When teenage me first thought up the i.W.e. way back in the last days of 1998 our first logo was a shameless ripoff of the nWo logo, so I've been meaning to make a good old nWo-spoofin'-ass mat, and now I finally have. Also, I was very pleased with the bloody handprint I put in the middle of the mat.

Sorry to interject randomly like this but I'm laughing a little since I used to run a fantasy fed called IWA back in the day myself, that stood for exactly the same thing as yours.
Back on topic, I dig your nWo-alike mat. Carry on.

And I'm pretty sure there's a real IWA that stands for the same thing too! IWA was my very first e-fed, just a roleplay-only one back when I was a teenager and perhaps not at my most creative in coming up with fed names. I imagine there's probably been a hundred e-feds named Insane Wrestling Association by now! But of all the IWAs, mine had the ugliest Angelfire website, no doubt about it.

I dunno, my old site had its design issues too. It was on Geocities though, not Angelfire.
I also seem to remember finding at least three or four backyard feds that called themselves that way back when, which prompted me to finally change the name of mine.

LOL, but did you tile animated GIFs as a background for your Geocities site so that your whole page was screaming skulls you could hardly read the text on top of, while an embedded RealPlayer blared Korn (or just failed to load more often than not)? I started the IWA in 1998 so now it's simply been so long that I'm set in my ways and just can't change. Frankly, I don't love the name of my main fed, the i.W.e. (Independent Wrestling Empire) either. I came up with that in 1999 when I was 13 or so and it seemed super cool to me at the time, but as I get older I find it less and less cool (kind of contradictory to be simultaneously Independent and part of an Empire), but again I've just been using that name for so long now that I can't bring myself to change it.

Haha, no, it had frames and midi like every other early 00s Geocities page.
I kinda miss frames, honestly.

Here's a little look at my nearly-complete crazy-as-balls new venue, the Hotel de la Lucha! The building facade: Courtyard/Zapotec Rug Emporium:
And here's The Rose Garden, which accomodates a tiny little crowd in an intimate setting:

Pro-wrestling in Heaven! (And no it's not photoshopped, it's an actual venue you can wrestle in.)

Before today I would not have considered it possible to kill the hype of a tiger suplex off the apron

I'd love to see an actual skybox around that ring!

I made some custom crowd members as well as some inanimate objects for the new dynamic crowds mod. Then I lazily slapped together that crappy comic strip to showcase some of them. And now I'm gonna put a link below where you can download them. Just like this. It's all a WIP, so while some of them - like the blackshirted clapping man - are quite nicely done, some of the others - like the empty seat reserved by a velvet rope - are rather janky indeed. Maybe I fix, maybe I don't.

There's more going on than it seems. I had to look at it three or four times to catch everything.
I love the idea of someone bringing a stack of pizzas with them to the arena.
