Happy Fourth of July to all of my C!C people south of the 49th parallel! I hope you all have an awesome day, keep safe, and don’t blow off any thumbs with M80s, you need them for spamming moves (READ: head drops) in fire pro!
I’ve been in the US on July fourth a few times, it’s pretty amazing coming from my foreigner standpoint. I was visiting family friends in Pennsylvania in a town just outside of Philadelphia, so I don’t know if they’re particularly patriotic there or what, but it was amazing to see more homes than not flying flags, decorated with ribbons and other stuff, people in Stars and Stripes, flags on cars, businesses done up, the whole nine! The fireworks display I saw was just a community league one, and no shit, it was bigger than any display I’ve seen at home, and I live in the capital city of my province! Canadians are patriotic, but I think we’re a bit more subdued when it comes to Canada day, no decorations, a few extra flags, stuff like that, but you guys know how to do it up, it was a cool thing to see! 🙂
