Yeah this isn't good. Every time I look through the DLC Parts stuff it lasts around 10 seconds before crashing. Has Spike acknowledged this at all? I’ve been trying to go straight to the part I need saving once I apply 1 part and then retrying with each crash to make a little progress. lol, that happened to me last night. After like 7 crashes, I decided to Overwrite after every piece I put just in case it crashed. Surprisingly it didn’t crash at all when I did that trick, but it sure took a while to finish editing edits like that.

Hopefully this gets fixed soon, not going to be easy to keep going back and fore all the time....but i do believe it will be sorted.x. :)

Any advice on making custom parts wrap around body parts a little more naturally? The stuff I'm seeing in the workshop all look kinda stiff compared to Spike created parts.

I usually mix, and match the new craft parts, with the base game parts to get a more natural looking item. I’ve done it to give Misawa a much more detailed, and large elbow pad like he does in real life.

So, they're not giving this to the PC Season Pass owners for "Free," are they?

It really has to be done when creating the actual part PNG. For patterns that are just intended to go over existing parts, there are tricks to make them more closely match the tone and shading of the default parts, but people don't seem to be doing that and are mostly using single flat colors instead. So it just doesn't have the---for lack of a better term---three-dimensional quality of the default parts.

What was helpful was my newest technique to minimize the number of crashes, when in the parts list while editing a wrestler, the game loading too much data related to custom parts causes the crash. Before you start scrolling through parts, press triangle to go to the filter categories, choose the type of custom part you want first (tattoo, pattern, outerwear, etc) then check the box for craft. It’s reducing the amount of pieces loaded, I’m not getting all the belts, shirt logos etc when I just want a tattoo. Seems to be my best approach yet.

Soooooo, does anyone have plans to update existing faces, either by "filling the holes" or redoing them entirely in the DLC style? Currently I'm trying to recreate Hogan's face by filling up the gaps.
I figure what I'll do will accidentally fill a few gaps at least, I'd be interested in learning more about the gaps honestly. I don't really want to spend pointless time recreating things that are already there adequately.

It's too bad that the faces are all base parts. The easiest way to eliminate the gaps would be to create a new base head that would essentially be a blank head, and place that underneath all the older heads. That would at least be more effective than what they did with the bald caps.
But that would require that the older heads be turned from bases into layers.

Here's Hollywood Hogan's face layered over one of the generic faces. It's not perfect, but took me all of 30 seconds to do. And it kinda looks like Sheiky Baby from certain angles. Hah.

Thanks again, I went and did as you suggested and haven't had a crash yet! Which is great news😊 It does seem that my PS4 just doesn't like searching through the specific Custom Part category. I can live with this for now, cheers 👍

Could you make a step by step tutorial on how to create these parts? I would really love to try this on my own, and contribute more to the community.

SO annoying
Every time I make adjustments to my edits with custom parts and Overwrite the data, I lose all progress after I reboot the game. It's as if the game doesn't register my modifications 70% of the time

It's as if the game doesn't register my modifications 70% of the time This is why I am waiting for patches before doing anything. In fact I may even wait as far as the move maker to come out and get patched up before I even start anything.
