Ever see Book or music cover art that made you want to purchase without even knowing what the contents are all about?... I really like the muppet hand positioning, too!

Isn’t the “Let’s Just be Friends” pancake drop already in the game?

With all of the wonder and greatness that has been the year 2020, I constantly have to remind myself that good stuff is still happening and that there are good humans with good hearts and good souls that legitimately love other humans. There is lots of unseen goodness done every day by people everywhere and not everything has to be an earth shaking gesture to be beneficial, but some stuff is huge and continues to resonate for a long time after the original event. Tomorrow, June 28th, 2020, it will be 39 years since a 22 year old kid from BC, Canada died less than a year after trying to run across Canada on a prosthetic leg to raise awareness and funds for cancer research. Terry Fox lost his leg at 18, took the experiences he had in the hospital to heart, and decided to try to change things and give people with a cancer diagnosis hope and better outcomes. He started running in Newfoundland and made it as far as Ontario (143 days, 5373 kilometres (3339 miles)) when his cancer came back and he couldn’t continue. 39 years later, Terry Fox runs are Held all over the world, and around 800 million dollars have been raised for cancer research and other projects. I remember learning about him as a kid and being moved by his story, but now it’s even crazier to me because he was really just a kid himself when he decided to run across an entire country to make a difference in the world. Not trying to be preachy with this post, just want to keep this guys memory alive, spread the story, and give people some hope for humanity in case you need a reminder that we are capable of selfless, kind, generous acts when we want to be! 🙂 terryfox.org/

I think my sense of humor gets a little too niche sometimes.

WOW 🤖
I'd love to see Doc Brown's reaction to THAT!
It would explain the transition from Doc Brown to Rick Sanchez 😁

I had a small epiphany earlier. Apparently the word goodbye comes from some medieval dude's shorthand for "God be with ye" (god b w ye). It made me wonder if the Spanish adios has a similar origin in spirit, since it could also be parsed as "a dios" or "to God."
