That's a completely new type of move. So no, it's not possible. What about as a corner grapple or an apron grapple? Would take some serious doing, I'm sure, but those would be better hopes for a springboard to down move. You could make it look like an "Apron Dive to Downed Opponent" move, sure. Similar to those Corner moves that end in a "diving" pin.

Move creator for Fire pro is like a dream come true
I do wonder how the move damage is going to work, will we set it or will FPW somehow figure it out
It would be fantastic if these were sharable on the workshop

That's a great question about how move damage will work. I hope we can set which offensive parameters are used, how much damage it does, whether it can CRITICAL, and whether it drains HP and/or breathing. I also really hope they are available via workshop or some other streamlined sharing method.

All that is pretty much user-definable now, so I don't see it being terribly different. I do wonder if they'd cap the damage to a certain point so people aren't, like, making a jab that does 8 billion damage (since they're still under the impression that most of us play this, like a normal video game lol). I'd assume that even if they do that, everything else will remain up to the creator. It would be more work for them to implement some kind of system that automatically determines all that, so it seems super unlikely.

I was gonna make some crack about stopping me from making an accurate Goku, but now I wonder if you'll be able to insert your own graphics and make hadoukens and wacky stuff like that

I'll probably end up using the Move Data Editor as a guide for move damage and go from there.
Is it a punch? Compare different Punch moves. Is a big-head-drop-go-fuck-yourself move? Compare it with other moves of similar caliber. Etc, etc.

I'd like to make a scissor-style Buffalo Sleeper.

I really wonder what latitude we'll have for projectiles. Given that FPW has the fireball and the mist, I'm assuming we can at least modify them a little. (Insert obligatory Goose Muta "white mist" joke)
But I wonder if we can create other types of projectiles too like a Hadouken, etc. Maybe some kind of "ki/force push" or even a "force choke" of some kind. I also am planning on creating Geese Howard style counters. They already have the "catch and low blow" counter in the game so I assume we're able to do things like this.

Last I knew, the projectile objects are all their own texture sets and aren't tintable.
I asked about the Mist and Fire textures earlier on in the game's life-cycle and that's what I was told.

Ahh, i see. So maybe we can't modify, replicate, or do something similar. That would be disappointing since there's so much potential for projectile moves. Hopefully Spike allows us some access to them with the new tool but I'll keep my hopes in line here. I mean...I can't allow myself to think we'll be able to recreate the ultimate projectile weapon in FPW:

It seems like we got some news about the Suda51 and Takayama DLC

I can't read that much of it, but it looks like the Takayama DLC comes out first, followed by the Suda51 story mode, which is called Champion Road Beyond. It confirms both Craft Modes, too, after another DLC I can't read the title of.
The Takayama DLC also seems to have at least four T-shirt logos in addition to the rings, so that's cool.

I'm happy to see old school fire pro style character artwork is being used!

The t shirt logos looks enough reason to get the charity dlc, seems obvious they will be useful for at least roddy piper/ronda rousey
Also there’s something at the bottom of the champion road beyond graphic where all the pricing info appears to be, that mentions premium edition - wonder what that is all about
