, and you start figuring shit out... you don't belong among people like me or Kevin anymore. You've lost your touch... and it won't be long before that Evergreen Championship of yours goes around the waist of someone who actually deserves it." Mercy leans down, tugs Veronika up by her hair. "Go home and think about tonight. Cause it's not gonna change. You step into this ring with me again and I won't stop at just making you bleed... I won't stop at choking you out. I'm gonna remind you what Devine Intervention feels like... and crack your skull right open in front of everyone." Kevin Royce After the show, after the cleanup, Kevin stands alone in the ring... still wearing his referee gear, though he removes the green-striped shirt before long. "You wanna hear what I've been thinking about all night. Tonight was a statement. A showcase of what Evergreen is going to be. What you're going to witness as we get bigger and badder. We're ALREADY the premier extreme wrestlers in the fucking country. And I'm hearing that a few people don't exactly like that I'm sayin' it.
So let me set the record straight. You wanna come at us? You want to make this into a thing? All right, listen up, then. There's two big feds I got my eye on that we're gonna surpass. The two big 'ultra-violence' feds around. PEWA does their thing... runnin' around with a half-freakshow, half-dumbass roster, answerin' to someone bigger and better than they are. I'm not afraid of the boys up in Philly, not one damn bit.
And as for AAW... 'Ultra-violence', I've been hearin' that all this time, and I know damn well they're claimin' they're the best at what they do. But you don't overlook Evergreen. And you sure as FUCK don't just go callin' us the new kids on the block. Mercy might hero-worship Josh Fuckin' Belmonte, but me? I see all of you for who you are. This has been my fuckin' lifeblood for twenty years. I got more history in this business than anyone passin' through AAW is ever gonna have. And I'm never, NEVER gonna quit doin' this until somethin' stops me.
We've made our mark. You've heard our statement. You wanna challenge us, you're welcome to... any day. Doesn't matter who you think you are... 'cause I've stood as my own man for twenty years, and no matter how good you think you are... you're looking at someone better." (please note that Kevin Royce's words do not represent anyone but himself and perhaps others in Evergreen.)

I don't think that anyone, even on the PEWA roster can disagree with Kevin Royce on that particular part...

He doesn't seem to listen.

All right. It's been a weird week, with Evergreen kind of consuming the first half of it, but Proving Ground is still happening on Monday... so it's about high time the card for that show is finally posted, hm? Pre-Show: Listalva Anne Heyward vs. Allison Avery
Pre-Show: Todd Colton vs. Kevin Royce
Pre-Show: Emma Travers vs. Jessika Boom
The Limbtakers vs. Pure Gold
Elly Blackwood vs. Kyle Anderson
Christina Wagner vs. Anna Bryant
Victor and Kellaron vs. The Excellent Blades
Anari Lynn Heyward vs. Vivian Forester
Mascara Avispa vs. Hugo Dirksen
Layla Al-Amin vs. Cassie Rose (C) for the Inspire Championship
Rey de la Carne vs. Silver Hawk (C) for the Top Prospect ChampionshipAllison Avery has slipped a little bit as of late, and she'll be looking to bounce back against Queen Anne herself. This match was originally planned to be with Eternamente Verde, but with Evergreen's show on Thursday, it was decided that they should probably take the week off from Phoenix Rising business... and the Heywards eagerly filled the empty spots, prepared to step up. Listalva in particular seems more than ready to get back to her old self, and a win over Allison would do a lot for that.
That said, Kevin Royce is the exception to the rule. He's opted not to take this show off, even after a wild brawl with Kantar on Thursday, and will take on Todd Colton as originally scheduled... but with Todd's stock steadily rising, win or lose, does the owner of Evergreen have what it takes to bring down the loudmouth?
Jessika Boom made her big debut last Proving Ground in a losing effort to Amber Wright, but looked good in the process, showing that she's got a lot of potential in the future. This week, she takes on another rookie in Emma Travers, who's been seemingly changing her gameplan as of late... it'll be interesting to see which rookie stands tall after this one.
Opening the main card, the Limbtakers get a shot at the tag team champions, with Pure Gold coming off of a rare loss... albeit to Showdown's undefeated tag champions, Rilantha and Firehawk. Candace and RNA, meanwhile, have never looked stronger than they did last show, and could finally have a shot at knocking Pure Gold off their pedestal...
Elly Blackwood was a woman on a mission last show, as she absolutely dismantled Todd Colton. Now she's taking on her Team Proving Ground teammate, Kyle Anderson, in what's sure to be a wild fight to the finish... does Kyle have what it takes to bring down the Invincible Elly, or will he find his arms hanging like limp noodles before the night is done?
A surprise on this week's card... another debut, this time for German-Canadian Christina Wagner. She's been described as a powerhouse wrapped up in a surprisingly small package... but she's set to take on Anna Bryant. Anna's been maybe one of the most consistent rookies in Phoenix Rising, but it's likely she'll have a tall order, taking on Christina here.
The Excellent Blades face a tough challenge this week, as Victor and Kellaron return home after a disappointing venture into PWR. The Blades will have to step up in a big way here, after their defeat against the Limbtakers, but with the two young rising stars still getting used to being a team, it could be the opening that the Blades need to pick up a much-needed win.
Anari Lynn Heyward has been a force every time she's stepped into a Proving Ground ring. There can't be any doubt about that. Vivian Forester, meanwhile, has been a surprisingly solid one herself, scoring a few surprising wins over tough competition. It's hard to tell how this one might go... but it'll certainly be a wild one to the finish.
Mascara Avispa continues to try and make his way back to the top of the card, but this week, he'll have to go through the dangerous Hugo Dirksen, who made his debut beyond impressive by wiping out Kevin Royce. Avispa will have to be wary of the Dutch suplex specialist... because this match could easily end in the same high-risk way as the last.
Cassie Rose, still under fire for rumors she insists aren't true, will have to do her best to ignore them this week. Layla Al-Amin seems primed to take her place at the top of the card, and the Egyptian hasn't been idle in recent weeks: absolutely ripping through Allison Avery last time out, she'll look to do the same to Cassie and claim the Inspire Championship for her own.
Silver Hawk makes his first defense of the Top Prospect Championship, and faces maybe the toughest test yet, taking on Rey de la Carne, who's already beaten him once. Silver Hawk, just days after his meeting with Blake Dynamite in ZIP Japan, will need to be at the top of his game... as he's facing maybe the toughest week of his career.

RNA Ruthless Nicole Alger: We have another chance now. And if you've paid attention, me and Candace haven't done too bad. We took care of business last time out. We put people on notice. We handled the Blades, and we didn't get cut. And now we got our match with Pure Gold. Kanjirin, Mallory, you're both really good. But you haven't grown like us. You don't tear people apart like Candace does. You don't rip arms out of the socket like I do. You didn't go through everything we did. We took everyone's best shot. We're not just still here. We're stronger every day. And now we're ready to take our shot at you. We lost matches, we fought each other...we're still here. And we're going to take you down. Come get some!
And concerning a few statements from Kevin Royce, PEWA President Biff Taylor sent this message to Evergreen: Biff Biff Taylor: Alright, dudes and dudettes from the green tree coast! You know who I am, and you know where I come from! Kevin Royce, this is addressing you, big man! Now, the Biffmeister is generally a cool cat, copacetic ninety nine percent of the time. But you know, I don't deal all that well with that one percent left over. I was havin' a good night, Thursday evening. Sat back, popped open a few cold ones, watchin' my fellow feds doin' their thing. An' you all know that I like me some good old fashioned hardcore carnage, so I figured Evergreen'd be a good time! And it was! That is, until my chill got busted up right quick after the show.
Biff: So I see that there's some post show chatter, and of course, here's Kevin Royce running his mouth. And he wants to say that he and his boys are tops in the game, and he's been around forever, and he's more violent than the Hell's Angels and more badass than Lemmy and so on and so on. Let me lay this on you, Kevin! The PEWA's been around since '99! We've been doing our thing for Philly for two solid decades, and we still got a lot of the originals keepin' it hardcore right here in the Halcyon Ballroom! We even got some rancid killers running wild around the world, exportin' the PEWA way, past Philly, spreadin' the legacy! So you say we're freakshows? We're dumbasses? Buddy, let me tell you a little secret...we wear those labels with pride! Nobody's as wacked out as the PEWA! Nobody's stupid enough to want to do what we do, night in and night out! That's what makes us as extreme, as bad to the bone as we are!
Biff: And don't think of screwin' around with our brothers up in Jersey, either. We know AAW. AAW an' us, we're two peas in a pod. They're so bad, they'd scare your shadow into hiding, Kevin! The Belmonte Boys ain't no joke, and neither's their crew! Don't get me wrong, we wanna kick their asses real good, next time we meet up, just like they did ours, last go around, but there's something there, something you ain't gettin' and it's called mutual respect! Learn it, or sign up for the school of hard knocks!
Biff: So yeah. You want a war, Kevin. You wanna sign the dotted line, make somthin' happen so you could look big time on our backs...I ain't got a problem with that. Wanna include the Jersey maniacs? The Blackrose Extreme? Anyone out there who has a chip on their shoulder and barbed wire wrapped around their arm? That sounds like my sort of party! But I'll just be waiting until you put your cards on the table, an' I'm not convinced yet that you're ready for that.
Biff: Want that war? Maybe your boys up in Phoenix Rising can talk to ours in the Senatorial Office...oh wait, forgot, we're the only ones who joined up with a bigger group...

The final title defenses before the big show on the 31st have been put on the books, but who will go into that year-end show with the titles in hand? Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/344416865Youtube: youtu.be/NpHsxYYSaZIQuick Results Listalva Anne Heyward def. Allison Avery Kevin Royce def. Todd Colton Jessika Boom def. Emma Travers The Limbtakers def. Pure Gold Kyle Anderson def. Elly Blackwood Anna Bryant def. Christina Wagner The Excellent Blades def. Victor and Kellaron Anari Lynn Heyward def. Vivian Forester Mascara Avispa def. Hugo Dirksen Layla Al-Amin def. Cassie Rose to become NEW Inspire Champion Rey de la Carne def. Silver Hawk to become NEW Top Prospect Write-ups Queen Anne seems to be back to her old self. This was a textbook Listalva match, with everything that her fans have come to expect... including the triumphant, stunning return of the Lip Lock, sealing the Queen's victory. It's almost as if Kevin Royce didn't feel any effects from his loss to Kantar on Thursday's Evergreen show. He absolutely dismantled Todd Colton in this one, culminating in one final Iron Claw Slam that seemed more than enough to put this one away. The disappointment of Jessika's debut has now been dispelled: the kid's in the wins column, after a wild one with Emma. Jessika would make her hero proud by finishing the job with the familiar Dynamite Cutter, and Jessika picks up her first win as a member of Phoenix Rising... and indeed, maybe her first professional win ever! The undisputed match of the night, and a strong candidate for Phoenix Rising match of the YEAR. Both teams were on top of their game tonight, throwing everything they could possibly muster at their opponents... Candace fighting to work over the knees of both powerhouses, Nicole doing her part to slow them down, and Mallory and Kanjirin simply throwing the smaller pair around almost at will... but Candace would -not- be denied tonight. It was the old standby, the Gotch-style Piledriver, that sealed the win for the Limbtakers... driving Mallory down in no man's land, in the Limbtakers' corner, and giving Kanjirin no chance to break it up, giving the Limbtakers the biggest win of their careers... and a date with destiny on the 31st. Team Proving Ground teammates, but tonight, on opposite sides. Elly gave this one her all, working her usual gameplan of trying to rip Kyle's arms out of their sockets... but Kyle seemed to have other plans, and would ultimately nearly take Elly's head off with a huge lariat to pick up a very impressive win. Another disappointing debut... perhaps it was nerves, but Christina never got out of the starting gates here, and Anna was able to run right through her as though she were her teacher. Christina might need the two-week layoff to figure out what went wrong. This was a chaotic one, and it showed just how dangerous the Excellent Blades can be as a unit. Nicole Blade was a powerhouse as always, and seemed to take great offense to Victor using her own finisher against her... kicking out of the Blade's Edge, she fired back moments later with one of her own, and picked up a big win to keep her team in the discussion for the division. Anari continues to keep pace with her sister, by mostly wiping the floor with Vivian here. She continues to look very impressive, and it's rumored that both Heyward sisters may be in discussion for a potential promotion to Showdown. Hugo kept pace with Avispa for as long as he could, but the luchador's blistering pace proved too much in the end. Avispa gets himself back on track with a much-needed win, and Hugo looked strong in defeat anyway, holding his own with one of Proving Ground's best. Whether Cassie's head wasn't in this match, or Layla was just that good, this match belonged to the Egyptian. Layla's had a hell of a week, picking up a win on the Pan-African show over the weekend, and now, she stands as the Inspire Champion. Cassie had a few things to say after this one. Silver Hawk ran into a brick wall, here, it felt. Rey was just too much, overpowering the now-former champion, and claiming the Top Prospect title for himself, cementing his new position on Proving Ground in a big way. No doubts here, he'll be a tough one to beat. Cassie Rose "I've been lettin' people get in my head too damn much lately. It shouldn't matter what people are sayin'... the moment ya' know it ain't true, you just gotta block it out. But I haven't been doin' that. I've let it fester inside me, and where's that gotten me? Beaten, losin' my title, and people still questionin' me. That's gonna end real damn soon, ya' better be listenin' to that.
I'm done bein' Cassie Rose. I wanted t' stand on my own, and I proved I could. But it's about damn time I took up my proper name again. Call me Cassie if ya' like, still... but Cassandra Marshall's comin' home, and I ain't lettin' this loss go unanswered. I'll be lookin' to earn my way to a rematch, Layla, you best believe that." Pure Gold "Two fucking weeks in a row!" Mallory slams a fist into a nearby locker... she looks positively livid, after her defeat tonight. "Where the fuck have you-"
"Mallory." Kanjirin's voice cuts her off, firm but not angry. "You've been trying to do a lot of this on your own, you know. Doesn't matter how good you are, two-on-one doesn't work. You know that. I got my part in, but you gotta start trusting me more out there, or we're gonna lose everything we've worked for."
"Dammit, I know!" Mallory slams the lockers a second time. "Losing to that fucking Aussie midget-"
"Easy, babe. Don't say anything you're gonna regret later, all right?" Kanjirin puts a hand on her shoulder. "C'mon. We'll look over what happened tonight another time, but right now you and I are gonna go find ourselves something else to focus on. You've been way too worked up lately and you need a break." Candace Monroe "We got another shot at the top. We've made it this far, we've proven that we can make it... all we gotta do is finish the job when the time comes. The Limbtakers are ready to take this thing all the way. To become the champions we were always meant to be. We're really gonna go all the way this time... no stumbling right at the end. We beat Pure Gold once... and we're gonna do it again, even if I gotta pop someone's knee to do it."

The champions going in to the show on the 31st have been decided. Some of the challengers have also found their place for that major show as well, and Phoenix Rising can now confirm the name of that year-end show: New Year's Bash. But first, Showdown, episode 23 will determine who the #1 Contender for the Women's Championship will be: now held by new champion Xiu Mei Li after a stunning victory over Alexandria Kirison. Pre-Show: Angel Leblanc vs. Natasha Clover (Tryout match for Natasha)
Pre-Show: Kantar vs. Lance Marshall
Pre-Show: Eri Sentarl vs. Shiana Sentarl
Rachel White vs. Besos
Blake Dynamite vs. The Phantom Thief
Sophia Moretti vs. Mercy Devine
Urani Whitemist vs. Binak Tonorian
Rilantha De Nav vs. Winifred Wright
Firehawk Sentarl vs. Kileas Kintelas
Fenix Oscuro vs. Kaelara Sentarl vs. Anahera (#1 Contender's Match for the Women's Championship)
Tasharun vs. Telan Kintelas
In a surprising move, Natasha Clover's first match back from her suspension will be on the main roster: Phoenix Rising has decided that over the next few episodes of Showdown, stars from Proving Ground will be given opportunities to prove themselves, and management will be watching to see if they're ready to move up. Strangely, Natasha is the first to be given this chance, and she'll be taking on Angel Leblanc, looking to knock off the Frenchwoman... but how long will her teammates sit by and watch Angel struggle on her own? Kantar was successful in Evergreen last Thursday, though he now returns to Showdown to face perhaps one of the toughest tests of his short time as a member of Phoenix Rising. Lance Marshall is looking to bounce back from a rough patch, and he'll certainly bring everything he's got to bear against the hardcore demon. Eri and Shiana haven't fared well as of late. It's been a struggle for both women, and to regain some semblance of focus, they'll square off against each other for the first time in months. Last time this occurred, it was only the second show in Phoenix Rising's history... that's right, it's been over a YEAR since mother and daughter faced one another (unless I'm very much forgetting something in that timespan!) and Eri fell short in that challenge, so long ago. A lot has changed since then: can the Little Phoenix finally pull off the win she's looking for this time? Rachel White stepped up in a big way last week, tearing Angel Leblanc apart in surprisingly vicious fashion. Now she turns her attention to Besos... will we see more of the same mean streak Rachel displayed before, or will it be a return to her previous losing ways? A familiar matchup, to be sure: Blake Dynamite set to take on the Phantom Thief, who hasn't been seen much as of late. There's a few rumors circulating about where he's been, but he won't confirm any of them... for the time being, all we know is that he's back to take on his old rival, and we'll soon find out how he handles the newly promoted Blake. Sophia Moretti hasn't had the best stretch, losing in the qualifier for the upcoming Queen of Roses tournament to the eventual winner, Fenix Oscuro. This week, she'll be trying to figure out how to get back on track and take down the wild Mercy Devine, who is riding high after defeating her hated rival on last week's Evergreen show. Urani Whitemist seems determined to bring down every single threat in her way: and the giant, Binak Tonorian, seems to qualify as that as well. It's the Titan and the Giant this week, a match that's certain to shake the foundations of Phoenix Rising, no matter who comes out on top. Taking a break from tag action this week, Rilantha De Nav and Firehawk Sentarl each take on a half of the challengers for their tag team championship. Ril, of course, takes on Winifred, in a meeting of the veterans that has already happened in the Queen of Roses qualifier: Winifred won that meeting and eventually made it to the semifinal before losing to Veronika Armstrong. Meanwhile, Firehawk and Kileas meet once again, writing yet another chapter in their seemingly-eternal rivalry. Three women meet to determine who will be the first challenger for Xiu Mei Li, who won the Women's Championship in impressive fashion last week. Fenix Oscuro has been nothing short of dominant in nearly every match she's been in as of late, with only one blemish on her singles record: Kaelara Sentarl. Kae, for her part, has been on an absolutely magnificent run as well, maybe the single most dangerous woman in the entire division at this point... but she's fallen short of her goal of winning the championship more than once so far. Finally, Anahera continues to be a force no matter where she goes, and she'll look to renew her dominant image here... and set herself up with her tag team partner, to fight over a prize that the Maori Warrior has coveted for some time, now. Telan Kintelas has slowly undergone a major change these past few weeks... he's gotten bigger, he's gotten louder, and he's definitely gotten stronger. But all of this may not be enough for the challenge he's issued to the Demon... does he really have what it takes to bring down Tasharun? And if so, could Telan Kintelas be the man that challenges the Black Dragon at the final show of 2018? Natasha Clover "Surprised? You really shouldn't be. This match is proof that the people in charge realized just how important I really am to this company. That when you miss out on having the Devil Hand around, everyone suffers for it. So now they finally get it through their heads that I deserve to be at the top. That I should be running with the best of the best, not lagging behind with the so-called 'rising stars'. I'm not a 'rising star', I'm already the biggest superstar that the Phoenix Rising women's division is ever gonna know. And prissy little Angel is gonna get a taste of what I bring to the show. It's funny, y'know... they try and punish me every time they think I did something wrong, until they realize I'm always right, they don't know what the hell they're doing, and dammit, I should be getting ALL the opportunities... so just you wait. 2019 is going to be my year. I'll become Women's Champion. I'll crush anyone and everyone that gets in my way. And I will prove to you, and everyone else, that I am without a doubt the greatest star in ALL of Phoenix Rising." Oscuro, Kaelara, and Anahera The three challengers for the Women's Championship were all gathered together to speak their minds... though Oscuro seemed to keep her distance from the other two, watching them closely. Anahera was the first to speak. "This is the chance we've all been after. The opportunity to be the one that challenges for the greatest prize. And mark my words... no matter what I think of either of you, I don't intend to be anything less than the last woman standing. And I don't intend to be anything less than the champion, when this year comes to a close. No matter who holds it... no matter how close I am with Xiu Mei, I will not accept defeat for any reason. The two of you won't block my path."
"With all due respect, Anahera..." Kae speaks next, the Maori turning to look at her... Oscuro seeming to bore a hole through Kae with her own gaze. "I'm not going to back down either. I've given it all I've got, every week, every match, for months now... I've come this close too many times to turn away now. I'll be the one that goes on. I'm not going to falter right here at the end."
"Both of you have no idea what you're up against." Oscuro rises to her feet... this draws the other two women to stand as well, tension in the air. "What do you think is really going to happen when we go out there? There's no one in this division, no one in this company, that has been able to stop me-"
"Except for me, Oscuro. You've tried to go through my family, you've tried to destroy my sister, my mother, and I'm not going to stand for what you've done. I'll do to you what I did last time we met... you'll go down, no matter what I have to do to get there." Kaelara steps forward, face-to-face with the Dark Phoenix... only for Anahera to put a hand on her shoulder and gently pull her away.
"We have all made our case... Oscuro, you understand that you'll have a target on your back from the moment that bell rings... and we will ensure that you don't walk out of that match the winner."
"We'll see." Oscuro gives a mocking laugh. <I'll leave the both of you broken and beaten at the end of the night. Accept your demise and go quietly.> With that final statement, Oscuro takes her leave... Anahera merely looks puzzled, but doesn't ask Kae for clarification... as the young woman's fists are clenched tightly, the normally-calm Kae looking tense and seething with rage. Telan Kintelas "Here's the deal. You wanna see where this all leads? You want to see just how much all of this pays off? You watch me crush that Demon son of a bitch, you watch me issue JUDGMENT on him, you watch me pick up the biggest win anyone's ever SEEN! Tasharun isn't ready for what I got, and you better believe I'm not gonna stop until he's down and OUT!"

This might've been one of the best shows in recent memory. Everything was solid, and I'm beyond impressed by that fact. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/347574556Youtube: youtu.be/-46FtAxnOo8Quick Results Angel Leblanc def. Natasha Clover Cowboy Johnston def. Kantar (Cowboy replaced Lance due to emergency situation) Eri Sentarl def. Shiana Sentarl Rachel White def. Besos The Phantom Thief def. Blake Dynamite Mercy Devine def. Sophia Moretti Urani Whitemist def. Binak Tonorian Rilantha De Nav def. Winifred Wright Firehawk Sentarl def. Kileas Kintelas Kaelara Sentarl def. Anahera and Fenix Oscuro to become #1 contender for the Women's Championship Tasharun def. Telan Kintelas Write-ups A wildly impressive showing from the Devil Hand, although it ended in defeat as Angel found her second wind late in the match and made a roaring comeback. Still, this felt like a good showing for Natasha, who is now strongly under consideration for promotion: an official decision is expected to be reached soon. Lance Marshall was apparently unable to make this show, having to call out on short notice (He'd mentioned something about being needed back home in Houston, and it couldn't wait), so Cowboy Johnston filled in... and he certainly put Kantar through his paces. However, to the demon's credit, he held up brilliantly against the man that was the Office #1 for months on end, and while he wouldn't come away with a win, Kantar would certainly show that he has what it takes to be a threat in Phoenix Rising. Things seemed fairly normal in this match, for most of it. Eri and Shiana traded shots, giving each other everything they had... but as things spilled outside, Eri did something nobody would've expected, and grabbed a chair from under the ring, even leveling her mother with a vicious shot at one point en route to picking up the victory. What came over the Little Phoenix tonight? Does she have an explanation for this? Tonight, Rachel's more vicious streak seemed to have gone away. But her winning ways didn't. She brought the fight to Besos, even powering through a BESOS late match, and although it took some doing, a Moonstomp put this one away and gave Rachel a legitimate winning streak. Has she finally turned the corner? The Phantom Thief is back in action, and there can be no doubt he made a statement tonight. Blake gave him everything he had, short of the Lotation itself, but the Thief held back the Change of Heart in turn... settling for catching Blake from behind, rolling him into a submission, and eventually forcing the tapout in his return to Showdown. After all, Blake never saw it coming. Sophia was fighting an uphill battle in this one. Mercy was relentless, dipping into her bag of dirty tricks from the bell, and eventually would bust the Italian wide open with her signature fork... which she'd keep going back to, in order to spill even more blood. Sophia, for her part, fought valiantly... but the blood loss, coupled with Mercy's vicious modified Tombstone, would leave her down and out, and Mercy cackling all the way to the back while Sophia was tended to. There was no doubt here: this one shook the foundation of the company, and Urani made the biggest statement yet. The two titans were absolutely relentless, Binak showing more fire perhaps than we've seen from him in some time, while Urani simply refused to give in, showing her own power and eventually crushing Binak with an Ushi-goroshi, and picking up a hard-fought victory, reminding everyone that she was World Champion for good reason. Having met in the qualifier for the Queen of Roses, Ril was seeking to avenge her loss in the first round to Winifred... and she did exactly that, enduring the onslaught of the veteran powerhouse, snapping her up in one of her signature flash pins, and setting the stage for the other half of their separated tag team showdown. This was a night of triumph. Firehawk wins a singles match, for once, while sporting Seahawks colors: after all, it was gameday, and the team had already won! The champions continue to build their momentum, looking almost unbeatable going into the end of the year... can anyone topple them? Three women entered, but only one would stand alone as the one to challenge Xiu Mei: and in this case, it was Kaelara Sentarl, who's seen her stock rise exponentially these past few months. Anahera would knock Oscuro senseless with a series of vicious elbows, eliminating the villainess in violent fashion, but it wasn't long before Kae showed the instincts of a veteran, catching the Maori warrior off guard by rolling her up tight, and coming away with the victory... and a huge opportunity to become Women's Champion in just a few weeks. Telan went into this outgunned, outmatched... and it only got worse from there when Tasharun opened a nasty cut that sent blood pouring down his face. And yet, Telan refused to die. He gave this one his all, fought until he couldn't anymore, and while Tasharun would ultimately land a nasty chokeslam to end it, Telan made him work every step of the way... Eri Sentarl "I already know what everyone's going to ask. You deserve an answer after what happened out there. So let me set things straight. You can decide for yourself how much you believe me for this.
I don't really know if I felt like I was losing that match... but we spilled outside, and I felt something inside of me. All of the frustration, the bitterness, the anger I've been keeping inside of me these past few weeks just... boiled over. I forgot where I was. I forgot who I was facing, I saw...
... I didn't really come to my senses until I heard the bell ring. It took me a moment to realize just what I did. That I'd won the match, sure, but what had I done to get to that point? I didn't prove anything, I let... her get into my head again, I let her continue to get under my skin, to haunt me.
Oscuro... I'm done letting you screw with my head. You and I are going to square off again, and it's gonna happen at the last show of the year. I'm going to throw you out of my head once and for all, I'm going to beat you. Because if I can't...
... if I can't beat you...
... then I'll leave my fate in your hands. No matter what it means. No matter what I have to do. Because if I can't beat you this time... then I have no more hope left." Kaelara Sentarl "I'm not the same person I was when I made my debut over a year ago. I'm not the scared young woman that rolled over and gave up when I was presented with a challenge. I'm not the same person who felt her voice shaking while challenging the God of Death, and I'm not even the same person who fought, who bled, who gave nearly everything just for a chance to face him.
Tonight I showed the world who I've become over this past year. That I'm ready to take the next step. That I'm ready to face any challenge, take any opportunity presented to me.
I'm going to enter 2019 as the Women's Champion. I'm going to take down Xiu Mei Li, I'm going to claim that title, and I'm going to show the world that Kaelara Sentarl isn't just the 'new generation'... I've arrived, as my own person, and I'm ready to show the world what that means."

Ah dunno if yah get tougher the more ah hit yah, but that wasn't some walk in the park! That there was one hell of a match, an' that's the stuff ah live for!
