First two episodes of Better Call Saul season 5 have aired. Completely forgot about it until just now. I had forgotten about them too. Luckily my DVR still had the Series record option. It has been so long since season 4 but wow, I got right back into the world within 10 minutes of Episode 1. The first two episodes of the season are great. I watched them back to back. I'm hoping to watch Episode 3 this weekend. Lallo is an awesome addition to the series 😎 |

It has been so long since season 4 but wow, I got right back into the world within 10 minutes of Episode 1. My DVR USUALLY remembers for me, especially when there’s a large time gap between seasons, but it didn’t this time (again, Nth saves the day! 🙂). I can’t wait to check these out, I really like this series! Better call Saul is an odd series though. Saul (Jimmy), Mike, and Gustavo were my favourite characters from Breaking Bad, so the idea of a spin off intrigued me, and I’ve loved every season so far, but when you try to explain it to people, they will often look at you like “a series about a lawyer running a small law practice? That sounds REALLY interesting...🥱”. Usually they’ll give it a try based on its pedigree and end up liking it, but yeah, not always the most enthralling sounding premise to sell when you break it down on paper and out of breaking bad context. 🙂 |

Yeah, it's a really strange sell for a series without the Breaking Bad context. And the split within the series makes it even more unique and hard to explain. But it just works so well and the acting has been incredible throughout. I really miss Charles McGill character but his story reached a satisfying conclusion. Lallo has been very interesting so far. And for the first episode: I really liked the extended Gene segment. Given that this is supposedly the final season, I hope we don't have to wait until the end to get the conclusion and the future of Gene. |

Castlevania Season 3 just went live on Netflix and... other places. YES!!!!! I can not wait to start watching this. Season 2 is still so fresh on my mind. But I'm definitely going to watch the second to last episode for that epic "Bloody Tears" fight 😎 EDIT: Just announced on twitter, The Kids in the Hall are coming to Amazon Prime with a new series. No f'n way. This is awesome and completely unexpected! 😁 I loved this show and even got to see them perform live once in the late 90's. |
