So, who wants to storm Area 51 and see some aliens? Too late, we’ve all already been REPLACED!

The "storm Area 51" thing got covered by my local news, which included a picture of Naruto doing his run past some stealth jets.
This was right after a discussion of the president and his latest controversy (you know the one).
We're living in a weird timeline.

What in the blue hell is going on with that navel? Good question, is that a mouth or an eye? Maybe a soul eating mouth? How else do you get so freakishly huge and strong? Oh yeah, train, say your prayers, eat your vitamins, and believe in yourself, BRUTHA!

Just saw a guy walking around with a shirt that said "WASH U" and it took me a good couple seconds to realize it meant a university.

I wouldn't have even gotten that if you hadn't said it.
To be fair I just got off work and am damn tired but still.

When I was younger I sometimes wondered when it stopped being late one night and turned into early the next morning. Like, I know technically the next day begins right at midnight but that still feels like late the previous night to me. So does 1 AM for that matter.
I think I've finally decided that 4 AM is when early morning truly begins, at least when I'm at work. 2 AM (or, as I call it, no-beer o'clock) and 3 AM still feel like weird "in-between" hours to me, though. They're a little too late to be late night but still a little too early to call them morning.

It’s old, so probably not, but I remember seeing it at a friend’s place when I was a kid. Gremlins were these cute, fuzzy little creatures with big eyes that coo and gurgle like babies under the stipulation that you a) don’t get them wet/expose them to water (they will multiply), and b) DON’T FEED THEM AFTER MIDNIGHT (they turn all green and gnarly and evil)! That stipulation messed with me for years since it is ALWAYS after midnight. The thing that floored me was that my friends, their parents, and my mom could not figure out why I thought that stipulation was bullshit or why I couldn’t figure it out and I why I would argue that you could never feed them! Glad to see I am not alone in my questioning of the validity of temporal boundaries. 🙂

I'm vaguely familiar with Gremlins. I haven't seen it since I was little but I'm acquainted with the "don't feed them after midnight" rule. Also, "don't get them wet." Wasn't there a third rule? Those things usually come in threes.
But yeah, "don't feed them after midnight" is only half of an instruction at best. When do they get to eat again? Is that local time? Down to the minute? How does their biology know what time it is anyway?

All valid questions, valid because I asked the same ones in my mind as I heard the rule. They were apparently from China, so would they be in Chinese time or North American time? I don’t remember what the movie was about because I was distracted for the remainder of it pondering “after midnight”...🙄

At least "don't get them wet" is pretty straightforward but it also raises a question of how they clean themselves.
