Just forewarning...you're super likely to hit some memory issues well before being able to import 400-500 heads into the game.

My hope going forward, I guess, is that the hardcore puro fans add in the heads we didn't get in the base game's release. There's a ton of big names from outside of New Japan that don't have heads.

Wait a minute, I thought they fixed the tournament crashing bug. Did it just resurface? This sounds like The Memory Leak, the cause of like 99% of all crashes in this game. Seems to occur in a variety of places, pretty much wherever you can scroll through a list of cached images (ring edit, character select, etc.) and it especially happens if you're dilly-dallying back and forth through those menus. Game just forgets to unload things and free up its own memory and piles it up until you crash out. That sounds about right with most of my crashes. Having it crash while editing a wrestler is new to me. I was trying to make some giant leagues previously, like a father/son tag league using actual wrestlers, which requires a ton of flipping between promotions.

Are you playing on ps4 standard or ps4 pro? PS4 Pro, after the incredible amount of work I’ve put into curating logos, CAWs, themes, now faces and parts it would be a shame if it breaks the game or I have to revert back to a simpler version. Very curious if things will improve or decline further trying to transition all of it to the PS5.

In case this is useful information for anyone...
I've been playing around with parts craft a bit and discovered some more stuff as it relates to highlights.
You can't adjust the highlight percentage of exported/imported parts, but they actually can/do have highlights. Parts craft exports the default parts, (called presets,) as having the 25% highlight applied. But, you can also choose to export from created wrestlers. So you can create a wrestler, give them a part like the bodysuit chest and set it to 100% highlight. Then if you export that part from that wrestler, it will in fact look like 100% highlight when you import it back in. But, you can't adjust the highlight level back down once it's imported as a created part.
That said, if you do export/import a part with 100% highlight, it seems you can mimic the look of the 0%, 25%, 50%, and 75% highlight levels by using the same color of the exported part, and then adjusting the color levels. I exported and them imported a red chest bodysuit at 100% highlight, and then by adjusting the red color level, I was able to mimic the look of the various highlight levels. And, if you change the color, you can get some interesting effects, like a red part with say a yellow highlight area. Almost like what you could do with the gradients back when.
Still clunkier and not as good as the mods method, but kind of interesting.

The game is doing some weird stuff on PS4. Edits that use custom parts are disappearing from my created list so the only way I can tweak them is to make a copy but then I still have a duplicate that I have no idea how to delete. Never ran into this issue before.

I am having issues with parts showing up on subscribed CAWS. Also CAWS with parts show grayed out on exhibition and model wrestler screens. I have all the DLCs. I unsubscribed and subscribed back to the CAWS, restarted Steam, uninstalled and reinstalled DLC but same issues. Parts do show up under uninstall and mention that they are connected to a certain wrestler when I click on them. The files are in my PC folders. It's like I don't have the rights to use parts with the CAW. I am at a loss here. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!

I got a bit lucky having already copied almost all my CaWs to add theme music, still crashing damn near constantly but I’m slowly adding custom parts to my roster, many are fantastic.
I always laugh at “stability updates” on Switch and other consoles, but damn i wish this game would work reliably. I can’t go back after experiencing it with all the custom items, music and logos.

Seems to always happen after a dlc release. They usually release a hotfix patch a week or two after each dlc.

Yeah this isn't good. Every time I look through the DLC Parts stuff it lasts around 10 seconds before crashing.
Has Spike acknowledged this at all?

After the DLC i had a weird issue, some of my edits (2 wrestlers and a ref) can't be loaded to edit them again, i can use them during the matches and in Fire promoter.

No huge issues for me (so far), other than basic parts not showing up instantly when you scroll through them.
Digging the possibilities this DLC brings in terms of expanding art styles of the characters, here's what I've been working on...

I’ve been trying to go straight to the part I need saving once I apply 1 part and then retrying with each crash to make a little progress. Find waist pieces the worst as that’s where all the fancy title belts are, if I filter for custom it’ll crash right away, but if I press L1 it’ll flip to the bottom of the parts list with the most recent stuff, if I don’t flip through too many pieces it may not crash. Think you’ll be ok if you download parts and wrestlers using those parts, rather than trying to apply the parts yourself in the PS4 edit menus.
