Evergreen's back, and tonight's show definitely kept things going strong into the new year. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/892297846Youtube: youtu.be/0RhjrUKPmcQQuick Results Julian Shepard def. Iris Coleman Mercy Devine def. Penelope Lea Logan Axelrod def. KyO The Big Boys def. Crimson Romance Sabrina def. Veronika Armstrong Freya O'Malley def. Jennifer Hunter Kantar def. Andrea Hawke Tasharun def. Argent The Sheridan Brothers def. Oakland's Most Metal Riley Montgomery def. Ash Defiant Write-ups A big, much-needed win for Julian as he kicks off the new year with a major success. Could he be working his way back into form with this one? Perhaps the most violent matchup of the night, which is not unexpected when Mercy's in the ring. Penelope definitely didn't hold anything back, but Mercy was at maybe her most psychotic tonight, even if the move she finished with wasn't exactly in line with the rest of the match. A quick rana out of the corner, and Mercy got herself a major victory over one of eMo's toughest. KyO is not to be counted out lightly. Yes, Logan Axelrod had a size and strength advantage (and a big one), but KyO didn't simply hand Logan a victory... this was a fight to the finish, only ended when Logan landed a Widowmaker, having been made to work hard for the victory in the end. A wild tornado match (aren't they all?) that seemed to be shifting in Crimson Romance's direction... at least until something, nobody's entirely sure what, stopped Chasity in her tracks. She stayed put for the rest of the match, and Luci couldn't hold up against the heavyweights in the end on her own. If Mercy's match wasn't the most violent of the night, this one absolutely was. These two came after each other with a seeming hatred that feels typically reserved for Veronika vs. Mercy... but Sabrina just kept coming back, shrugging off Mercykillers, firing back with everything she had until they slid into the ring, where she landed a sharp Cutter... and rolled quickly into a Camel Clutch before Veronika could recover, getting a stunning upset victory. Freya O'Malley is a warrior, through and through. This was maybe one of the most fiercely competitive matches she's had since arriving in Evergreen, and she had to work hard to keep Jennifer Hunter down, weathering a storm of offense that included her brutal Stealth Viper submission. Freya's own Batten Kill Tigerdriver would seal the deal, and Freya left with some definite respect for her opponent at the end of the night. Seemingly a foregone conclusion right from the bell. Kantar was dominant throughout, with only a brief moment of fire shown from Hawke... which was promptly snuffed out when Kantar returned to offense, and stood tall with relative ease. Evergreen might be in trouble if this is Tasharun now. Have we witnessed the full return of the dominant demon from three years ago? Can anyone stand in his way? Argent certainly couldn't do it here, and with Kevin Royce still on the shelf after last month's attack... Another shocking victory for the Sheridan brothers, as they seem to have finally begun to click in Evergreen. Their sights are set now on the current tag team champions... Victoria Fox and Kelly Wolfe will be waiting eagerly for their challenge next month, with Kelly already seen as one of the most dangerous women in the fed after nearly breaking Evergringo's arm at New Year's Bash. Riley Montgomery is supposed to be AFW-exclusive... but she just keeps showing up at Evergreen, and Mercy keeps enabling her and giving her post-show matches. Still, it seems like next month may very well be the last time Riley shows up in the PNW, as Mercy's finally poised to grant her the match she wants... a brawl with Freya O'Malley, a rematch from the preliminaries of the 50-state tournament last year.

Showdown's on its way this upcoming Monday... and there's a whole lot to get through. Rachel White vs. Celine Chevalier
Markos Andreas vs. Victor Kintelas The Muscle Machines vs. Firehawk Sentarl and Kileas Kintelas
Listalva Anne Heyward vs. Todd Colton
Kaelara Sentarl vs. Angel Leblanc
The Limbtakers vs. Pure Gold Anari Lynn Heyward vs. Kyle Anderson
Michelle Rochefort vs. Telan Kintelas for the Pacific Northwest Championship The Malevolent Triad vs. Eri Sentarl and ???Rachel White starts off the show, as Les Beautes Blondes once again seek to fight their way up the ranks of their respective divisions. Celine Chevalier is out to push herself higher in the Pacific Northwest division... and with Rachel's less than sterling record, there's a strong chance Celine has a statement victory on the way here.
Victor Kintelas has clearly begun his quest to hold gold on Showdown in earnest, now that he's no longer Top Prospect, though it's hard to tell whether he's primarily focused on getting the tag titles alongside Kellaron, or focusing on claiming the Pacific Northwest Championship first. Either way, Markos Andreas may have his work cut out for him in this one, with some definite sparks about to fly here.
The Muscle Machines probably weren't expecting to get a match like this so soon, but here we are... it would appear that they're getting a crack at the Firehawk/Kileas duo, and that's simply bad news for anyone on any given night. Gear and AAA could prove a lot in this one if they can hold their own, but Firehawk and Kileas are coming back with something to prove after a stunning upset at the hands of LBB...
Todd Colton is back on the warpath, and he's got his sights set on trying to push his way through Eri's entire alliance... starting with Queen Anne. Todd's already got a long history of standing up against the Sentarl family, and with Eri holding the World Championship he desires so badly, he seems more than ready to come after anyone and everyone that stands in the way of that goal.
Meanwhile, Kaelara Sentarl steps into the ring with Angel Leblanc, as Les Beautes Blondes seem determined to get something over the Sentarl-Heyward alliance. As clear as it seemed that Eri had beaten them once and for all, Angel seems reluctant to admit defeat... but Kae could shut everything down right here if she can win this one.
Just three days after Candace Monroe steps into the UCSS ring to face off with Andronicus Turner, seeking the Openweight Championship, she'll return home to Phoenix Rising alongside long-time partner RNA to take on a team that she hasn't faced off with for a very long time. The last time the Limbtakers met Pure Gold was well before the dominant duo left Proving Ground for Showdown... but both teams have come a very, very long way since then, and Candace intends to prove it. The question is, will she be in any condition for this match? And if not, what will end up happening?
Anari Lynn Heyward and Kyle Anderson are both very much in the hunt for the Pacific Northwest Championship... Anari having held it on multiple occasions already. But Kyle's been a heavily motivated man as of late, and he could make a major impact with a victory here... still, with Anari's history, that's easier said than done.
Telan Kintelas seeks to continue defending the Pacific Northwest Championship, a title that over the past year has been very, very difficult for anyone to hang onto for more than one defense. Michelle Rochefort's goal here will be to take down the champion and bring gold back to Les Beautes Blondes... but does she have what it takes to stop a man that's looked so dominant over his past few matches?
Finally, we reach the main event... as the full force of the Malevolent Triad comes out for the first time in quite a while. Oscuro, Haruka and Selisha all have their sights firmly set on Eri Sentarl, who's already stated that she's got a team assembled for this match... and, as the card would suggest, it doesn't include any of her usual allies in the Heywards, or even the rest of her family. Who has Eri chosen to stand at her side for this match? Who is the Oscuro that we've seen these past few months, if not the real one? And if this Oscuro isn't the real one... then who is?

An absolutely wild night culminating in a crazy main event... this one was a good one. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/897719275Youtube: youtu.be/OQXJqIxdSj0Quick Results Celine Chevalier def. Rachel White Victor Kintelas def. Markos Andreas Firehawk Sentarl and Kileas Kintelas def. The Muscle Machines Todd Colton def. Listalva Anne Heyward Angel Leblanc def. Kaelara Sentarl Pure Gold def. The Limbtakers Anari Lynn Heyward def. Kyle Anderson Telan Kintelas def. Michelle Rochefort to retain the Pacific Northwest Championship Eri Sentarl and the Gallego Twins def. The Malevolent Triad Write-ups A reasonably strong performance from Rachel here, but Celine was just that much better, eventually landing a vicious Lightning Spiral to put this one to rest and starting off LBB's night with a victory... and not the only one, either. Pure, absolute dominance from Victor Kintelas. Now that he's no longer Top Prospect, his focus seems squarely on Showdown... and perhaps taking home a championship from the bigger show. The Pacific Northwest Championship could easily be in his future at this rate... The Machines held out fairly well in this one, all things considered. But against a team that was still looking to bounce back from their loss to LBB, and re-establish themselves as the premier names on Showdown, the ending seemed inevitable... with a perfectly-placed Phoenix Dive sealing the victory. Todd's mean streak definitely came out tonight, a sharp knee drop busting Listalva wide open... and Todd would continue to land them throughout the match, eventually hitting an Exploder suplex to put Queen Anne away, and cement himself as a front-runner to challenge for the World Championship. A match that looked like it was well in hand for Kaelara quickly turned sour when Angel simply refused to quit, and steadily turned the tide, eventually snapping off a Tiger Neck Chancery, and scoring a hard-fought win to bring LBB to 2-0 on the night. War, pure and simple... two teams that had not met in well over a year finally clashed once again in new surroundings, and the result was nothing short of pure, absolute chaos. Pure Gold had nearly every submission scouted in this one, preventing the Limbtakers from sealing the win... but it took one last big suplex from Mallory in the midst of a chaotic brawl to bring this one to an end. The time limit had technically expired, but nobody dared get in the way of this match... Anari Lynn Heyward wouldn't let her alliance end the night without a win. She stepped into the ring with Kyle Anderson, and amazingly, was absolutely dominant throughout, a brutal brawl on the outside giving her even more of an edge before she'd simply deliver a crushing splash in the ring to finish the match. Michelle Rochefort put up an incredible fight here, trying to push for an amazing comeback against Telan Kintelas... seizing the opportunity over a gassed-out champion and very nearly getting the victory. But Telan kicked out, revitalized by a second wind, and delivered a snap powerbomb that brought the match to a quick end right after, successfully making his second defense of the Pacific Northwest Championship. It was none other than the Gallego Twins who came out as Eri's allies for the night, and the decision seemed to be a wise one. The trio was electric against the Malevolent Triad, with highlights coming from all angles... Eri's Phoenix Splash nearly scored her another huge victory, and a late spot between Oscuro and Gabriela raised some eyebrows when they traded Backstabbers... and the exact same taunt. But it would be Rafael that'd get the job done in the end, locking in a Scorpion Deathlock on Selisha, and taking home the victory. Eri Sentarl... and her partners "You have a lot of questions. I can already hear them being asked, coming from all directions. Why the Gallegos? What happened out there? Did we really see what we thought we saw?" Eri stands with the Gallego twins still nearby, just behind her on either side. "You can already see why I picked the Gallegos. Because we won out there. Because I knew we would. And of course I could've done the same with Kae, or Lis, or Anari, or even Kellaron. But there's a reason I chose these two beyond that. And I think it's time that they laid their cards on the table."
Gabriela was the first to step forward. Eri took her place in the back, and as Gabriela stared into the camera, much of her black paint having been wiped away in the course of the match, she speaks calmly, quietly. "As you know by now, my name is Gabriela Gallego. You first saw me last April, on a seemingly throw-away show run by one Andrea Hawke... back then, I believe the fans referred to us on that night as the 'Mexican Jaguars'. Not a terrible name, even if we've come to embrace more than just that blue-and-gold color scheme since then. But 'Jaguar' isn't exactly the most accurate description of us. April 1, 2020 was the debut of the Gallego Twins... but it was not our debut, exactly. Both Rafael and myself had been in Phoenix Rising before that night... but not exactly as you see us now. Rafael... tell your half first. I think it'll be easier for people to stomach."
Rafael stepped forward now, and let out a breath. "As you know, I made my first appearance as Rafael Gallego the same night as Gabriela. April 1, 2020. But I'd already had a match on Phoenix Rising... Proving Ground, specifically... on March 23. Just one week before. It was the last time I appeared under that mask... the mask of Pajaro de Fuego." He stared into the camera, and there appeared to be a fire practically burning behind his eyes. "For that entire length of time... from the very first appearance I made, to the last... I was Pajaro de Fuego. I was the man beneath that mask right from the start. Many believed it was Firehawk Sentarl himself that wore it, perhaps they saw certain... mannerisms in me that they felt 'tipped them off'. But it was me, it always was... and, like with everything, there's a very good reason for that."
He stepped back and let Gabriela take center-stage again. "Rafael was Pajaro de Fuego... and, maybe now the gears in your head are turning, wondering who I was. But the clues are there. You should know very well by now. Because Eri gave them to you two weeks ago. The Fenix Oscuro you've seen ever since I made my first appearance, on April 1... has been a fraud. Someone masquerading as Fenix Oscuro... my mask. And you need look no further for your first piece of evidence that the fraud had already taken the identity of Oscuro, barely a month after I'd discarded it..." Gabriela leaned forward, her voice dropping to a low growl. "Her first match under that mask was a loss. To Rachel White. Tell me now... do you think I'd ever allow that? And then a loss to Les Beautes Blondes as well... two months after her first appearance. She would not record a win until August... against that very same Rachel White. And that was when the change became... noticeable. She'd tried to disguise herself until then... but finally, her appearance on that night, it's simple to see. Gone is the jet-black hair, replaced with that brown you still see today. For the past six months she has continued to masquerade poorly as Oscuro, and two weeks ago she was finally exposed for the fake she is, by Eri Sentarl."
Gabriela once again deferred... and Eri stepped forward to speak once more. "I suspected it from the beginning. By appearances, by the way she moved, by the way she failed to beat Rachel when it first happened... at first I thought she was just having a bad night. But then she appeared less and less... and when she finally resurfaced, I couldn't deny what I was seeing. That wasn't Oscuro. Wasn't Gabriela under the mask. Because I know her better than anyone. We didn't fight and suffer all that time for me to mistake that for her." Eri adjusted herself, shifting her weight before continuing. "Around the time it happened last year, both of us seemed to come to a realization. That what we'd fought over... that all we'd been at each others' throats for, ever since she arrived... there was no more reason for it. She understood it. One night in March, the last time she wrestled as Oscuro, she finally came to me and... we put everything out there."
Gabriela stepped forward, but Eri didn't step back this time. "My memory of those days in Mexico was... flawed. Yes, Eri was arrogant, but in a way she'd earned a little bit of it... but never once had she sought to hold anyone back or try to injure them. My own jealousy had been hanging over me all this time, seeing things that weren't there."
"I didn't want to admit that you were getting close. And you were, absolutely. I didn't go out there meaning to injure you, I went out there trying to show you up... and I screwed up instead. Stupid, reckless..." Eri shook her head.
"But nothing more than an accident." Gabriela gave a firm nod. "We've had the full conversation already. That'll do enough for everyone else. But there's one last detail that needs to be mentioned. Two, perhaps. But we'll start... with where the two of us come from." Eri stepped back... Rafael came forward, side-by-side with his twin. "We are Gabriela and Rafael Gallego, from Monterrey, Mexico. Our mother... Maria Gallego, who has done her best to support us by herself for our entire lives... and for that, we've always been thankful. Though she has not done it entirely alone... as our father has supported her from a distance."
"And for that, we're also extremely thankful." Rafael nodded, taking a deep breath. "He didn't know who we were when we first signed with Phoenix Rising. We did that deliberately. We wanted to make our own way, first... stand as our own people, before we ever dreamed of talking about this publicly. He knew, of course, after we both unmasked... and now, it's time everyone knew the truth as well. But I suppose if you've been paying attention so far... then once again, the clues are right there, right in front of you."
"Pajaro de Fuego. Fenix Oscuro. Both of us adopted the very same motif of our father. Thomas Andrew Grey... Firehawk Sentarl." Gabriela glanced over her shoulder to Eri. "I always knew who he was... but nothing had been said of it to everyone else in the family. We went over it around that time... it helped that he met our mother before meeting Shiana." She smirked slightly, then shook her head. "But... that, I think, takes care of our entire story. Who we are. Where we came from. The only thing left... is where we're headed.
"'Oscuro'. I know exactly who you are under that mask. Being in the ring with you, much like with Eri, confirmed everything I suspected. Part of that very same class in Mexico, a tag-along who was capable, but wanted far too badly to be me. So now you've fulfilled that wish of yours. My future, alongside Rafael, is to continue fighting for the Proving Ground Tag Team Championships. But before my focus returns to that, I have one more thing to accomplish in a Showdown ring. In two weeks... you and I will meet, one-on-one. And you will not bring the rest of the Triad... MY Triad, that you've seen fit to steal from under me. I will show you just how far you've yet to go. How long the path in front of you stretches out.
"This 'fraud' of an Oscuro is about to meet the real thing. And I will not hesitate to crush you under my heel. I will not wear the mask again... but make no mistake, for one final night... the true Fenix Oscuro will live again. One... final... time."

Got some contender matches coming up for Monday, and plenty of other action besides. Rey de la Carne vs. Rafael Gallego
Angela Rothenberg vs. Calista Vargas
Chico Con Carne vs. Riccardo De Luca vs. HAYATO vs. Nick MacLeod, #1 contender match for the Top Prospect Championship
Anahera vs. Arthur Wright
La Corsaria vs. Felice Santana
The Yoshida Twins vs. Winter Fresh
Xiu Mei Li vs. Amber Wright
Donna Nobel vs. Leona Sterling
Mercedes Ortega vs. Titania vs. Nicole Blade vs. Jessika Boom, #1 contender match for the Inspire Championship Kicking off the night, with Gabriela Gallego preparing for a match next Showdown against Fenix Oscuro, Rafael will fly solo this week, in what's almost guaranteed to be a fantastic lucha face-off with Rey de la Carne. This could be a highlight of the night, opening things up strong.
Angela Rothenberg steps into the ring with someone much, much faster on her feet than she is... Calista Vargas will absolutely be tested by the German powerhouse here, but we've seen that Calista is more than up to any challenge put in front of her. While she may not be in the contender match later on the card, she's got a strong chance to push herself back up the card with a win here.
The first 4-way contender's match of the night sees four of the top talents on Proving Ground looking to be the first challenger for Sanya Markov's Top Prospect Championship. Riccardo De Luca, after an absolutely roaring start to his Proving Ground career, looks for an early opportunity to make an impact... but HAYATO, Chico and MacLeod will be out for the very same chance.
The Rising Storm is still preparing for a tag title match with the Wright Stuff... and with that primed for episode 73, the Storm will simply trade off opponents from last episode, putting Anahera in the ring with Arthur this week. Both Arthur and Anahera won their respective matches against Xiu Mei Li and Amber, so this one may be the most important barometer of how well the tag match might go...
More intense speed and agility on display here, as La Corsaria returns to singles action against Felice Santana. Felice, on her own this week as Riccardo seeks a Top Prospect Championship opportunity, will have a chance to push herself up the ranks once again if she can stop the Scottish luchadora.
The sole tag match on the card this week sees the Yoshida Twins aiming to stay in the hunt for the tag titles after falling short against the Rising Storm... but to do that, they've got to square off with fan favorites Winter Fresh. There's no doubt that this is going to be one of the more intense matches of the night, with Fresh Suzuki and Rin Ryusaki almost guaranteed to make this one hell of a fight.
Both Xiu Mei Li and Amber Wright are looking to pick up a win that they failed to get last time around, but only one can get it... could the Rising Storm cement their claim to the tag titles, or are the Wright Stuff prepared for the most decorated team in Phoenix Rising history?
It's all about technique here, as Donna Nobel, flying solo thanks to Nicole Blade's presence in the main event, squares off with Leona Sterling. Sterling's had a rough time of it lately, but she could very easily see the beginnings of a run here if she can topple Nobel...
Finally, the other 4-way contender's match will be for the Inspire contender spot... these four women looking to be Anna Bryant's first challenger. It's a strong mixture of quick, agile wrestlers and absolute powerhouses... Mercedes Ortega and Jessika Boom representing the former, and Titania and Nicole Blade for the latter. All four have seen some success as of late, but only one can rise up to be the challenger...

Not much to say besides this one being pretty wild. We have our contenders and three title matches set up in two weeks. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/906926439Youtube: youtu.be/nQY90pcj5ZkQuick Results Rafael Gallego def. Rey de la Carne Calista Vargas def. Angela Rothenberg Chico Con Carne won the 4-way to become #1 contender for the Top Prospect Championship Arthur Wright def. Anahera Felice Santana def. La Corsaria Winter Fresh def. The Yoshida Twins Amber Wright def. Xiu Mei Li Donna Nobel def. Leona Sterling Jessika Boom won the 4-way to become #1 contender for the Inspire Championship Write-ups Rafael seemed well in control of this one, coming out strong over Rey de la Carne in his first match since revealing the secret that had been kept quiet for so long. The former Pajaro de Fuego has definitely become a far greater talent unmasked than he ever seemed to beneath it. Calista was on the back foot for most of this match, with Angela Rothenberg setting the pace to her liking and keeping Calista grounded, and forcing her to fight the match her way. But Calista finally did start to get a spark of momentum... and the moment she found her opening, she landed the Stormbreaker, and put Angela down with authority, giving the Brazilian a huge comeback victory. Chico Con Carne may not be a tag team champion anymore, but he's got a shot to regain some gold after this one. He was easily the biggest force in this match, eliminating HAYATO first before Nick MacLeod took out Riccardo De Luca with a torture rack... and promptly fell into Chico's clutches with the same pin that had caught HAYATO. Chico gets another incredible win, and now, he's set to clash with Sanya Markov in two weeks... Arthur and Anahera cycled through most of their typical arsenal for this one, with both Wright family trademark moves coming out: the hard right hand, and the Triangle Scorpion, which would eventually get the win, against Anahera's spinning tombstone and Katahajime hold. But both held back their biggest bombs... perhaps saving them for the big title clash in two weeks... Corsaria just couldn't quite keep up. Felice Santana was electric, turning up the pace later in the match and eventually catching Corsaria in a quick rana pin to score the victory, and perhaps trying to make a case for her own shot at the Inspire Championship before long. Winter Fresh continue to excel in the tag division, with Fresh Suzuki as quick and talented as ever. Timing was everything... with Naoko on her way back to her corner by referee's orders, Fresh landed a quick poison rana that she quickly transitioned into a pin, and Winter Fresh would come away with another victory. These two did not hold anything back like their partners did... with Xiu determined to force the STF finish, but Amber refusing to give in, landing everything she had to try and keep Xiu down. It'd be her biggest move, though, the rolling Stunner, that would seal the victory and the sweep for the night... and the Wrights are looking strong ahead of their title defense. Leona tried her best to keep up the pressure on Donna Nobel, but Donna was on fire throughout the whole match, crushing Leona with everything she had... it'd take three of them, but the Bitter End would seal a win for Donna, and once again leaving Leona trying to figure out where to go next. This was a deadlock for a solid 20 minutes... until the first domino fell. A crushing Spear from Nicole Blade nearly folded Mercedes Ortega in half, eliminating her from the match... Nicole herself was quickly taken out in short order not long after that after Jessika laid her out with a kick, kept Titania down with a moonsault and scored the pin over her... and a Dynamite Cutter would bring down Titania, giving Jessika the biggest opportunity of her young career. But can she stand up to Anna Bryant?

AFW coming up this Thursday, with a bit of a different look to the card from what we've gotten used to... with the apparent goal of getting together a proper tag division for the fledgling fed, and perhaps crowning the first champions next month. Riley Montgomery vs. Allison Avery
Diosa Syringa and Emma Travers vs. Ian Robinson and Jackson Shaw
Manny Ramos vs. Mason Hayes
Maya Minh Sai vs. Carmen Latour
Wanted: DOA vs. Dominic Stanton and Laura Tate
Johnny Rocket vs. Sung Moon
Lance Marshall vs. Georgia Eagles
Cassandra and Terra Marshall vs. Ryan Donovan and Nathan HainesKicking off the night, it's likely to be one hell of a brawl with two of the toughest women in all of AFW. Riley Montgomery's found some trouble in her home fed as of late, and Allison Avery has yet to pull down a win here in AFW... one of them is sure to get back on track here, and try to start working back up the ranks.
The first tag match of the night will see Emma and Syringa clashing with two major powerhouses in Ian Robinson and Jackson Shaw. Rumors have flown around about the potential for Academy Champion Kasey Ryder to eventually earn a spot in AFW, and she may join these two when she arrives... but for now, the Academy stalwarts are going to have a serious challenge going up against these two.
Manny Ramos is a man that's carried a serious chip on his shoulder from the moment he arrived in AFW. Still seeking to rise up and challenge Lance Marshall for the Spirit of Texas Championship, he's still got a fair bit to prove... and against Mason Hayes, it's almost certain to be a war as the vicious high-flyer clashes with one of AFW's biggest men.
Maya Minh Sai's attempt at toppling the boss came well short of her goal... but make no mistake, she's still one of AFW's top talents, and Carmen Latour will have to be at her absolute best if she wants to come away with the win here over the technician. Maya's proven herself against some of the best... but Carmen's definitely no slouch in the ring.
Tag match #2 on the night sees the most well-established duo of Wanted: DOA taking on the brand-new team of Dominic Stanton and Laura Tate. This will be Laura's official AFW debut, as she was only on the outside last month for Dominic's match... this time, she's properly in the ring, and Wanted: DOA will have their work cut out for them.
The apparent #1 contender, if nothing else stands in the way, has to be Johnny Rocket. The iconic high-flyer has been easily one of AFW's best from day one, only missing out on the first shot at Lance because Maya Minh Sai came out ahead in the New Year's Bash 3-way... but Rocket's still undefeated in an AFW ring, and Sung Moon may not have what it takes to topple him.
This match and the previous might be the only way that Rocket doesn't face Lance next month. Georgia Eagles hasn't quite hit her stride in AFW yet, but we know well enough what she's capable of... the question is, can she take down the champion and earn her way into a shot for the Spirit of Texas Championship?
Closing out the night, one final tag match... and likely, the one that Lance will be watching the closest. Cassandra and Terra have probably been the top team in AFW so far, with Cassandra herself currently holding an undefeated record in AFW... but Ryan Donovan and Nathan Haines are looking to change that in their first match as a team.
It seems clear that Lance's plan for the tag division might be the very same as his previous plans: whoever's the most impressive gets the opportunities. With three tag matches on the card, it's a near-guarantee that the two winners that are the most impressive in the process will square off for the inaugural championships next month...

AFW once again lives up to its reputation with plenty of intense brawling and wild action, as usual. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/910757206Youtube: youtu.be/P0NdDtT7IJUQuick Results Allison Avery def. Riley Montgomery Ian Robinson and Jackson Shaw def. Emma Travers and Diosa Syringa Mason Hayes def. Manny Ramos Maya Minh Sai def. Carmen Latour Dominic Stanton and Laura Tate def. Wanted: DOA Johnny Rocket def. Sung Moon Lance Marshall def. Georgia Eagles Ryan Donovan and Nathan Haines def. The Marshall Sisters Ian Robinson and Jackson Shaw def. Dominic Stanton and Laura Tate Write-ups Allison Avery was on an absolute tear in this match, and although Riley Montgomery fought to match her pace, the Lariat Queen of Little Rock would not be denied, dumping Riley on her head a couple of times before crushing her with a huge diving stomp to seal the victory. The first tag match of the night saw the new duo of Ian Robinson and Jackson Shaw get off to a bit of a rocky start... with Emma and Syringa easily the more established team. But as the match went on, the newer team started to hit their stride, and Jackson would eventually wipe out Syringa with a vicious powerbomb to give them their first win of the night... Ramos held his own against the bigger man here for a good while, with this breaking down on the outside for practically half the match. But Mason would eventually bust Manny open, and shortly thereafter, landed a brutal Alabama Slam to pick up a victory, reminding the crowd how dangerous he can be. Much to the dismay of those in attendance, Maya Minh Sai began to take control of this match down the stretch, neutralizing Carmen Latour's usual high-flying offense, and cranking her into the Lotus Lock, forcing Carmen to surrender and keeping Maya looking tough after losing to Lance Marshall last month. Try as they might, Wanted: DOA couldn't quite keep up with Dominic and Laura here, with Laura's raw power proving a major factor in their victory. But it was Dominic Stanton that came out with the pinfall victory, bringing down Blanche Wesson-Smith with a Fisherman Driver, and scoring the victory... though they couldn't fully celebrate it in the end. Johnny Rocket more than cemented himself as the #1 contender with this win. Although Sung Moon gave this one hell of a shot, landing multiple kicks out of the corner and trying to keep Rocket down, he'd set up the Starship Voyage with a Spider German, and made it very clear that he's next in line to face Lance Marshall for the Spirit of Texas Championship. Lance Marshall has made it very clear from day one that he's the boss, the man in charge, the champion above all. And while Georgia Eagles definitely gave this a serious fight, Lance was in no mood to roll over tonight, perhaps giving Johnny Rocket a preview of what he'll be in for next month when they face off for the Spirit of Texas Championship... With a performance like this, there could be no doubt in anyone's mind. A wild, wild brawl saw Ryan Donovan and Nathan Haines come out ahead of the Marshall sisters, with Donovan eventually catching Cassandra in his team's corner, and crushing her to the mat with a flying crucifix bomb, ending her undefeated streak and making absolutely sure his team would fight for the tag titles next month. But who would they be up against? The decision was impossible to make between the other two teams that had won earlier in the night, so an impromptu final match was held... Ian and Jackson vs. Dominic and Laura. And they made it a wild one, with neither side wanting to give up, neither wanting to give an inch to the other. Ian, though, would eventually gain the upper hand, cranking Dominic into a reverse STF, and taking their place as the challengers... Ian Robinson and Jackson Shaw will face Ryan Donovan and Nathan Haines for AFW's tag titles next month... but only one team can be crowned AFW's first-ever champions.

Coming up on Monday night, another episode of Showdown... with a few major matches to be had. Celine Chevalier vs. La Relampaga
The Heyward Sisters vs. Pure Gold Blake Dynamite vs. Todd Colton
Layla Al-Amin vs. Angel Leblanc The Limbtakers vs. Firehawk Sentarl and Kileas Kintelas
Victor Kintelas vs. Revon Beauregard
Silver Hawk vs. Telan Kintelas for the Pacific Northwest Championship Eri and Kaelara Sentarl vs. Haruka Matsura and Selisha Gabriela Gallego vs. Fenix OscuroKicking off the night, it could be a big night for Les Beautes Blondes, starting with Celine Chevalier facing off against La Relampaga. It seems likely that LBB has their sights set on tearing down the high-flying team of Relampaga and Layla Al-Amin... and Celine could start that process right here in the opener.
Vindication may have returned their attention to Eri's alliance... and now Pure Gold turns their sights firmly on the Heyward Sisters. Can Listalva and Anari stand up to the raw power of Vindication's biggest and baddest duo?
Todd Colton continues to insist on a championship opportunity... but who would show up to try and silence the loudmouth but one-half of the current tag team champions? Blake Dynamite has had his issues with Todd in the past, and he could easily shut him up with a win here... no doubt, though, that both will be bringing backup to the ring for this one.
Angel Leblanc, as the leader of LBB, has taken it on herself to challenge the Cairo Cyclone, seeing her as the bigger threat of her team... but does Angel really have what it takes to keep pace with Layla Al-Amin? This could be a standout match if Angel can hold her own, but Layla could easily wipe her out if she's not careful...
The Limbtakers are getting one hell of an opportunity this week, as they take on two of the biggest names in Phoenix Rising. Firehawk and Kileas are quickly gaining momentum as a team, but they don't quite have the long-running partnership that Candace and RNA have... the Limbtakers could be in line for a huge title shot if they can win this one.
Victor Kintelas almost certainly has his sights set on Showdown gold at this point... and his eyes seem to be on the Pacific Northwest Championship first and foremost. Revon Beauregard seems to be the next one on his path to the top... can Victor keep up his momentum and rocket his way to another championship?
The Pacific Northwest Championship, meanwhile, will be defended as always... this time, against Silver Hawk, as Telan Kintelas seeks to make another successful defense, and becoming one of the longest-running champions of the past year. But Silver Hawk has what it takes... we've seen it before.
The Malevolent Triad is being kept away from the main event... thanks to the Sentarl sisters, as Eri and Kaelara seek to remind the Triad that they're not going to let them have their way. Eri appears more than determined to put the Triad well behind her... but will they really leave this alone in the end?
Finally, capping off the night, Gabriela Gallego makes one more appearance away from Proving Ground, seeking to put the false Oscuro in her place. Gabriela's called out the woman wearing the mask she once donned herself... and this could be a rude awakening for whoever it is that's taken it from her.

Some dominant showings tonight, and some truly stunning upsets! Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/916070090Youtube: youtu.be/g2pDTtg1FZMQuick Results Celine Chevalier def. La Relampaga The Heyward Sisters def. Pure Gold Blake Dynamite def. Todd Colton Angel Leblanc def. Layla Al-Amin The Limbtakers def. Firehawk Sentarl and Kileas Kintelas Revon Beauregard def. Victor Kintelas Telan Kintelas def. Silver Hawk to retain the Pacific Northwest Championship The Sentarl Sisters def. The Malevolent Triad (Haruka/Selisha) Gabriela Gallego def. Fenix Oscuro Write-ups Celine Chevalier has never looked more dangerous than she did right here, tearing straight through La Relampaga like she was nothing. It was just the start of a fantastic night for Les Beautes Blondes... It took a hell of a lot to get there, but the Heywards had the better teamwork throughout this match, and Anari's impressive strength proved more than a match for Pure Gold, hoisting Kanjirin up into a brutal torture rack late in the match to get the submission and the victory. Despite Todd's constant insistence that he should be the #1 contender for the World Championship, Blake Dynamite simply outdid him in every way here, enduring the constant string of flash pins and arm wrenching to nail a Lightning Leg Lariat, and putting Todd down for the three-count. Could Blake be looking to take a stab at being a double-champion? LBB's night just kept getting better, as Angel Leblanc was at her best against the Cairo Cyclone, grounding the high-flyer and never letting her get up to full speed. Her Figure-Eight leglock would seal the victory, the second for the Blondes on the night... trouble might be on the horizon for the rest of the roster. The match of the Limbtaker's careers. Faced with two of the top talents in Phoenix Rising, Candace and RNA were on top of their game, enduring everything that Firehawk and Kileas threw their way... and Candace, determined to live up to their name, eventually got Kileas on the mat and went for the legs, scoring a stunning tapout victory. Could the Limbtakers be in line for a shot at the Dynawasps and the tag titles? Few would've expected the LBB sweep on the night thanks to this match, but Revon Beauregard clearly did not care one bit about what anyone thought of his chances. Victor never quite got into full-gear in this one, and though he hit most of his biggest moves, Revon was just on fire throughout, eventually finishing off with his signature submission to get the victory, and the LBB trifecta. Telan Kintelas might be re-shaping the Pacific Northwest division with every passing week. This marks his third defense of the title... and with his next defense coming against one of the longest-running champs of last year, in Anari Lynn Heyward, there's sure to be a war over the title come next episode. The Sentarl sisters continue to show that they might just be one of the best duos in Phoenix Rising. They certainly proved it here against two-thirds of the Triad, as Haruka and Selisha just couldn't keep pace with Eri's blistering speed, and Kae's technique and strength. The Little Phoenix once again cemented her place at the top with her namesake move. Gabriela Gallego was in no mood to allow a "fraud" to outdo her. As the original Oscuro, she was out to prove something against the new one... and she damn well did that, shrugging off a Shining Wizard and landing a quick running SSP to seal a victory, and make it glaringly obvious who the better woman was. Gabriela Gallego "I know who you are beneath that mask, 'Oscuro'. Just like Eri, now I know for sure, having faced you one-on-one. It's jealousy, pure and simple... much like I had towards her. Someone better than you... two of them, no less? Until you figure out how to get out of the shadow of your own past, you'll never beat either of us. You can't tie yourself down to that... can't improve merely by following after the two of us.
Hurl yourself into a hopeless vendetta all you want... but when you're ready to find your way to the top... come find me. When you're ready to swallow your pride... I'll be here."

One hell of a Proving Ground coming up this week, with all three titles on the line, and plenty of names looking to make their mark. Leona Sterling vs. Mercedes Ortega
White Hot vs. The Excellent Blades
Rilantha De Nav vs. Akira Ryusaki
Golden Tigress vs. Katherine White
Winter Fresh vs. Riccardo De Luca and Felice Santana
Hikari Ueno vs. Calista Vargas
Jessika Boom vs. Anna Bryant for the Inspire Championship
The Rising Storm vs. The Wright Stuff for the Proving Ground Tag Team Championships
Chico Con Carne vs. Sanya Markov for the Top Prospect ChampionshipStarting off this Monday night, Leona Sterling seeks to reverse her recent fortunes... but against Mercedes Ortega, who's quickly distinguishing herself in the Inspire division, can Leona really battle back and start to build her own legacy? Or will Mercedes shut down the brash Scottish shooter once again?
White Hot steps in against their toughest challenge yet... perhaps one of the premiere tag teams on Proving Ground in the Excellent Blades. Rei and Keiko will be tested, no doubt about that, as Keiko's strength clashes with Nicole Blade's... and Rei Hasegawa aims to weather the storm that is the pure technique of Donna Nobel.
Akira Ryusaki will also find himself tested... pushed to his limits against Phoenix Rising's resident veteran, Rilantha De Nav. Akira's proven to be a solid talent on Proving Ground, but will it really be enough against the woman whose reputation speaks for itself?
Golden Tigress seems determined to bring gold back to the Ambush... and if she has to do it by herself, she will. It seems she'll start on her path by taking on Katherine White, perhaps seeing her as an easy target... which, no doubt, Katherine would resent knowing. Tigress should not look past this match... it could mean disaster if she lets her guard down.
Don't blink. This match is going to be high-octane, high-speed, non-stop. Four of the fastest, most talented people in all of Proving Ground are about to clash in what could be one of the wildest tag team matches Proving Ground has ever witnessed... with Winter Fresh squaring off against Riccardo and Felice, you can't miss a single second.
Hikari Ueno might be having a tough time adjusting to Proving Ground so far... and this match could be an eye-opener for her. Calista Vargas isn't known for showing much in the way of restraint... it's sink or swim, especially if the Stormbreaker makes an appearance. If Hikari wants to prove herself, though, there's no better opponent...
Jessika Boom is on the verge of a huge breakout moment. She came out on top in a fantastic 4-way contest two weeks ago... bringing down some of Proving Ground's best. But now she steps into the ring with the Inspire Champion... and Anna Bryant isn't likely to give up the title she fought so hard to win without a fight. Jessika will have to be at her absolute best if she wants to have any hope of winning her first gold in Phoenix Rising...
The Rising Storm have finally gotten this far: while they're two-time Phoenix Rising Tag Team Champions, they now seek the Proving Ground tag titles, aiming to add to their already-impressive legacy. A win here would only cement the Rising Storm as the premiere tag team in all of Phoenix Rising... but the Wright Stuff have been red-hot for a while now, and it won't be easy, even for the Rising Storm, to take the titles from their hands...
Chico Con Carne has been on fire for months, now. While La Familia's tag title reign was brought to an end recently by the Wright Stuff, Chico hasn't let up on the gas even a little bit... and after winning his own 4-way matchup, he now sets his sights on Sanya Markov and the Top Prospect Championship. But Sanya has been a changed man since the Grand Ascension... and the Russian has crushed anyone and everyone that's stood in his path since becoming champion. Can Chico make him even appear mortal?

A wild night of action for Proving Ground this week, flipping between hard-fought brawls, and outright destruction... Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/925103416Youtube: youtu.be/KjRJYkc6R4kQuick Results Leona Sterling def. Mercedes Ortega The Excellent Blades def. White Hot Rilantha De Nav def. Akira Ryusaki Katherine White def. Golden Tigress Winter Fresh def. Riccardo De Luca and Felice Santana Hikari Ueno def. Calista Vargas Anna Bryant def. Jessika Boom to retain the Inspire Championship The Rising Storm def. The Wright Stuff to become the NEW Proving Ground Tag Team Champions Sanya Markov def. Chico Con Carne to retain the Top Prospect Championship Rafael Gallego def. HAYATO Write-ups Leona Sterling's had a rough time of it lately... this seems to be a change of fortune for the young Scot, as she came roaring out of the gate and obliterated Mercedes Ortega, weakening her with her signature guillotine chokes before landing a diving elbowdrop, seemingly just to rub it in. Try as they might, White Hot could not hold up against the Blades, and Nicole Blade's raw power was just too much in the end, to the point where after Keiko Maeda took a brutal spear, Rei Hasegawa stepped into the ring, and simply... froze. Perhaps it was intimidation from Nicole, who seemed to be staring down the young talent, but either way, the Blades get the win. Akira Ryusaki may not have gotten the win here, but he damn sure made this a fight, even with as brief as the match ended up being. He pushed Ril to keep the pace moving, and the veteran obliged, both sides trading some big moves before Ril pulled off the quick win with simple technique, a reminder of just how thoroughly skilled she is. Tigress, intent on proving she's set to take a step into the Inspire division, squared off with Katherine White while the rest of the Ambush watched. And that's all they did... watch, as Tigress got picked apart by Katherine, taking a Kat's Cradle and falling in a stunning defeat. Perhaps Tigress should stick to the tag division. Winter Fresh showed their experience in this one... while Riccardo and Felice are electric as a team, Rin and Fresh are fully capable of keeping up with their blistering pace, and they did exactly that, with Rin ultimately landing a cutter late in the match with just the right timing to pick up the win, while Riccardo was on his way out of the ring by referee's orders. Potentially a star-making moment for Hikari Ueno, who came out with something to prove, and absolutely stuffed Calista Vargas at every turn, eventually crushing the young Brazilian with a Shock Arrow piledriver. Ueno scores easily the biggest win of her young career, but can she keep that momentum going? Jessika Boom fought hard here, but it just wasn't to be despite throwing everything she had at Anna. Dynamite Cutters, and the bow and arrow, proved not enough to bring down the champion, and Anna fired off an O'Connor German out of the corner... and when that proved not quite enough, reeled off three more German suplexes to finish the job and retain her title. The Rising Storm are back on top of the world. While the Wrights fought well here, Arthur in particular, late in the match Xiu Mei Li turned up the pressure and began to work the STF almost exclusively, wearing Arthur down and eventually forcing the submission, giving the Storm their first Proving Ground tag title reign, and third reign in the Phoenix Rising organization overall. Never in doubt. Sanya Markov has become an absolute monster since the Grand Ascension, crushing Victor Kintelas at New Year's Bash, and now, wiping out Chico Con Carne with hardly any effort. This was pure, absolute brutality from the Russian... and it leads us to wonder, who on earth is capable of stopping him? So as not to end the night on such a down-note, Rafael Gallego and HAYATO stepped into the ring for one extra match. And what a match it was. For the first time, we caught a glimpse of Rafael's old career as Pajaro de Fuego, landing a Fenix Dive crucifix bomb on the outside of the ring... but HAYATO definitely wasn't going quietly himself, landing multiple HAYATO Drivers, fighting through all but Rafael's final move, a vicious submission that finally scored the young Mexican the victory, and closed out the night on a much brighter note. Sanya Markov <There is no one in Proving Ground capable of taking this championship from my grasp. Those of you who are smaller than me, you have no chance against my power. Those of you who believe yourself as strong as I am, you are wrong, and I will prove it time and time again until it sinks in. I am Proving Ground's Top Prospect. I am the nightmare of all who seek this title. I am an unstoppable force, now, and there is not a single one of you who will ever change that fact. Feel free to decide who you send out to fall next. I will be waiting.>

It's Evergreen tomorrow night, with two major championship matches to be had, one of which sees a man getting his first title opportunity in Evergreen. Andrea Hawke vs. Iris Coleman
Crimson Romance vs. The Big Boys (rematch)
KyO vs. The Phantom Thief
Mercy Devine vs. Julian Shepard
Argent and Binak Tonorian vs. Kantar and Tasharun
Sabrina vs. Jennifer Hunter
Freya O'Malley vs. Riley Montgomery
The Sheridan Brothers vs. Victoria Fox and Kelly Wolfe for the Evergreen Tag Team Championships
Logan Axelrod vs. Elly Blackwood for the Evergreen ChampionshipStarting things off for us this time around, Andrea Hawke steps into the ring aiming to bounce back after getting wiped out last month by Kantar, while Iris Coleman is coming off of a hard-fought defeat to Julian Shepard. Both will be looking to fight their way back up the ranks.
Last month, we saw this match take place and end in strange fashion when Chasity simply... froze in place. We'll see if we can avoid that happening again in this rematch, and get a more proper finish to the match.
The Phantom Thief has been an elusive figure in his Evergreen run, often vanishing for multiple shows at a time... but he's here this month, set to take on KyO, who's looking to get things rolling again. Sabrina's bound to be at ringside for this one as usual... and could play a factor in the match.
Mercy Devine might be on the verge of a breakout moment in her own fed... and to keep her momentum up, she'll step into the ring with a former Evergreen Champion in Julian Shepard, who's seen his fortunes change wildly over the past year. Regardless of what happens, though, expect this one to get wild and violent.
Once again, the titans of Evergreen clash, giants smashing into each other as Argent seeks to topple the demonic duo alongside the colossal Binak Tonorian. We've seen this before, with Kantar and Tasharun getting the win, but... there's simply no teling how this might go, a second time.
Sabrina once again seeks to get herself in the conversation for a championship match... as she looks to push herself up the ranks and perhaps get a chance at glory once again. But Jennifer Hunter stands in her way, determined to find her own way to the top over the brash Jersey She-Devil.
We've been anticipating this match for months, now... the first meeting between Freya O'Malley and Riley Montgomery since their colossal war in the 50-State Preliminaries. This one's going to be intense... but with no rules, no surrender, how much more intense can it get? This is surely Riley's final match in Evergreen, so she's bound to make it memorable...
The Sheridans are fresh off of losing their sojourn into PEWA, falling to the Most Hated in Philly... but can they bounce back and topple the incredible Evergreen Tag Team Champions? Fox and Wolfe have been absolutely electric from the moment they arrived in Evergreen, and could be far, far above the Sheridans' level...
Finally, Logan Axelrod's record since his debut speaks for itself. He's been fiercely competitive, dominant at times, but now he faces perhaps the single most dominant wrestler ever to set foot in an Evergreen ring. Logan could make history here by toppling the Invincible... but Elly Blackwood isn't likely to give up this title without a fight. This could be one of the biggest matches Evergreen's ever witnessed.

It was an all-out war tonight for Evergreen, with every match seemingly a flat-out blitz to the finish. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/928767053Youtube: youtu.be/-zLAWAy1XDwQuick Results Andrea Hawke def. Iris Coleman The Big Boys def. Crimson Romance KyO def. The Phantom Thief Julian Shepard def. Mercy Devine Argent and Binak Tonorian def. Kantar and Tasharun Sabrina def. Jennifer Hunter Freya O'Malley def. Riley Montgomery Kelly Wolfe and Victoria Fox def. The Sheridan Brothers to retain the Evergreen Tag Team Championships Elly Blackwood def. Logan Axelrod to retain the Evergreen Championship Oakland's Most Metal (Veronika/Rebecca/Sayaka) def. eMo (Sookie/Eddy/Penelope) Write-ups Andrea Hawke was in deep trouble for most of this match, busted open almost immediately and struggling to keep pace with Iris the whole time. But she battled back, steadily fighting her way back into the match, and finally hit a last, desperate Superkick that scored the win, leaving Andrea bloodied, exhausted, but victorious. The rematch didn't go nearly as well as the first match did, even despite there not being any strange freezing shenanigans. The Big Boys were just absolutely in control, and Skidmark would put a brutal end to this one, making it clear that they're looking to become the premiere team in Evergreen. The Thief seemed to have this well in hand for most of the night, but KyO simply would not back down... holding his ground with his usual style, and despite Sabrina's... well-intentioned, but poorly-timed interference, KyO would turn the tide and pull off the victory. Despite Mercy bringing her usual violence into play, Julian didn't slow down, forcing Mercy to try and keep up... and she failed at it, falling victim to a Phoenix Splash and giving Julian a major victory. This seemed destined to be a quick one, given that stamina isn't exactly a strong point for anyone here. But Binak came roaring through this one, a wrecking ball by any description as he crushed Kantar with a brutal powerbomb, while Argent kept Tasharun occupied to pick up the win. Sabrina never really seemed to be in danger here despite how dangerous Jennifer Hunter is. While Hunter would get a Stealth Viper locked in, Sabrina endured, and with her usual tactics, picked up the win after a blatant low-blow... all within the rules, as usual. Freya O'Malley was not about to let this turn into another drawn-out brawl with Riley Montgomery, and she brought the fight to Riley in a hurry. This was fast, vicious, and Freya would come out on top with her Batten Kill Tigerdriver, evening the score between them. This won't be the last time these two meet... How many times is Zack Sheridan going to blow an important match for the brothers? Once again, he was pre-occupied with something else while Vincent got dropped, leveled by a vicious kick from Kelly Wolfe... and the champions retain, leaving the Sheridans looking like a complete joke thanks to Zack's complete lack of awareness. This might've been the first time Elly Blackwood's looked remotely vulnerable against someone that wasn't Kevin Royce. Logan Axelrod was a beast here, pushing Elly to her absolute limit, and it was Elly's resilience that kept her in the fight, the champion finally having to throw out one last brainbuster to pull off the win and defend her title. One final match took place before the night came to a close, with the entire Oakland trio making their way to the ring for a match with eMo's main trio in turn. Sookie, Eddy and Penelope all brought the fight, but Veronika Armstrong was in no mood to lose this match to the eMo trio, eventually spearing Eddy Introspect practically out of his shoes and picking up the huge win.

A lot of stuff coming up on Showdown this Monday, with a huge #1 contender's match to decide who the first challenger for Eri Sentarl's World Championship will be. We're coming up on a colossal triple-champion Showdown in just two weeks more, and this is where we find out how that'll shake out. Besos vs. Haruka Matsura
Celine Chevalier vs. Kyle Anderson vs. Rachel White vs. Victor Kintelas Ruthless Nicole Alger vs. Mascara Avispa Kaelara Sentarl vs. Yuki Maeda
Todd Colton and Natasha Clover vs. The Muscle Machines Candace Monroe vs. Blake Dynamite
Listalva Anne Heyward vs. Shiana Sentarl
Firehawk Sentarl and Kileas Kintelas vs. Layla Al-Amin and La Relampaga Anari Lynn Heyward vs. Telan Kintelas for the Pacific Northwest Championship Angel Leblanc vs. Alexandria Kirison vs. Kanjirin Tonorian, #1 contender match for the World ChampionshipStarting off the night, it's Pacific Northwest division action, with Besos looking to push her way back up the ranks once again against Haruka Matsura. The Malevolent Triad has been reeling for the past month, after the revelation brought to us by Gabriela Gallego, and the realization of perhaps just why Oscuro's slipped so badly as of late. Haruka may very well wind up taking the lead for the Triad in the future, but can she really stop Besos? A 4-way match will see a challenger decided for the Pacific Northwest Championship in two weeks: with the next two contenders in line after Anari Lynn Heyward wrapped up in the Tag Team Championship match, a new challenger has to be determined for that show, and these four will seek to come out on top. Victor Kintelas, in particular, stands out... if Telan retains the title, and Victor wins here, it'll be uncle vs. nephew, over a prize that Telan is quickly making his own. The first half of this week's Limbtakers vs. Dynawasps singles matches, Ruthless Nicole Alger stands in against Mascara Avispa, in a wild clash of styles. Alger's incredible grounded attack squares off against Avispa's unbelievable lucha skills, and it's clear that the Limbtakers will have an uphill battle against the champions... both here, and in their tag title match. It would appear that Vindication has turned their attention towards the quickly-rising quartet that is the Sentarl and Heyward sisters. Yuki Maeda has her sights set on Kaelara, and the young star will definitely need to be cautious against the veteran powerhouse, who's proven beyond any doubt how dangerous she is over her long career. Todd Colton is not a happy man right now. Left out of the #1 contender's match for reasons he'd love to have explained, he'll instead find himself here in a tag match against the Muscle Machines, whose Showdown run has been impressive, if not exactly successful. Gear and AAA will be lucky if they get through this without Todd destroying at least one arm during this match. Candace Monroe could be on the run of her life right now. The Limbtakers have fallen short nearly every time they've gotten a big opportunity, but could this be a sign of their big breakout finally? She'll step into the ring against perennial top talent Blake Dynamite... if she can keep up with Blake, Candace might find her way to the top sooner rather than later. With Eri Sentarl taking the night off after a vicious fight with Crusher Honda on Friday, Shiana Sentarl instead sets her sights on the one person Eri is closest to, in Listalva Anne Heyward. It's Queen vs. Queen: the Queen of Phoenix Rising taking on Queen Anne, as Listalva aims to knock off the leader of Vindication and strike a blow in Eri's place. Layla Al-Amin and La Relampaga have a huge opportunity here as they take on the icons of Phoenix Rising: Firehawk and Kileas are still reeling from their shocking loss to the Limbtakers, and now have to re-focus if they want to come out on top against one of the fastest teams in the entire fed. Anari Lynn Heyward has been here before. The last time these two met for the Pacific Northwest Championship was back in August, when Anari won the title and held it until the end of the Grand Ascension. But Telan is on a truly dominant run this time... can Anari take him down, and claim her third reign with the title? Or will Telan continue to cement himself as the most dominant Pacific Northwest Champion in the past year? Finally, a three-way #1 contender's match will close out this huge night of action: Angel Leblanc, Alexandria Kirison, and Kanjirin Tonorian have all earned this shot with their recent successes, and all are aiming to be the one that challenges Eri for the World Championship. But only one can come out on top... will it be Angel's raw technique? Alex's hard-nosed brawling? Or Kanjirin's incredible power? Todd Colton "Don't think I'm not paying attention to your game. It really doesn't matter who's in charge of putting this shit together. Whether it's Firehawk, whether it's some management jackass sitting behind a desk all day, doesn't matter. I know you don't want me going anywhere near your precious Little Phoenix and her World Championship. But see... you can't keep me away from that title forever. You can't deny me what I've fucking earned. I'll play along with this, FOR NOW. 'cause see, you're putting me against the dimmest pair of idiots that's ever come along through Showdown... the friggin' Muscle Machines. Two meatheads that don't have nearly what it takes against me and Natasha. But I'm warning you... I'm warning everyone. If I'm not in the conversation for that World Championship by the time Sky's the Limit rolls around this year... then I'm taking the decision out of your hands, and doing whatever I have to do. And if that means beating the Little Phoenix down until she can't stand anymore...
Then you'd better believe I'll make that happen." Eri Sentarl "There's a lot to go over here... so much I have to talk about. So let's start with Friday. Lightning Pro. My match with Crusher Honda... by now you know me well enough, I don't go out there to do... what happened, on purpose. I fight with everything I've got, but I'm not out to injure people, I'm not out to put people on the shelf. Certainly not Honda, I have... far, far too much respect for her. But that match does represent something I've lived by for the past three years: The bigger you are, the harder you fall. And when I hit the Little Phoenix, that phrase is never more fitting. Against most people closer to my own size, I can hit that move with some solid impact... against someone bigger, like Honda? You've got a lot further to go down. No doubt she'll want a rematch when she's back in the ring, and I'm absolutely willing to step in against the Destructive Duo as many times as they want me. You're capable of pushing me, and anyone else you face off against, to the absolute limit. And that's what I want, more than anything. To push myself further than I ever have before. I won't hold anything back against you, because I have so much respect for your abilities, because I respect the damage you're capable of doing. Because I know that the moment I let up off of the gas for even a second, I'm history. So to you, Honda, I offer only this: my sincerest apologies for how that match ended, and my hopes that we'll stand across the ring from one another again soon.
That brings me to the #1 contender's match on Monday. Three big names all looking for their shot at me. Two of them with a personal stake in it all. Angel... you're looking for another run at me, but make no mistake, I'm not letting you or anyone else with Les Beautes Blondes come out ahead of me. You still want to bring me down so badly, but you're not taking this title from me, even if you get through this match. That's a promise.
Kanjirin Tonorian... I know the gameplan here. I know what's happening. Mom's sending in the biggest and baddest in Vindication, and you're probably the favorite to win this thing and take me on. But if you think that you're guaranteed to win this, and go on to beat me? Hell no. I may not have faced anyone quite your size, Kanjirin, but I've sure as hell beaten tougher than you. Just ask Crusher Honda. Just ask the Black Dragon. Just ask Laenara Kintelas. I'm almost hoping you're the one that takes this just so I can finally get my full attention on Vindication... and my mother.
Finally, there's Alex... you and I don't have any issues with each other. You're tough, you're a veteran like no other. I've learned a lot from just watching you over the past few years, I've seen how the people you've trained have soared to new heights... you're the one person in this match that I know, that if you win... there's not gonna be any bad blood, no hard feelings, just a tough match ahead. But don't get me wrong, Alex... I still won't lose to you. No matter how much respect I have for your abilities, no matter how good you are... I am the World Champion, and I'm not letting anyone change that anytime soon.
That... covers most of it. But it brings me to one last little thing.
Todd Colton. I heard what you said. About how you're being 'held back'. Kept away from me and this title. You want it so badly that you'd be willing to attack me unprovoked, you want revenge on me for the Grand Ascension more than anything in the world, besides maybe the title I've got. I don't think you're being 'kept away', Todd. I think you're being saved for something... bigger. Better. And you know what? If you're that determined to get your shot at me...
After my championship match in two weeks, I'll give you something to think about. But if you think that you can just ambush me and take me out, and take my title...
Then you really have no idea what the Little Phoenix is capable of."

Hell of a show tonight, despite some technical issues mid-way (luckily, they weren't too bad.) The Muscle Machines Blake Dynamite def. Candace Monroe Shiana Sentarl def. Listalva Anne Heyward Firehawk Sentarl and Kileas Kintelas def. Layla Al-Amin and La Relampaga Anari Lynn Heyward def. Telan Kintelas to become the NEW Pacific Northwest Championship Angel Leblanc def. Kanjirin Tonorian and Alexandria Kirison Write-ups This was a red-hot opener between two experienced flyers, with neither woman giving an inch to the other... but Haruka would eventually pull out ahead, landing a Falcon Arrow and finishing the job with a vicious moonsault to score the victory. Victor Kintelas only recently entered the Pacific Northwest division, only allowing himself to challenge for a Showdown title once he'd dropped the Top Prospect belt to Sanya Markov. And now, he's made an absolutely meteoric rise to the top of the division. Even discounting that his opportunity came thanks to a few factors working in his favor, he still had to endure this four-way contest, and he did just that, coming away as the #1 contender for the title in two weeks. Rough night for the Limbtakers, and despite RNA putting up one hell of a fight, Avispa's lucha talents would keep him firmly in control as he came in hard and fast, picking up a fast-paced victory off a running flash pin, and making it clear that taking the tag titles from the Dynawasps will not be easy. Try as she might, Kaelara Sentarl could not put away the veteran here, as Yuki turned up the pressure, eventually resorting to brutal chops that left Kae weak... and finally, forced the young star to tap out to the signature Maeda Lock, giving Vindication a major victory. Todd Colton more than backed up his words ahead of this show... and while he didn't pick up the win for his team, he was certainly a factor, allowing Natasha to level Gary Gear with a spear, and giving them the victory over the Muscle Machines. The struggles for the Limbtakers continued here, as Candace couldn't quite get her foothold here, and Blake Dynamite would coast to a strong victory on the back of the Double Lotation. The Dynawasps are looking very, very strong ahead of their title defense... can the Limbtakers get it together for their match in two weeks? Queen Anne gave this one everything she had... but against the Queen of Phoenix Rising, it seemed like only a matter of time before the tide turned against her. Lis had a Crossface Chickenwing locked in late, and Shiana almost certainly tapped out to it... but the ref was busy dealing with Yuki Maeda on the outside, saving Shiana from defeat, and allowing her to land a Superkick moments later that laid out Queen Anne. A strong bounce-back for Firehawk and Kileas after their stunning loss to the Limbtakers, keeping Layla and Relampaga from pushing the pace to their style, and Firehawk would lock in a Sharpshooter to pick up the proper victory. Once again, Anari Lynn Heyward and Telan Kintelas clashed for the Pacific Northwest Championship, and once again, Anari would come out on top, her power proving more than a match for Telan's as she answered a torture rack with one of her own, claiming the Pacific Northwest Championship for the third time. But does she really have what it takes to stop the surging Victor? It's very, very foolish to discount Angel Leblanc in any match... as tonight showed. Perhaps outmatched by her two opponents on paper, she spent much of this one taking her shots where she could, allowing Alexandria Kirison to eliminate Kanjirin Tonorian with her cross-arm camel clutch... then sweeping in to land one of her signature rolling DDTs, standing tall over Alex as the show closed, and giving her a huge opportunity at the World Championship... and thus, the Little Phoenix. Can she avenge the defeat that's haunted her since last October? Shiana Sentarl "You thought I'd turn my attention away from you forever? That I'd let it all slide, Eri? Now that you're standing so tall, so proud as the World Champion... it's about time someone brought you down to earth again, where you belong. You have no idea the gravity of your accomplishment. No idea of where you stand. And you watched, this week, as you saw the cracks start to form. You watched as your sister, and your lover, both fell to Vindication. I insist that you defend that title in two weeks, that you do not lose to Angel Leblanc... because once you've gotten through that, I will be the next to step forward for that title of yours. It's time that you stepped aside for the veteran, for the Queen. Because you truly have no idea what you're stepping into. But you will, Eri. Daughter or not, I'll make sure you're put in your place soon enough."
