I guess if they're tied to, like, the solar cycle it would be local midnight wherever they are. My question would be when can you start feeding them again? The whole day technically takes place after midnight, so...at what point is it safe? What if you get up at 4 AM and your gremlin is being super grouchy? Can you feed it, or will it kill you?

exactly! When is it cool to feed your gremlin since itt ALWAYS after midnight! They’re super cute and fuzzy pre after midnight feeding, so I don’t think your life would be at risk if you didn’t feed them. So many unanswered questions!
As for the cleaning thing, valid point. Maybe they use some kind of dry gremlin shampoo or gremlin wash!

I mean, would you get killed because you DID feed them and they went all wonky? There's actually probably a super boring, obvious answer like "daylight," but I've never heard about it being specified. As for cleaning, maybe it's like a cat: they can lick themselves all day, or get brushed, but if they get submerged, it's all hellbeasts. |

I love this Gremlins conversation 😁 We'll need to see a time-sheet that lists their feeding hours. My guess is Sunrise up until 11:59 PM. That vegetable gremlin from Gremlins 2 still disgusts me. |

Oh yeah, and that third rule I was trying to remember was "don't expose them to bright light" apparently. Understandable how that one would get forgotten compared to the other two.

Weren't we discussing depictions of the future in old games and movies a while back in this thread? 'Cause I've got another one.
I've been getting back into Perfect Dark recently and decided to read some of the supplemental material for fun. Turns out that it's set in 2023, which is now only four years away.
By my math, this means Cassandra de Vries would have been born the same year I was. It also means Joanna would be a teenager right now, which is giving me an uncomfortable mental image of her dabbing.
Picturing her yelling "YEET!" as she throws a Dragon is funny though.

I've started seeing promotional stuff for Gears of War 5, which was making me wonder when they even released Gears 4. Turns out it was late 2016, which explains my not knowing it since my then-day job (a retailer that sold video games, music, etc) was going out of business at the time. Suffice to say, I've been a little out of the loop on new games since then for the most part.

Had a couple of idiots in pickups (because of course they were in pickups) go drag racing past me on my way to work earlier. It was like they were doing redneck Fast & Furious.

I don't know what's going on with this dude or what his music is like or, really, anything about him. All I know is he looks like an alternate universe Jeff Hardy if he went even more out there.
Edited to add: OK, dude sounds like a real piece of work but I guess I shouldn't be surprised that a young man using "the sex number" in his stage name is lacking in maturity.
