Summer 2021 Edit Draft has ended.

If your next and ready, id say just post your pick. Even if geese wants to keep the 24 hour thing running; it's still your round up next.

A few things to cover in this post:


1) First post updated with wrestlers chosen.

I updated the first post with the first two picks of the draft! I updated the list itself and also crossed out the edits that were chosen so people know they are no longer eligible.

Great choices by Eskiman and Johnny Jett! I had both of your choices high on mah list too 😁



2. Rule Change:

I came up with a much better plan as a compromise between the two systems of drafting.

From now on - everyone has 36 hours to make their choice once it's their turn.

As soon as someone makes their choice, the next person is allowed to go as soon as they are ready.

If I see that someone hasn't made their pick and there are only a few hours left, I'll use the next entry on their list provided they sent me a list. If I don't have a list and someone doesn't make their pick, then they lose their turn and the next person can go. Again, I really recommend that everyone sends me their list!!


The original system of "waiting for your official drafting day to start" (even if the last person made their choice hours ago) is now eliminated. It made decreasingly less sense to me to make a drafter wait for "their day starting at midnight" if the previous drafter made their choice early in their day.  There wasn't a good enough reason to waste all of that time and it could actually inconvenience the person who was next and ready to draft right then. So we're not going to do that. As soon as the person before you posts their choice, it then immediately becomes your turn and you will have 36 hours to make your choice. I think this is a simpler system while still giving people enough time to make their picks. Like DP said, people are busier these days. And I think the way to compensate is to give everyone more time rather than operating off a "24 hour fixed schedule" where no one was able to draft if someone made their draft early (like in "System 1").I think that everyone will have enough time to make their picks with a 36 hour time window once its their turn. I'm very glad that Johnny made his choice when he was online and ready. Making him wait wouldn't have helped.



3) Next drafter and their time frame

knocked has the next choice. I'm going to give him 36 hours from THIS post since I'm updating the rules.

Knocked, you have until 6am on 7/13 to make your choice for the first round.


Also, it's possible that multiple people may get their draft picks in when I'm not online. Whenever I get back online, I'll always update the first post. But to avoid confusion so people aren't accidentally choosing picks that other people already took, I make this humble request.

When it's your turn and you make your choice, please update the list below (in spoilers) with your choice and add it to the bottom of your post. If that list is in the post of everyone making a draft pick, then we'll keep a running tally of who was chosen even if I'm late to updating the first post.

Just wanted to drop in and say that this is so great that Geese brought this back. I've been away for a while, but I lurk here every now and then. Hello to all.

Jett 16 - Manchild Maniac

Recently the Tri-State wrestling scene has been assaulted by a masked maniac. He shows up from NYCW to XWA and everywhere in between.

This demented soul will either insert himself into existing matches; or drag a random wrestler to the ring for a fight.

He never speaks, aside from the grunts and screams he bellows from time to time, and as such has no official name. However the ring announcer for NYCW has dubbed him Madman Mars; which is named after said announcers favorite 80's slasher.
