My boys down in Evansville have pulled off probably the upset of the century in college basketball tonight.

Even after winning against the Steelers despite almost shooting themselves in the foot multiple times, the Browns find new ways to hurt their own team. The level of immaturity on that team is astounding.
What Myles Garrett did tonight was despicable. I know Mason Rudolph was horrible and he did grab at Garrett, but the play was done and there is no need to rip a man's helmet off and use it as a weapon.
Ridiculous ending to what should have been a statement win for the Browns.

Garrett should be done for the season and maybe part of next season. That's a 10 game suspension in my opinion, Zealot .

Garrett should get at least 10 games total (rest of this season and first 4 games next year) because you just don't fucking do that. I think Maurkice Pouncey should get a few games as well for repeatedly punching and kicking a downed and restrained Garrett. He wasn't "protecting his quarterback" there, he was being a godsdamned thug. Mason Rudolph should get a game for instigating the damn thing twice as he started the helmet pulling nonsense and then went after Garrett while his (Rudolph's) teammate was trying to calm the situation down. Larry Ogunjobi should get a game for running in behind Rudolph and knocking him to the ground as Garrett was being smothered. Garrett's earlier incidents this year in conjunction with this might see him get a longer ban and I doubt that anybody would object. That's a very clearly defined "line" that you just don't cross, heat of the moment be damned. I've been watching the NFL for 28 years and that's the first time I've ever seen a player strike another player with a helmet. Probably a good reason for that.

Other than Mason Rudolph, looks like you called it correctly, Marsh.

I didn’t bother to post news from the “Consolation Football League” as my NFL loving Canadian friend calls it because I didn’t think anyone here would care, but that game was great! The bombers came out hard, put the Ticats on their heels early and didn’t look back. Good to see such a hard working team with such a loyal fan base break such a long dry spell. I also enjoyed that the game was in Calgary but the Stampeders were already out! 🙂

What the fuck, Milwaukee Brewers? Trading away Trent Grisham and Zach Davies to the Padres?
Grisham helped keep the Brewers in the playoff race with his steady play after Yelich went down. And Zach Davies was consistent on the mound for a team with inconsistent starting pitching.
I hope the players they got in return are worth it. At the moment, I know nothing about them.

That trade came literally out of nowhere. The Padres must have blackmail.

The Friars also got Drew Pomeranz. I was hoping the Crew would resign him. He did well out of the bullpen.

^honestly, those aren't bad at all
DC and St. Louis are a bit plain but the rest "pop" either through design or colors
We'll see if they survive past a season this time

This is actually happening again? Wow. For avid NFL fans here at C!C, is there room for/interest in another pro football league? Are the rules the same as NFL, or will they go with the “smash mouth” approach of the first XFL go around? Imagine having enough money to burn to try to restart your failed pro sports league once again! Craziness. 🙂

They won't even last a full season. That's my take on it anyways.
