In the spirit of all this and all that is sentimental lol; i'll join for at least two rounds of the draft.
I'm always needing talent for my ever expanding efed-verse, even if I rarely play it. I even retooled some spike defaults, and you know that really speaks volumes on my edit making addiction. You'll know ive hit rock bottom when I remake Steel Johnson of Karts Rowdy...however..Bobby Bobby...maybe.

I started trying to get my list together. I know my top pick and am starting to put wrestlers in different ranking to make organizing the list later easier. Hope to have it tonight. Gurfs late addition had a good look with colors I really like so I'll be adding that to my list also. Very excited for this. I want to announce my first couple picks at least like my efed is drafting them. But I'm making my list on a Google doc that I'll share with you geese as soon as it's finished. After my first few picks I'll let you know to just draft my top pick available as soon as it's my turn. I'll try to update it as edits get drafted so it should be easy to read

It will definitely help you 😎 If you wouldn't mind just PM'ing me with a plain text list of your draft requests, that would really help me. I have one .txt file with pre-set sections for each drafter. It's easier for me to not have any formatting or links. Great, thanks for the confirmation! 👍 I put your name on the "drafting" list on the first page and will factor you into the randomized list when I set the official drafting order later tonight. I'll put you (as well as anyone who may leave the draft early) in each expected round and you can just let me know when you are ready to exit. Once you do, I'll take your name off for the following rounds. I have found that draft edits have completely inspired and re-inspired my creativity. There have been times I was sitting on like 10-15 unfinished edits of my own that I was kind of "meh" about. I figured I was burned out. But then a draft occurred and I immediately completed the top 3-5 edits I got!! There's something about seeing what other people can do with the game that has always got my creative motor running 😎 You'll know ive hit rock bottom when I remake Steel Johnson of Karts Rowdy...however..Bobby Bobby...maybe. We need to wean you off the Bobby Bobby's of the world and this draft will be just the thing LOL 😁 |

Okay!! We are now ready for the draft to begin on Sunday!! 🎉 The deadline has now been reached for people joining the draft and submitting edits. No new drafters can be added as of this point.
No new edits can be submitted to this draft as of this point.As updated in the first post, the draft participants are now formally confirmed and ordered! LankyLefty17 8. faulknasty 9. jetlag I used the service offered by Random.org to use chaos magic to objectively order all of the drafters. Every two rounds will run like this (below in spoilers) since we are using a "Snake" format. That means the last person to choose in the first round is the first person to choose in the second round. And the last person to choose in the second round is the first person to choose in the third round. It goes on like this 💡 First Round - Starting on 7/11.

Also, Gurf posted the other 3 attires for his very cool looking submitted edit in the post he made yesterday. Once again, I highly recommend that every drafter send me a list of edits that they want to draft (with some back-up choices in case all of your top choices are chosen by others) by 7/11 so I can draft them for you if you aren't around on your selection day. If your drafting day comes and you do not make any posts, we will move on to the next drafter in order. For the first 2 rounds, I am going to give everyone a whole day to make their picks even if they make them early in their day. That way people know now what day is theirs to draft and I have time to update the list of which edits have been drafted. If people want to the rounds to quicker after the first two, I'm fine with that 👍 One more thing - when you draft an edit, PM the person who made the edit to get the Steam link 👍 |

My edit I made doesn’t come with logic or any moves - I just built an appearance off the John Smith template, so basically he comes complete with URGHHH Spike logic!

I like to think the wrestlers with the movesets already like those players that ready to play professionally immediately and those that don't as the long term projects that also have big upside. Especially since when it comes to me running my efed that's pretty much what's gonna happen with the edits I draft. Some will just need some tweaks to fit my efed and others will be long term projects to get ready to join my efed. |

I like to think the wrestlers with the movesets already like those players that ready to play professionally immediately and those that don't as the long term projects that also have big upside. Especially since when it comes to me running my efed that's pretty much what's gonna happen with the edits I draft. Some will just need some tweaks to fit my efed and others will be long term projects to get ready to join my efed. That's a clever and helpful way of looking at this, and very consistent with the "draft" concept! 💡 I know my boys are as green as they can be - since they are just appearances on top of the "new wrestler" template. They got some potential but no game experience at all. It's all farm system for them 😁 |

The draft is very close to starting! In 2 hours, the 24-hour window of eligibility will start for eskiman to make his first pick in the draft!! 👏 Johnny Jett 's window to choose the second pick in the draft starts at 12 AM on Monday.
I want to see how this first round plays out in terms of what time of day people make their picks. Right now, everyone's 24-hour availability period lines up with full days. So even if Eskiman makes his choice at like 1AM Sunday, Johnny will have to wait until 12 AM on Monday to make his. I'm not sure if that makes sense but I wanted everyone to have the same "start time" as each other for fairness and simplicity. However, this system may waste too much time and take some of the excitement out of the draft. We may decide to switch to a quicker system where the next person's 24-hour availability starts right after the person before them chooses. In that system, Johnny wouldn't have to wait until Monday, his availability would start right after Eskiman made his choice. No matter what, everyone will have a full 24 hours to draft. The only question is whether we move onto the next person's 24 hour period immediately after someone makes their draft or wait until the next official day to do that. You guys let me know what you prefer. For the first round, I'm definitely fine sticking with the current system of matching everyone's 24 hour availability window to a specific day, even if they draft early in that day and the next person has to wait until their day begins. But if you guys want to switch to the quicker system, that works for me too. |

Originally, I was going to have everyone wait until 12 am for their 24 hour of availability to start. So we were doing it based on full day and that would mean that people would have to wait until 12 am for their window of drafting to start. Everyone would have the same 24 hours and everyone's window would start/end at the same time for simplicity. However, if you guys want to have a quicker system, I'm definitely fine with that.
Our two choices:
System 1: Everyone gets a full day to make their draft. The next person can't draft until their day formally starts even if the previous drafter chose their pick hours ago. For example: Eskiman has all of Sunday and Johnny would have to wait until Monday to make his pick. Even if Eskiman makes his pick at 1am on Sunday, Johnny would still have to wait until 12am on Monday to choose. This is the slower choice.
System 2: Everyone gets a full 24 hours to make their draft. If they make a pick before their 24 hours are up, the next person's 24 hour window would then open. For example: If Eskiman makes his draft pick 1 hour into his window, Johnny's 24-hour window would then start right after Eskiman's pick. This is the quicker choice.
Which drafting system do you guys prefer?
We are currently using System 1 but I'm happy to switch to System 2 if you guys prefer that.

I know personality system 1 would be painfully slow for me but not everyone is around as much as me so I will accept being outvoted but system 2 is my choice for sure.

Yeah, let's see what people say. I'm open to what people want.
No matter what, everyone will have 24 hours to make their pick for each round.
The only question is whether that 24 hours is connected to a fixed day (like "Sunday") or those 24 hour increments start immediately once the previous drafter makes their pick. The second system could pose a problem for people. But the first system could drag this draft out longer than would be fun. The best thing may just be a compromise where the first round follows system 1 and every round after that follows system 2.

Back in the day, the clock reset as soon as someone picked. We even had multiple people handling the Master of Ceremony spot; and would post off peoples lists if too much time went by.
However; times have changed. Forums and just posting traffic in general has slowed down. I don't know about other people but I personally began to work a lot more, and take on more responsibilities with family and ect. Sometimes a FB notification goes off on my phone and I just ignore it until I get around too it.
My point is this, drawing the actual draft out wont hurt anything. Some people might not even check the board every day.
I say let it go at least 12 hours for each first round pick. It'll give people more time to check the board and maybe send in a draft list.
