Someone remind the Evergreen wrestlers that we're not running up on a time limit and they can work as long as they need to Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/480716835Youtube: youtu.be/oeC-3Opb8osQuick Results Ash Defiant def. Zack Sheridan Sayaka Saito def. Luci Elly Blackwood def. Rebecca Andrews Skidmark def. Concrete Pete Kantar def. Vincent Sheridan Kevin Royce def. Veronika Armstrong Eternamente Verde def. Babe Ruthless Write-ups Zack might have gotten a bit of a chance to show his (admittedly legitimate) talents here, but Ash Defiant was a wrecking ball tonight, a powerhouse like no other, and a huge powerbomb sealed this one to open the show, and positioned Defiant as perhaps a future contender for the Evergreen Championship. Luci came looking to avenge Penelope Lea, but Sayaka Saito was in no mood to roll over for the fourth member of eMo. Sayaka simply did not give an inch, delivering a frenzy of offense that led to a vicious full-nelson camel clutch to pick up the win, and perhaps make it clear that she might be best in a singles role. A match that looked like a complete mismatch on paper turned out to be one of the highlights of the night. Rebecca Andrews didn't back down in the face of a seemingly overwhelming opponent in Elly Blackwood... and nearly took the win after a Go 2 Sleep, only for Elly to kick out and come roaring back into the match with a frenzy of armwork, finishing the job with a cross armbreaker that forced the tapout. Two huge walls of meat colliding... what more is there to say about this match? It might've been, surprisingly, one of the best matches on the show... brawling on the outside, a surprising aptitude for flying from Skidmark, culminating in a HUGE diving crossbody to take the victory. Vincent did not want to go out quietly in this match. He gave Kantar everything he had... a pair of Superstar Elbows, a Double Lotation Moonsault... and kicked out of the first Triple Powerbomb Kantar hit on him. The second Triple Powerbomb, however, was not one Vincent had a hope of escaping. This one completely knocked the loudmouth egomaniac out, much to the delight of Mercy Devine... and so, Vincent pays the price for taking out Evergringo a couple of weeks ago. A sprint to the finish... Kevin's trademark outside brawl with a PILE of chairs, as usual... a vicious Super Bomb on the outside, and while Veronika tried to fight back once the action returned to the ring, Kevin delivered a pair of Iron Claw Slams, and pinned the former champion with little effort. Verde has a special talent, it seems, of making people want to stop fighting her as soon as possible. Few want to stay in the ring with a crazy luchadora who's willing to grab a fork and poke holes in her opponent's head... which is exactly what she did to Babe Ruthless, eventually delivering a Hurricane Driver and putting Ruthless down in short order. In two weeks... Verde faces off against Strawberry Sookie for the Evergreen Championship. Does Sookie have what it takes to stop the woman who, so far, has been the most dominant Evergreen Champion yet? Kantar "Think you're so FUCKING clever, don't you, Mr. 'I'm better than you'. Thought you could stay one step ahead because you're so damn quick on your feet, that I wouldn't get my hands on you. Problem is... I did. And now, you get to relax for a while, recover from that beating, and remember one important detail: you might be 'better' than a lot of people, but against me, you're just another one left broken in my wake. No one can stop me... least of all YOU."

It's just one more show this month before we get to the real big stuff... One last Proving Ground before we get to CHAMPIONSHIP CHAOS(Damn, I could easily call those last two weeks exactly that) Layla Al-Amin vs. Felice Santana
Kyle Anderson vs. Hugo Dirksen
Candace Monroe vs. Nicole Blade
Winter Fresh vs. The GOAT (Kellaron and Victor)
Ruthless Nicole Alger vs. Donna Nobel
Akira Ryusaki vs. Avery Adonis Alexander
Titania vs. Golden Tigress
Adrenaline Rush vs. The Avian Assassins We get under way this week with a high-flying contest between two of the best Proving Ground's got to offer. With Layla Al-Amin tapped for the Grand Ascension next month, she's very much looking to stay sharp... and Felice Santana is sure to keep her busy here, knowing that the young Santana has been able to score wins over much, much greater opponents. Kyle Anderson also happens to have something big coming up in the next month... in his case, it's a trip to Warrior Pro for the recently announced Gorilla Memorial Tournament, in which he's primed to face a man named Cade Wageman... and potentially a huge matchup with Rampage Hunter if he can win that opening round. For now, however, Kyle will be squaring off with Hugo Dirksen... a clash between a current member of Team Proving Ground, and a former one. The continued clash between the Blades and the Limbtakers... this week, they've traded opponents ahead of their tag title match, leaving Candace Monroe, standing five foot nothing, takes on maybe the most vicious powerhouse that Proving Ground's ever witnessed in Nicole Blade. Blade's already beaten RNA one-on-one... but Candace showed some serious skill in taking a win over Donna Nobel recently. Winter Fresh faces maybe one of the toughest matches of their careers here: the former tag team champions, Victor and Kellaron, have been one of the best teams ever assembled on Proving Ground, but Winter Fresh have gained a penchant for scoring massive upsets over teams that should, by all rights, outmatch them. It's hard to call this one. Ruthless Nicole Alger is looking to bounce back after getting taken down by Nicole Blade last Proving Ground... but Donna Nobel wants to do very much the same thing. RNA's main priority here will be bringing that devastating armwork into play... but Donna's proven to be an incredible technician as of late, and she won't make it easy. Akira Ryusaki's already had one run-in with the Muscle Machines in the past... back at Proving Ground #39 he lost in short order to Gary Gear. This time, he's looking to come out swinging against the other half of the team in Avery Adonis Alexander... but have the Machines found someone that just doesn't have what it takes against them? Titania remains in a foul mood. After failing to capture the Inspire Championship, she's returned her attention to the rest of the division... determined to remind every single one of them that she's the best there is. Golden Tigress has fallen in her sights now... likely for the same reason as so many others. Tigress is quite quick on her feet... and though she seems to be very much NOT the crowd-pleasing type, she's still shown some impressive athleticism since her debut. Adrenaline Rush in the main event? You're not seeing things... the Avian Assassins, though, will be out to bring down the team that's finally started to put their pieces together. Silver Hawk, however, may not be as focused on this match as he is on the Top Prospect match at Proving Ground #43... could that be a factor?

Nothing left between us and the big shows. Title matches abound after tonight... two weeks, four shows of absolute chaos where championships are concerned, kicking off next week with Showdown #42 and the World Championship match between Firehawk and the Black Dragon. But first... a look at tonight. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/482554343Youtube: youtu.be/7bua9vzNUIcQuick Results Felice Santana def. Layla Al-Amin Hugo Dirksen def. Kyle Anderson Candace Monroe def. Nicole Blade The GOAT def. Winter Fresh Ruthless Nicole Alger def. Donna Nobel Akira Ryusaki def. Avery Adonis Alexander Golden Tigress def. Titania The Avian Assassins def. Adrenaline Rush Write-ups Truly superlative performance from Felice Santana here, who just keeps getting better and better, scoring a victory (albeit taking three Santana Skies to finish the job). Still, Felice looks like she could be destined for real greatness before too long with a win like this. Hugo Dirksen remains absolutely relentless in the ring... and cares nothing about what the future might hold for Kyle Anderson. Still, this one was hard-fought... and Kyle, despite the defeat, could be looking at a solid run in Warrior Pro. Within the opening minute, Nicole Blade had cut Candace open with a series of knees. The first half of the match absolutely belonged to Nicole... but Candace just kept fighting, refusing to quit right up until she nailed a flying kick that finally kept Nicole down and gave Candace a major victory going into the Limbtakers' title defense in two weeks. Absolutely wild tag action here. Winter Fresh proved much more resilient than anticipated, but Victor would ultimately finish the job here with the Shotgun, keeping Fresh Suzuki down for the three-count after an intense match. RNA lived up to her name tonight. It seemed like she was absolutely, 100% determined to finish this with the Ruthless Armripper, and she damn well did it... even if it took quite a few tries to finish the job. By the end of the match Donna Nobel's arms were a wreck... but she should be able to recover in the two weeks before the Blades are set to challenge for the tag titles. AAA was in a foul mood tonight, clearly, still reeling from the defeat in Lightning Pro late last week. He laid into Akira hard in the opening half, but Akira finally found the strength to fight back... and eventually, despite interference from Gary Gear, nailed a Pole Shift Flowsion to finish the match and keep the Muscle Machines frustrated. We may have found Titania's weakness... she's quick to underestimate an opponent, and she did just that against Golden Tigress. The mysterious woman was a real dynamo in this match, and eventually scored an out-of-the-blue Superkick to bring down Titania, picking up the biggest upset of the night. Adrenaline Rush continues to look solid as a team, but the Avian Assassins showed no quit, and refused to back down. It was solid teamwork the whole way through... but a wild brawl in the corner of Adrenaline Rush led to Fuego taking care of Nitro, while Silver Hawk went to work on Tommy Thunder... and scored the pin while Nitro was still down, keeping his momentum rolling into his challenge for the Top Prospect Championship in two weeks.

Before I go to bed for the night from an immensely ill-advised day that saw me operating on about maybe an hour and a half of sleep and copious amounts of caffeine just to endure (because I am a master of making really stupid life decisions), let's get Showdown's card up... the last one before the Grand Ascension. Listalva Anne Heyward vs. Selisha
The Wild West vs. Les Beautes Blondes (Michelle/Elise)
Shiana Sentarl vs. Haruka Matsura
Angel Leblanc vs. Emma Travers
Fenix Oscuro vs. Eri Sentarl
Besos vs. Mascara Avispa for the Pacific Northwest Championship
The Rising Storm vs. Silver and Black Attack (Kileas/Winifred) for the Phoenix Rising Tag Team Championships
The Black Dragon vs. Firehawk Sentarl for the Phoenix Rising World ChampionshipOne advantage to no longer being the Pacific Northwest Champion: Listalva Anne Heyward is able to rejoin the fray against the Malevolent Triad. With Kaelara on a short hiatus (what with the tournament coming up and her life suddenly becoming much, much busier), Listalva's stepped in to help Eri against the hated trio... and she'll square off with Selisha, a battle of Naga Queen vs. Queen Anne...
Elise Pichon finally stepping back into a Phoenix Rising ring as a competitor? Sure enough... with Angel otherwise preoccupied this week, Michelle Rochefort will stand alongside Elise for the first time in quite some time... but it's not going to be an easy night, as they'll be staring down perhaps one of the most dangerous teams in the company, the Wild West, the Marshalls...
Round two of the fight against the Malevolent Triad shifts to Shiana Sentarl... the matriarch of the Sentarl family fell in defeat to Oscuro last Showdown, a stunning upset that could have deep ramifications. But this week, Shiana sets her sights on Haruka Matsura... and she'll be looking to regain her momentum going into the Grand Ascension. She's going to need it.
Angel Leblanc was furious last Showdown when a perceived slight from head referee Emma Travers seemingly cost her a win against the Black Dragon. Angel insists she had the World Champion beaten... and thanks to blaming Emma for this loss, she's challenged the part-time wrestler to a match, in a Showdown ring! Emma, however, is no pushover... she's certainly not the timid young woman that first stepped into a Proving Ground ring months ago. Training under Rilantha De Nav and the Blackwood Academy, Emma could very well shock the world if she pulls off the win here...
Once again, it comes down to this. Two hated rivals, Eri vs. Oscuro, a feud that seems endless... Nine months ago, they stepped into a cage at New Year's Bash and came out of it seemingly done with their war. But it's only begun to escalate once again... and Eri will have to score the win here if she ever hopes to dispel the spectre of Oscuro over her entire career.
The first championship match of three... the Pacific Northwest Championship is on the line, as new champion Besos squares off with a true ace of his craft in Mascara Avispa. There's no telling how this match may go... but expect Besos to come prepared for anything.
The Phoenix Rising Tag Team Championships found their way to the Rising Storm mostly out of chance. An injury to Kileas forced the titles to be vacated... and the Rising Storm took advantage, winning the championships the very next episode. But now, Kileas and Winifred are owed a rematch for the titles they never lost... do the Rising Storm have what it takes to shut them down?
Here we go, people... this one's the big one. The Black Dragon faces maybe the biggest match of her championship reign, now approaching one year in length... with Firehawk Sentarl already scoring one win over the reigning champion, can he repeat the incredible feat? Or will the Dragon go into the Grand Ascension still the unstoppable force of nature she's always been? Blackrose has shown that the Dragon is indeed mortal... but will that be enough to tip the odds in Firehawk's favor?

One hell of a night to kick of what's going to be a truly chaotic week. The first night of championship chaos has wrapped up... three championship matches, and a hell of a lot of action among them. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/485679372Youtube: youtu.be/IAGSVmQPKxoQuick Results Selisha def. Listalva Anne Heyward Les Beautes Blondes def. The Wild West Shiana Sentarl def. Haruka Matsura Emma Travers def. Angel Leblanc Eri Sentarl def. Fenix Oscuro Besos def. Mascara Avispa to retain the Pacific Northwest Championship Silver and Black Attack (Kileas/Winifred) def. The Rising Storm to become the NEW Phoenix Rising Tag Team Champions The Black Dragon def. Firehawk Sentarl to retain the Phoenix Rising World Championship Write-ups The night got off to a rough start for those fighting against the Malevolent Triad... despite throwing everything she had at Selisha, the Naga Queen endured it all, and eventually fired back with a twisting submission that gave Queen Anne no choice but to submit. A rare in-ring appearance by Elise Pichon, and she seemed to carry the team to victory, showing impressive strength throughout the match as she threw Lance around the ring. The Blondes picked up the win here, but their night wasn't yet over... There can be no doubt that Shiana Sentarl is looking to get herself back on track as one of the top stars of Phoenix Rising, and her performance against Haruka here went a long way towards helping that. Fresh off a win over Yuriko Masamune at L&L 9, she came out swinging here as well, and eventually put this one away with a Slingblade. Of course Emma Travers didn't come alone for this match... with Elise and Michelle at ringside, Emma was determined to even the odds, bringing her mentor and fellow student along with her. With that support, Emma scored maybe the most shocking victory of the night... taking Angel down and scoring a massive upset, something she'll be able to carry back to the Academy with her on Saturday with pride. There were mind-games in play even before the opening bell. Oscuro didn't come to the ring alone... only a lone figure standing at ringside, a masked woman that looked eerily like Eri herself. But the Little Phoenix wasn't swayed by the seemingly veiled threat... eventually laying Oscuro out with a sharp superkick, and picking up the win. Still... who was under that mask? What is Oscuro's goal? And just what the hell does this mean for their continuing feud? The first championship match of the night was one that many thought couldn't possibly go in favor of the champion... but Besos was determined to prove everyone wrong from the start. She endured everything Avispa had to throw at her... gave this match everything she had, and ultimately, scored the win in the only fashion that matters... with BESOS! BESOS! BESOS! STILL THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST CHAMPION! The former champions, the pair forced to vacate due to the injury of Kileas Kintelas, were granted a shot at the Rising Storm right away upon Kileas's return... and they showed that they might be the single most dominant team in Phoenix Rising. Despite Xiu Mei Li doing what she could to try and take Kileas out of the fight, it was Kileas that ended this one with the King Cobra Hold, forcing Anahera to submit in the center of the ring, and bringing the titles back to where they belong... The Dragon was perhaps expecting less of a struggle here tonight... but Firehawk pushed the World Champion to her absolute limit. Nearly every single move in Firehawk's arsenal came out during the course of this all-out brawl, and still the Black Dragon just kept coming... and the signs were perhaps clear that this wasn't going to be Firehawk's night, as the one move that he's never been threatened by suddenly came back to haunt him, that Dragon's Breath fireball ultimately being the move that ended this match, and kept the title firmly around the Dragon's waist. She'll go into the Grand Ascension still the champion... and her reign will eclipse the one-year mark, a truly, utterly, dominant reign at the top. But the other story coming out of this match was the way that Dragon wasted little time celebrating... and made her way backstage unusually quickly. Backstage... Chaos erupted in the hallways, the Malevolent Triad once again laying waste to anyone that dared to be in the way as they carved a path of chaotic destruction through the building. And their goal seemed clear... Eri had embarrassed Oscuro once again, and she wasn't going to get away with it this time. They'd cornered the Little Phoenix... and the mysterious masked woman that stood at ringside stood by them, never taking her gaze away from Eri, as the others closed in. Eri sprang to life... dealt a sharp punch to Haruka, turned, a kick to Selisha... and then Oscuro stepped in and drove Eri into the wall behind her. <No one to save you. No one to come to your aid this time. Look at her...> Oscuro gave a quick motion back to the mystery woman behind them. <And look at your future. Fénix CaÃdo . Fallen... at my hands.>
Eri tried to shove Oscuro away from herself, though she had indeed locked eyes with the mysterious woman... why did she look so much like Eri? How did this even come to be? But her attention snapped away from the so-called "Fénix CaÃdo ", because another figure was storming down the hallway... one with the Phoenix Rising World Championship still resting over her shoulder, though the championship quickly fell to the floor as the Black Dragon roared into the fray.
The Triad scattered. As the Dragon turned to face them once more, they spread out, Oscuro waving off the fourth woman... who slipped away as Haruka, Selisha and Oscuro stared down the World Champion. "Champion or not... Dragon or not... three-on-one you're no match."
"You can sure as hell try me." Dragon stepped forward... and the Triad hesitated. "But you'd better turn around first... because I think your math's just a bit wrong."
Sure enough... Dragon was no longer alone. Firehawk was the first to arrive... followed closely by Shiana and Listalva, and suddenly, the odds didn't look so good for the Triad. "What the hell do you care about her..." Oscuro practically spit the words at the Dragon.
"That's none of your fucking business. Walk away." Dragon stared down each of them... and when they didn't react as quickly as she'd wanted, she let out a terrifying roar, and let loose a fireball much like the one she'd just gotten through using in the ring... and that was what it took to finally get the Triad to retreat.
Firehawk had picked up the discarded World Championship, and handed it back to its rightful owner. "Guessed something was off when you were so quick to get back here... you knew."
"Kid's becoming predictable..." Dragon growled softly. "C'mon, up you go..." She effortlessly lifted Eri to her feet, then glanced to the others. "Keep an eye on that group. I don't know what they're after but I don't like it. Time I stopped sitting back and watching this shit go down." The Dragon slung her championship back over her shoulder... and quietly walked away from the group, leaving only Listalva questioning... just what was all of that about?

Three shows left for the month of September... one of which was already posted in the Academy thread, for this Saturday. But before we get to that... Thursday sees Evergreen rolling into town once again, with both of its titles on the line, and BOY HOWDY DO WE HAVE A COUPLE OF TITLE MATCHES LINED UP FOR THE HARDCORE CROWD Babe Ruthless vs. Elly Blackwood
Rebecca Andrews and Veronika Armstrong vs. Kevin Royce and Mercy Devine
Concrete Pete vs. Zack Sheridan
Luci vs. El Evergringo
Ash Defiant vs. Sayaka Saito
Skidmark vs. Julian Shepard
The Bingo Hall Mutants vs. Kantar and Tasharun for the Evergreen Tag Team Championships
Eternamente Verde vs. Strawberry Sookie for the Evergreen Championship We kick off the night with one of the most dominant women in the entire Phoenix Rising organization... Elly Blackwood steps into the ring once more, this time to take on Babe Ruthless, who has to be looking to knock off the undefeated, Invincible powerhouse. But that's a feat that could be beyond the entire Evergreen roster, at this point... What's this? Kevin Royce and Mercy Devine are back as a team? Even after what happened the last time they tried this? Sure enough, this is happening... and against Rebecca Andrews and Veronika Armstrong, no less, switching things up as they look to get back on track. Sayaka Saito's recent success sees her potentially being the breakout singles star going forward... Zack Sheridan, left without his brother and tag partner, will go it alone here against one hell of a big boy in Concrete Pete. Although Pete dropped his match against Skidmark last time out, he'll be looking to get himself back on top with a win over the brash young Sheridan... will Zack's raw technique and talent be enough to handle the sheer GIRTH of this man?! While Luci wasn't able to avenge the other members of eMo, she's sticking around regardless to continue supporting the group... Sookie in particular. And this week, she takes on a man that... in all honesty... probably shouldn't be back in the ring already. But El Evergringo insists he's good to go... and, well, Mercy's not exactly eager to stop him, even if she was a bit vindictive towards the one responsible for injuring him in the first place... Sayaka Saito is looking to keep her solid run going against Ash Defiant this week... but Ash might be on a completely different level from the opponents Sayaka's found herself against as of late. As good as she's been... is it going to be enough? Julian Shepard's the next man to take a crack at Evergreen's OTHER big man in Skidmark. After a slightly rough debut, Skidmark bounced back with a big win over Concrete Pete... and now he sets his sights on a former Evergreen Champion, who's fallen on hard times since losing the championship. You likely saw this coming a mile away... but that doesn't make the announcement any less of a shock. Yes... Kantar's found his backup as he prepares to challenge for the Evergreen Tag Team Championships... and the Bingo Hall Mutants could finally meet their match as they step into the ring with not one, but TWO demons... as TASHARUN has arrived in Evergreen, potentially to stay! Strawberry Sookie has been waiting for this one. She's getting her shot at the Evergreen Championship... a chance to take home the gold, a chance to stand at the top of Evergreen and avenge every single injustice that's been brought against eMo! But Eternamente Verde has defended this title with a ferocity unmatched among the entire roster... and we could very well see a legitimate bloodbath before the night is over. BUT THAT'S NOT ALL, AS AFTER THURSDAY, AFTER SATURDAY, WE COME TO THE FINAL SHOW OF SEPTEMBER WITH PROVING GROUND #43! Victor Kintelas vs. Tommy Thunder
The Muscle Machines vs. Layla Al-Amin and La Relampaga
Kellaron Sentarl vs. Nic Nitro
Titania vs. Felice Santana
Akira Ryusaki vs. Kyle Anderson
The Limbtakers vs. The Excellent Blades for the Proving Ground Tag Team Championships
SATOMI vs. Reina Del Tigre for the Inspire Championship
Todd Colton vs. Silver Hawk vs. Golden Tiger for the Top Prospect ChampionshipWe open things up on Proving Ground with a former Top Prospect and Proving Ground Tag Team Champion in Victor Kintelas... taking on one half of Adrenaline Rush, with Tommy Thunder needing a big win to keep the team from sliding back into a frustrating hole. It won't be the only time we see Adrenaline Rush on this show...
But first, the Muscle Machines have themselves quite the contest. It'll be power against speed... muscular against lean and agile. Perhaps the single most dynamic team that Proving Ground's ever assembled... Layla Al-Amin joins forces with La Relampaga and could very well deliver the fastest-paced tag match in Proving Ground's history!
Kellaron Sentarl won't be left out of the party as he steps into the ring across from Nic Nitro... and Adrenaline Rush will hope that this match leads to a 2-0 night for them. Still... that won't be an easy feat, given that the team calls themselves (or, well, Hana calls them it anyway) THE GOAT.
Titania's been beyond frustrated lately. A loss to Golden Tigress last week, failure to capture the Inspire Championship before that... the shadow of her defeat by Felice Santana still hangs over her head, and she's had enough. Now could be the best opportunity... or perhaps, the worst, as Felice is showing new life, new skills, new impressive talents week after week, and she's coming off a victory of a lifetime over Layla Al-Amin...
Akira Ryusaki just keeps impressing everyone, week after week. But Kyle Anderson, although with a less-than-sterling record, has been putting on absolute clinics in the ring every time he steps out there. Nothing much else to say here... this one's probably gonna steal the show.
The first championship match of the night will be the Proving Ground Tag Team Championship faceoff between the Limbtakers and the Excellent Blades... a match over a month in the making, a match that's perhaps been destined to happen for far, far longer than that. These two teams have had bad blood between them for perhaps over a year... and now, with the championships on the line, all four women are sure to step up their game in a big way.
SATOMI has looked nigh-unstoppable since her debut on Proving Ground. She quickly captured the Inspire Championship, and since then, she's fended off every single challenger that's come her way... but now, she'll have to tap into that once again as Reina del Tigre seeks to dethrone the woman who could be one of the single most dominant Inspire Champions ever.
This is not the match Todd Colton wanted to see. Not only did Silver Hawk earn his shot at the Top Prospect Championship by winning that battle royal, but that same night, Golden Tiger defeated the champion himself... and so, we find ourselves with a 3-way match, with only one man leaving Proving Ground as the Top Prospect. Can Todd get past this challenge? With the deck so heavily stacked against him... the champion could falter... or he could surge higher than ever, and go into the Grand Ascension still a champion.

A message from the Bingo Hall Mutants Rampage Rage: Here we are at Evergreen's home base, right out here in the parking lot before the show. Skullface and I been out here with the Evergreen die hards, the headcases who show up here all the time for the realest hardcore wrestling on the West Coast. Usually, we come out here, they wanna get a pass to the post show party, and if they're real cool, we might oblige. But tonight, things ain't quite as laid back as they usually are. People stayin' clear of us tonight, because they can tell, this ain't the usual check collect.
Skullface Killah: This time, we're at war!
Rampage: Damn straight, Skullface, we got two certified beast mode badasses locked and loaded and ready to give us hell! Kantar, we know how bad that man is, he kicked both our asses in the one on one! Hell, he pretty much ran through all us Philly boys! And Tasharun, people say he's even badder than Kantar! So this time round, we ain't goin' out there to squash some kids half our size. This time, we gotta dig deep, look back at twenty friggin' years of hardcore wrestling and get ourselves psyched up because if we can't get hyped and thrilled for this match, ain't nothin' gonna do the trick! And if we manage to go out there and bloody them up, kick their asses and kill them dead...
Skullface: Kill them dead!
Rampage: Then we ain't just East Coast hardcore legends, we ain't just West Coast hardcore legends, if we win this match tonight, nobody can deny we're all time greats at this team thing! We know Evergreen's ready to get two of their own on top of the heap, Skullface and I ain't as stupid as we look! No problemo, you guys wanna have your own runnin' wild, holdin' the gold, all good, no hard feelings here. No matter what, unless they ring Skullface's thick skull so badly he can't do jack, you're still gonna get all the ribs and beer after the show that you want, Mercy! And same goes for you, Kantar, Tasharun, you know you're good for the BBQ, no matter what goes down! But that don't mean a damn thing in the ring. Just 'cause we're cool after the show doesn't mean we're handing our belts over to play nice, get that? Because if you don't, we're gonna show you just what a pair of old school Philly wreckers can do to anyone who thinks they can run us down!
Skullface: We'll crush you good! Tenderize you! And we'll keep our belts! Philly Style!
Rampage: Just what he said, you heard it, we'll fight our fight...up to you to prove you if you can take what we got.

Evergreen came into the party with a longer show than usual... fitting, considering what we're gearing up for. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/486906261Youtube: youtu.be/Yxd6HEMgONgQuick Results Elly Blackwood def. Babe Ruthless Kevin Royce and Mercy Devine def. Veronika Armstrong and Rebecca Andrews Zack Sheridan def. Concrete Pete El Evergringo def. Luci Sayaka Saito def. Ash Defiant Julian Shepard def. Skidmark Kantar and Tasharun def. The Bingo Hall Mutants to become the NEW Evergreen Tag Team Champions Strawberry Sookie def. Eternamente Verde to become the NEW Evergreen Champion Write-ups One hell of an opener, in a match that nobody really expected to turn into such a brawl. Babe busted Elly open early on, evening the odds slightly, but Elly's raw power and skilled submission work eventually tipped things back in her favor, and she'd eventually take the win with a Cross Armbreaker to remain undefeated in Evergreen. Further struggles for the band from Oakland, as a surprisingly reunited Kevin and Mercy dominated most of this matchup, eventually leading to Kevin laying out Veronika with an Iron Claw Slam to finish the job. Zack Sheridan finally got a chance to show what he can really do... and he didn't hold anything back on the big man, Concrete Pete. A flying Tornado DDT settled this one nicely, and gave Zack a much-needed win... could he find himself shooting for a singles run? eMo just can't stay on their feet lately. El Evergringo, fresh off of his own return to the ring after being laid out by Vincent Sheridan, delivered a crushing blow to Luci... and once again, Strawberry Sookie found herself without anyone to back her up, no friends at her side... All-out war. That's all this was, Ash Defiant and Sayaka Saito delivering maybe the single most vicious match of the night. Weapons were put to great use here... Sayaka laying into Ash perhaps more times than necessary, and eventually, locked in a Full Nelson Camel Clutch to seal another impressive victory. Julian Shepard might be attempting to push his way back up the card with this win over Skidmark. Speed beat power this time around, and Julian finally picks up a win that he's needed for quite some time. It took a team the likes of which would make any sane person tremble to finally dethrone the Bingo Hall Mutants. Kantar's had his sights on gold for a while now... and with Tasharun suddenly making his way to Evergreen, reuniting one of the most frightening tag teams in Phoenix Rising's entire organization, even the Mutants couldn't endure the onslaught in the end... and a Triple Powerbomb from Kantar sealed it. Another all-out brawl between Verde and Sookie... with nothing to lose, everything to gain, nobody to cheer her on, Sookie still didn't back down... and after a hard-fought brawl that saw damn near everything thrown out between the two, Sookie locked in a vicious facelock... reminiscent of the one that the World Champion Black Dragon uses... and scored a tapout, giving us a NEW Evergreen Champion!

It's all wrapped up... the last show of September, of the championship chaos, the last show before the Grand Ascension begins. The tournament starts next Monday. Get ready for something unlike anything Phoenix Rising's ever done before. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/488669562Youtube: youtu.be/MEulS8vHGcQQuick Results Victor Kintelas def. Tommy Thunder Layla Al-Amin and La Relampaga def. The Muscle Machines Kellaron Sentarl def. Nic Nitro Titania def. Felice Santana Akira Ryusaki def. Kyle Anderson The Limbtakers def. The Excellent Blades to retain the Proving Ground Tag Team Championships Reina del Tigre def. SATOMI to become the NEW Inspire Championship Todd Colton def. Silver Hawk and Golden Tiger to retain the Top Prospect Championship Write-ups Victor Kintelas started this show off with a bang... no hesitation, just a purely dominant performance from a former Top Prospect, and Adrenaline Rush continues to have trouble finding their footing. A brand-new team in Layla and Relampaga... and they made one hell of an impact, outplaying the Muscle Machines as Layla landed a big-time Cannonball Senton to put this match away and pick up the win. No doubt we'll be seeing more of this team after next month's tournament. Kellaron Sentarl was relentless... focused heavily on armwork, but when he couldn't secure the submission victory, a sharp kick to the head put Nic Nitro down for the pinfall, and the GOAT swept their pair of matches for the night. Titania had been looking for this match for some time now... and despite a new look, and a more experienced Felice, Titania absolutely crushed the young Dominican star this time around, avenging her prior defeat. Now the Blue Bomber will surely be hunting for bigger targets still... defeats to Nicole Blade and SATOMI are yet to be answered, and no doubt she'll seek to fix that soon enough. A matchup of two of the hardest-working men in Phoenix Rising... but Akira took the lead even as Kyle brought his overwhelming power to bear. Still, Akira finished this one off in style... a submission victory that continues Kyle's struggles in his home fed, even as he seems primed to dominate in Warrior Pro. The first championship match of the night lived up to every expectation. The Limbtakers fought as hard as they could to retain their titles... the Excellent Blades fought to take them from the newly-crowned champions in their first defense. But it wouldn't be a submission that did the job tonight... instead, RNA stole one of Donna Nobel's biggest moves, and finished the job with it, scoring an incredible victory... and retaining the Proving Ground Tag Team Championships. SATOMI went into this match as maybe one of the most dominant Inspire Champions ever... but at the end of the night, Reina del Tigre stood up and left the champion down and out, claiming the Inspire Championship for herself. SATOMI gave this one her all, but Reina's Queen Tiger Suplex proved the decisive blow... and the Inspire Championship changes hands once more. Few considered the possibility of Todd Colton coming out of this match still the champion... but that's exactly what happened, despite a vicious Tigerdriver driving the champion down on his neck. Todd fought back into this one slowly but surely... and when Silver Hawk eliminated Golden Tiger with a quick roll-up, Todd eventually landed his signature Binding Suplex to finish the job on Silver Hawk, picking up a win and remaining the Top Prospect as the Grand Ascension approaches. Todd Colton "People just keep doubting. Two opponents instead of one, there's no way he'll retain the title this time! And yet, here I am, STILL the Top Prospect, STILL the best that Proving Ground's got, STILL the man that nobody, NOBODY has what it takes against! You can stack whatever you want against me, but I will keep proving you wrong for as long as it takes... because I am, without a doubt, the best around here. And you're not gonna get rid of me that easily."

Well, here we go. Next Monday, the biggest event maybe in Phoenix Rising's history (again!) begins. This time... I'm not sure anything else can come back to top it, though. The Grand Ascension is just a few days away and it's gonna consume every bit of October... save for an Evergreen or two, and some Academy work. (As a small reminder, this is a G-1 style round-robin tournament: seven nights spread out across October. Two blocks, eight matches per show. A Pacific Northwest Championship match will occur on Night Four, as well as the final night.) Night One shakes out like this: Lance Marshall vs. Mercy Devine
Chico Con Carne vs. Angel Leblanc
Kileas Kintelas vs. Todd Colton
Kantar vs. Firehawk Sentarl
Rumika Hashi vs. The Black Dragon
Blake Dynamite vs. Urani Whitemist
Anahera vs. Laenara Kintelas
Main Event: Layla Al-Amin vs. Shiana Sentarl
We'll open the tournament with perhaps one of the biggest mismatches in Block B. Lance Marshall, a major star of Showdown, a former World Champion, taking on the boss of Evergreen, Mercy Devine... and Mercy could easily regret her decision to show up for this tournament instead of, say, Kevin Royce. Too late to back out now, though...
Chico Con Carne steps into a Phoenix Rising ring for the first time ever, following after his brother and sister (Rey de la Carne and Besos, of course.) He's got quite the tall order to begin with, though, as he takes on Angel Leblanc... and while Angel may still be reeling from a stunning loss against Emma Travers, no doubt she'll be even more motivated to show the Phoenix Rising crowd that she's no joke.
Todd Colton's first match against a member of Showdown... and he runs into the Alpha Villain, one-half of the Phoenix Rising Tag Team Champions, and one of the most enduring stars around in Kileas Kintelas. The Top Prospect was impressive in defending his title this past Monday... but Kileas could be on a completely different level, far beyond what Todd's faced on Proving Ground...
Kantar's return to Phoenix Rising starts with a bang. Firehawk Sentarl will be his first opponent... and Kantar's looking to topple the founder, the boss, the man who came this close to becoming World Champion once again... only to fall short. Firehawk will surely have something to prove here, but Kantar's certainly not the same man that struggled in Phoenix Rising... he is the demon of Evergreen, and a monster in his own right now.
Rumika Hashi might almost be used to this sort of match. Considering she shares a roster with the monster that is Crusher Honda, the Black Dragon might just be another day at the office for the Soaring Sparrow, as she makes her Phoenix Rising debut.
Talk about a size mismatch. Blake Dynamite has always been just on the verge of a huge breakout... and this tournament could be the push he needs to take that bigger step. Still... with his first match being against the Titan, Urani Whitemist, he'll need to bring everything in his dangerous arsenal to pull this one off...
It's the moment that many people have been waiting for... and nobody more than the Hardcore Princess herself. Laenara Kintelas returns to the ring for the first time since her frightening injury at the hands of Blackrose's Lash, and she sets her sights on the Maori Warrior, Anahera. Still, Anahera more than has what it takes to spoil the young woman's return...
Our final match is one that Layla Al-Amin is very deeply looking forward to. The Proving Ground superstar steps into the ring with the Queen of Phoenix Rising... as Shiana Sentarl looks to start off the tournament strong, and prove she's still got what it takes to perform at the very highest level in Phoenix Rising. Could we be seeing the rebirth of Shiana as this tournament progresses? Or will she finally fall off and show that the dream may finally be over?

Night One is finished... lemme tell you, it's great to finally get this thing under way, although I'm not quite finished with all the work just yet. Still three full nights I gotta record... but that's one down, and we're off and running. (Be advised, watching the VoD... the opening of Match #4, Kantar vs. Firehawk, had some weird technical issues crop up and I have absolutely no idea what caused them. I'm not even speaking in a sort of "kayfabe" here, I legit don't know what the hell happened with it, my computer decided to revolt or something. I dunno.) Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/491725858Youtube: youtu.be/KRGQuAzMQIQQuick Results Lance Marshall def. Mercy Devine Chico Con Carne def. Angel Leblanc Kileas Kintelas def. Todd Colton Kantar def. Firehawk Sentarl The Black Dragon def. Rumika Hashi Blake Dynamite def. Urani Whitemist Anahera def. Laenara Kintelas Shiana Sentarl def. Layla Al-Amin Write-ups A truly wild opener, especially given that nobody anticipated this match to be anything more than Lance wiping out the Evergreen boss. But Mercy was far from a pushover here: busting Lance open early, and absolutely taking the fight to him right up until the end, where a huge Lariat finally put this one to rest. Chico Con Carne's first appearance in a Phoenix Rising ring couldn't have gone much better than this. Maybe one of the best matches of the night, Angel Leblanc did what she could to keep up with her luchador opponent, but Chico just kept up his relentless offense, wrapping things up with a Destroyer dead-center. If anyone doubted that Todd Colton could hold his own against the upper echelon, look no further than this match. Although the Top Prospect ultimately lost to Kileas, it was far from a sure thing... still, Todd will be hoping to bounce back sooner rather than later. After some... strange technical issues, we got this match under way properly... and although Firehawk seemed to break out every last bit of his arsenal, Kantar simply would not be denied, eventually taking the victory... some would say, a major upset. Rumika Hashi did not back down in the face of the World Champion. And while Dragon did eventually take the win here, Rumika certainly did a lot of work trying to wear her down with those devastating kicks... a Reverse Chokeslam putting her down, but Rumika could be poised for a major run in the tournament regardless. Who could've possibly seen this coming? Blake Dynamite stepped into the ring with the Titan... giving up a massive size and power difference, and yet at the end of the night... it was Blake who came away with the win, dishing out every single bit of his dynamic offense, staying one step ahead and ultimately, picking up the upset of the night. Laenara Kintelas's return to the ring was spoiled somewhat by Anahera... who showed absolutely no sign of caring who Lae was or how long she'd been away. Six months... perhaps a little bit of rust, and a huge Spinning Tombstone, and Anahera picks up the win here, while Laenara looks to re-focus herself going into the second night. Capped off by a main event that felt like it never slowed down. Layla Al-Amin was her usual high-octane self... trying to keep up a relentless pace against Shiana, who just wouldn't stop coming. While Layla managed to fight her way out of a Superkick, and endured much of what Shiana had to offer, she made the mistake of trying for a high-risk move in the corner... and Shiana's veteran instincts kicked in for a quick roll-up counter off the top rope, giving her the impressive victory. Our next show will be on Thursday, and for the sake of keeping things contained... here's the card for that show. Firehawk Sentarl (0-1) vs. Layla Al-Amin (0-1)
Mercy Devine (0-1) vs. Laenara Kintelas (0-1)
Kantar (1-0) vs. Chico Con Carne (1-0)
Todd Colton (0-1) vs. Rumika Hashi (0-1)
Urani Whitemist (0-1) vs. Angel Leblanc (0-1)
Lance Marshall (1-0) vs. Kileas Kintelas (1-0)
Shiana Sentarl (1-0) vs. Blake Dynamite (1-0)
Anahera (1-0) vs. The Black Dragon (1-0) The records lining up like that is 100% coincidental, I assure you. :P

Night Two's wrapped, but there's not much time to relax... nights three and four will be happening this Saturday and Monday, before we give the tournament a moment to breathe. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/492983656Youtube: youtu.be/2IqutP6j54QQuick Results Firehawk Sentarl def. Layla Al-Amin Laenara Kintelas def. Mercy Devine Kantar def. Chico Con Carne Rumika Hashi def. Todd Colton Angel Leblanc def. Urani Whitemist Kileas Kintelas def. Lance Marshall Blake Dynamite def. Shiana Sentarl The Black Dragon def. Anahera Write-ups Layla's had a tough run of it in her first two matches, taking on both of the Sentarls in the tournament... but, if nothing else, she certainly gave it her all here again, even if back-to-back Superkicks put this one away in Firehawk's favor. Now this is what Laenara's been after. After a bit of a rough start in a loss to Anahera, Laenara Kintelas came roaring back with a hell of a brawl against Mercy Devine, finishing the job with the Kintelas Driver. The Hardcore Princess is back in action, now... how will the rest of her run look? For as much of a monster as Kantar is, Chico Con Carne didn't back down... even after Kantar seemed out to prove a point by doing a Destroyer of his own, before eventually putting this one away with his Triple Powerbomb. Still... Chico did not go quietly here. Two of the best pure talents in the whole tournament clashed here... but Rumika slowly seemed to pull away, stealing the Destroyer for her own, and eventually knocking Todd senseless with a question mark kick for the win. What the hell was Angel Leblanc running on tonight? We don't know for sure, but the leader of Les Beautes Blondes landed multiple German suplexes here, and pulled off a colossal upset... the Titan is, shockingly, 0-2 to start the tournament! Kileas Kintelas looks like he's on a mission in this tournament. Taking on one of the most impressive men in Phoenix Rising, he made it look easy... taking down Lance Marshall en route to finishing him with a vicious Shotgun, followed by an Implant DDT. Kileas could be a front-runner for Block B... right behind the Black Dragon. A rematch from earlier this year, unfortunately ended much the same way for the Queen of Phoenix Rising. Shiana once again just couldn't keep pace with Blake, who put this match away with his signature Double Lotation Moonsault... and Blake, surprisingly, now sits at 2-0. Anahera truly gave this the best fight she could... but the Dragon slowly but surely turned up the ferocity, getting more and more vicious with every passing moment before busting the Maori Warrior wide open, and finishing her with the vicious facelock submission that's won her so many matches as World Champion. Night Three to come on Saturday night, at the usual time. Chico Con Carne (1-1) vs. Urani Whitemist (0-2)
The Black Dragon (2-0) vs. Todd Colton (0-2)
Layla Al-Amin (0-2) vs. Kantar (2-0)
Lance Marshall (1-1) vs. Laenara Kintelas (1-1)
Angel Leblanc (1-1) vs. Shiana Sentarl (1-1)
Mercy Devine (0-2) vs. Rumika Hashi (1-1)
Blake Dynamite (2-0) vs. Firehawk Sentarl (1-1)
Main Event: Kileas Kintelas (2-0) vs. Anahera (1-1)

Three nights down, four to go. Monday brings us night 4, and then the tournament takes a week-long break so I can A. record the rest of what's left and B. fucking take my mind off of it for a little while because hoo boy this may have been a huge mistake in hindsight? we'll see Also, minor change to the card happened on the fly: Matches 2 and 4 got swapped, so if things look wonky below, that's why. Todd vs. Dragon deserved a better spot than second match of the night OK? Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/493886942Youtube: youtu.be/6603k6RfSZoQuick Results Urani Whitemist def. Chico Con Carne Laenara Kintelas def. Lance Marshall Kantar def. Layla Al-Amin The Black Dragon def. Todd Colton Shiana Sentarl def. Angel Leblanc Rumika Hashi def. Mercy Devine Firehawk Sentarl def. Blake Dynamite Kileas Kintelas def. Anahera Write-ups Hell of an effort from Chico against the Titan, but Urani was clearly determined not to fall to 0-3 here... an Ushi-goroshi, and that familiar drop of the elbow, and Urani's finally on the board with a win. If there were any doubts about Laenara Kintelas, this match surely wiped them all out. This was an all-out brawl to the finish... both of them trading finishers clear up to the end, but it was a moonsault from Lae that put this one away for a huge win. Kantar's path of destruction through the tournament continues... moving to 3-0 after wiping out Layla Al-Amin. It's not clear if anyone has what it takes to stop him now... could we be looking at Kantar in the finals? Challenging for the World Championship in two months? Todd Colton may not yet have a win to his credit... but it sure as hell hasn't been for lack of trying. He gave the Dragon perhaps her toughest match since becoming champion... and although he ultimately tapped out to that dangerous facelock, he did some serious damage in the process. A loss, but not one he can hang his head over. Old rivals rekindling their feud once again... Angel and Shiana have never seen eye-to-eye, and once again they squared off here... but once again it seemed like Shiana has Angel's number, taking her out with a sudden Superkick and moving to 2-1, keeping her in the hunt. Even being busted open early wasn't going to stop Rumika from doing what she does best. The Soaring Sparrow has bounced back from her night 1 loss against the Dragon, and now sits at 2-1... very much still in the hunt and very much still a threat to anyone left in Block B. Firehawk Sentarl clearly had no patience tonight. This was as decisive a victory as we've seen in the tournament thus far... and while Blake's looked good to this point, he'll need to re-focus in a big way to recover from this one. Anahera never goes quietly... and she certainly didn't here, either, bouncing back up from a number of finishers and even dealing out a Shotgun of her own. But Kileas eventually took control... and a Tigerdriver puts the Alpha Villain at 3-0, matching the World Champion. Night Four's card will shake out like this. Kantar (3-0) vs. Blake Dynamite (2-1)
Rumika Hashi (2-1) vs. Kileas Kintelas (3-0)
Shiana Sentarl (2-1) vs. Urani Whitemist (1-2)
Laenara Kintelas (2-1) vs. The Black Dragon (3-0)
Firehawk Sentarl (2-1) vs. Angel Leblanc (1-2)
Anahera (1-2) vs. Lance Marshall (1-2)
Layla Al-Amin (0-3) vs. Chico Con Carne (1-2)
Haruka Matsura vs. Besos for the Pacific Northwest Championship
Main Event: Todd Colton (0-3) vs. Mercy Devine (0-3) Yes, that's right: an extra match on this show, with the Pacific Northwest Championship set to be defended! Besos takes on the challenger Haruka Matsura... and with Eri Sentarl waiting in the wings for the final night, both women will surely want to make it to that match and get the chance to face the Little Phoenix.

Four nights down, we're at (approximately) the halfway point. Three more nights of preliminaries... and then, the big final show. But for now, the tournament goes on a week-long hiatus, to get things loaded and wrapped for the rest of the month. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/494798121Youtube: youtu.be/J9dxDN8vtmoQuick Results Blake Dynamite def. Kantar Rumika Hashi def. Kileas Kintelas Urani Whitemist def. Shiana Sentarl The Black Dragon def. Laenara Kintelas Firehawk Sentarl def. Angel Leblanc Anahera def. Lance Marshall Layla Al-Amin def. Chico Con Carne Besos def. Haruka Matsura to retain the Pacific Northwest Championship Todd Colton def. Mercy Devine Write-ups With as many people expecting Kantar to go undefeated as we had, this was... practically inconceivable. But here we are... Blake Dynamite scores maybe the single biggest upset of the year, not just the tournament, takes down the unstoppable force from Evergreen, and puts himself in an incredible position to potentially win Block A. Kantar wouldn't be the only one who saw his undefeated record go up in smoke tonight... immediately afterwards, Rumika Hashi knocked off Kileas Kintelas and ensured that Block B was going to be a tough one to win. Rumika's in a fantastic position... and the outsider could very well pull this off, unless the Dragon continues her run... Shiana Sentarl never goes quietly. She gave this one just about everything she had... but Urani's overwhelming power finally seemed to tip the scales, and a crushing bearhug forced Shiana to give in, finally giving us a glimpse of what we know Urani can do... but can she keep it going through her final three matches? These two have history... perhaps not as opponents, but as partners, as friends, and certainly they set out to bring out the best of each other. Lae nearly took this one on a couple of occasions, but a Last of the Dragon finally put it away and kept the World Champion on top. Nobody can doubt that despite her lacking record thus far, Angel Leblanc can still hang with the upper echelon of Phoenix Rising, even without the backup of Michelle Rochefort and Elise Pichon. She just kept coming after Firehawk here... and although a Brainbuster put an end to it, Angel could find herself in a new light after this tournament's over. Lance Marshall has struggled this entire tournament to get things going. With losses to Kileas, Laenara and now Anahera, he just can't seem to find his footing... but no doubt this was a tournament highlight for Anahera, almost seeming to prove that she very well could've been World Champion if she'd challenged him while he still held the title... so long ago, now. The Cairo Cyclone is finally on the board. After a rough start to the tournament, Layla Al-Amin went move for move, flip for flip with Chico Con Carne, and pulled off her first victory of the tournament. She's certainly not out of the running yet... but, in all honesty, the Dragon isn't likely to lose her next three matches, and for all intents and purposes, Layla likely has little chance of victory now. Still... there is at least proof here that she may be able to handle her promotion to Showdown. Besos simply will not be denied. The Pacific Northwest Champion didn't back down for a second against Haruka Matsura, even trapping the ninja in BESOS! But it was a quick-thinking roll-up that scored the win for the champion here... and Besos goes on to defend her title once again at the final night of the tournament, against the next in line: Eri Sentarl. Here's the match Todd Colton's been after. Mercy Devine simply couldn't keep up... though she sure as hell tried, dishing out nearly her entire repertoire of moves and tactics, culminating in pulling out that familiar fork and making Todd's blood flow. Unfortunately for the Evergreen boss, Todd didn't take too kindly to it... and a crushing exploder put Mercy down, giving Todd his first win, and leaving Mercy as the only winless wrestler in the tournament. As mentioned previously, the tournament now goes on a short hiatus: Night 5 takes place next Monday. As a result, we've got a bit of a detour into Evergreen this Thursday... Luci vs. Rebecca Andrews
Concrete Pete vs. Sayaka Saito vs. Skidmark vs. Eddy Introspect
Zack Sheridan vs. Julian Shepard
Elly Blackwood vs. Veronika Armstrong
Vincent Sheridan issues an Open Challenge
Tasharun vs. Kevin Royce
Strawberry Sookie vs. El EvergringoWe kick off the night with Luci's return to the ring after El Evergringo took her out last time around. This time she sets her sights on Rebecca Andrews... and as Veronika's crew tries to salvage what they can from what's been a rough few months, they'll be looking for any wins they can scrape together.
A 4-way match here, early on... once again Concrete Pete and Skidmark find themselves in the same ring, but they're joined this time by Sayaka Saito and Eddy Introspect. All four will be out to raise their stock... a potential challenge towards the Evergreen Champion, with a win? It's hard to tell... especially if Eddy happens to be the one who wins this.
Zack Sheridan's raw talent has slowly been coming to the forefront as of late, but there's one man who can perhaps match him in that sense: Julian Shepard. Both haven't quite gotten their feet under them lately, but Zack will seek to take a big win over a slumping Julian.
Elly Blackwood has been nothing short of an absolute wrecking ball from day one. Veronika Armstrong, meanwhile, seeks to be the one to break Elly's undefeated streak in Evergreen... and halt her meteoric rise through the ranks. Still, this one won't be easy... Elly's been easily the single most dangerous woman in Evergreen for some time now, and perhaps even more of a threat than Kantar.
Vincent Sheridan's ego is well-documented at this point. No matter how many times you knock this man down, he keeps getting back up to shoot his mouth off once more... and this week, he's decided that anyone, ANYONE is welcome to come to the ring on Thursday night and take him on... first come... first served.
Tasharun made some serious waves when he arrived as Kantar's tag partner... and captured the Evergreen Tag Team Championships from the Bingo Hall Mutants, becoming the first team to take down the inaugural champions and finally claim the belts for a homegrown duo. Kevin Royce, however, isn't afraid of the Demon... he might be, after this match, though.
Strawberry Sookie shocked us all when she took down Eternamente Verde, and became the new Evergreen Champion. She won't have to defend that title right away... but El Evergringo has stepped up already, and no doubt Sookie will be out for blood, considering his hand in wiping out Luci recently, and stranding Sookie with nobody to stand at her side for her title match... a match she nevertheless won. But can Evergringo avenge his tag partner and earn the biggest chance of his career?
See everyone on Thursday. I'll post the Night 5 card after Evergreen airs.

This might've been Evergreen's best show in quite some time. Yes, including the championship show last time out. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/videos/496123613Youtube: youtu.be/6cAwx6rhJiEQuick Results Luci def. Rebecca Andrews Eddy Introspect def. Sayaka Saito, Concrete Pete and Skidmark Zack Sheridan def. Julian Shepard Elly Blackwood def. Veronika Armstrong THE PHANTOM THIEF def. Vincent Sheridan Kevin Royce def. Tasharun Strawberry Sookie def. El Evergringo Write-ups An absolutely wild opener that saw Rebecca dominate the opening minutes, taking the fight to Luci with uncharacteristic ferocity. But Luci eventually began to bite back... an Iron Claw cinched in tight drawing blood, and ultimately, Luci would manage to pick up a huge win to start the night strong for eMo. eMo's night just kept getting better from there. With Skidmark eliminated early on, that left Sayaka, Eddy and Concrete Pete to duke it out for quite some time... Sayaka managing to eliminate Pete before turning her attention to Eddy. But he would not go quietly, nor would he let Sayaka have the win... his signature Small Package Bomb sealing eMo's second win of the night. Zack Sheridan continues to impress. A combination of technical prowess and hardcore ferocity proved the order of the day, and while Julian did his best to fight back, Zack eventually laid him out with a sharp swinging DDT onto a discarded chair, and picked up the win. Elly Blackwood was purely dominant tonight. The Invincible One simply wiped Veronika out, despite the Oakland native's best efforts, and eventually Elly cinched in an armbar that forced a submission. Out of every possibility to challenge Vincent tonight, this was... decidedly NOT the name most would've guessed. And yet, months after simply disappearing from Phoenix Rising, the Phantom Thief returns in Evergreen, and proves he's still every bit the same threat as ever with a big win on his first night out. Who could've guessed this might happen? Kevin Royce came in the rare underdog here... staring down one-half of the new Evergreen Tag Team Champions, and not backing down an inch. A wild brawl broke out here... and eventually, Kevin's massive Super Bomb came into play, and showed the demon that as powerful as he is, he is still an outsider in Evergreen... and still perhaps one of the most dangerous men in the company. eMo's last match of the night was also its most dominant showing. Strawberry Sookie was simply unstoppable here, Evergringo unable to really get any proper momentum. There was simply no way for him to keep up with the Evergreen Champion... a performance that Sookie needed to establish herself, and passed with flying colors. Kevin Royce "Every accolade you've ever earned, every bit of reputation you might have, everything you've ever done outside these walls is meaningless the moment you step into an Evergreen ring. I don't care how strong you are, I don't care how many times you've been a world champion, I don't care if everyone thinks you're the second coming of Death himself. In that ring... the ring that I BUILT with my own hands, MY blood, MY SWEAT... it doesn't matter where you came from anymore. This is Evergreen, and I don't give a damn. You're not from around here... and that means you don't know what you're in for. But you'll learn. I won't be the only one that shows you what it's all about, Tasharun. This is just the beginning." Coming up Monday night, the Grand Ascension starts right back up and doesn't stop until it's all said and done. Night 5 comes this Monday, the 21st... Night 6 on Thursday, the 24th, and Night 7, the last of the preliminaries, on Saturday, the 26th. Then the finals will hit the following Monday, the 28th... and we'll know the fate of the big championship match at New Year's Bash. Here's the card for Night 5. Urani Whitemist (2-2) vs. Layla Al-Amin (1-3)
Todd Colton (1-3) vs. Lance Marshall (1-3) Chico Con Carne (1-3) vs. Firehawk Sentarl (3-1) Mercy Devine (0-4) vs. The Black Dragon (4-0) Shiana Sentarl (2-2) vs. Kantar (3-1) Rumika Hashi (3-1) vs. Anahera (2-2) Angel Leblanc (1-3) vs. Blake Dynamite (3-1) Main Event: Laenara Kintelas (2-2) vs. Kileas Kintelas (3-1)
