(PC) House of Howdy (Papa Shango Move/Parts Craft)

Thanks Goose!  I remember the big build up to a match between Pittman and Cobra, and Pittman repelled down from the ceiling behind Cobra, while Cobra was distracted by a Cadet sent by Pittman, then Pittman beat Cobra in like five minutes maybe, it was crazy.  

BTW here is a pick of the Craig Pittman that I had, I bought this thing just hoping he would see something from it lol

I did a Papa Shango update.


First up I created a voodoo taunt that was inspired by Shango's spell casting.  Lots of frames were dedicated to the slightest movement of arms and head at times to give him the jerky movements.  He opened and closed his mouth frequently so I tried to get that too.  It's not a perfect one to one but more of an inspired by type of taunt.

Also back when Parts Craft launched I made a Papa Shango pixel head with the paint but it was a base layer and I had wanted to just do the pixel paint as a layer so I did two versions.  I liked the way the in-game eyes looked over the paint so I made a version where I exported the eyes and sorted them over the paint, but both options are there.



I also made a few spell casting moves, they are not really based on anything Papa Shango actually did and would work on any magic based edit, but I made them for fun and thought I would share them.

This one is a voodoo punch attack, the defender punches himself until he knocks himself over.  It's a large grapple move.  The original had the stomach and face punches coming in separate intervals but it caused a long move to be even longer so it was shorted to punching at the same time.


The second move is a medium grapple that spins the defender around and backwards.

Again, these two moves are not really intended to be taken seriously, I would recommend very low percentage points if you use them.  There is also a small 'stamina penalty' for magic casting, two stamina points self damage for the spin move and four stamina points self damage for the self-punch move to simulate the energy it would take to cast magic in the squared circle.  These moves where really just for fun, I was playing around with some ideas and came up with these, I did try to keep them within the realm of something that a real wrestler could sell in the ring if they were doing the spot.




I also made a Shango type walk taunt that I uploaded but it's not super useful, it's intended to simulate Shango walking to the ring but since he can't do the walk the entire way I don't know if people would find it useful but I uploaded it anyway.
