I'd rather it be that way than to be less open and more limited. I'll go through the learning curve if it means I have the freedom to make better moves. Exactly how I feel. It's pretty much the ethos of being a Fire Pro fan anyway. A longer learning curve leads to almost infinite replayability. The more detail and options provided in the move maker, the more we'll be able to customize it to do exactly what we want. Heck, depending on how many frames of animation we're allowed, we may be able to essentially create our own mini sequences within a move! Given that this may very well be the last Fire Pro, I'm not the slightest bit concerned about taking a few months to get used to the move maker. Drop in a bucket compared to how long we'll most likely be using FPW for. FPR's lifetime was 12 years and FPW's may be much longer. I want the most precise tool available to give us exactly the types of moves we want as we'll likely be the lifeblood of the game from here on out. completely agree with this sentiment.

With one guy making Michael Jackson stage performances and full Hulk Hogan sequences, I don't think you have any reason to worry about animation frame limits. So...who will be the first to create a tag team move that is essentially a 60-second long square dance that does so much spirit damage that it guarantees a submission CRITICAL? Finisher: Do-Si-KO 🕺🕺

The immediate move I can think of that I'll be trying to create is the X-Plex, it's one move missing from my original edits. Actually will be sweet to add things to moves so that they feel more personalised.

Does anyone know if the moves editor extends to taunts - this is the one area I could see opening up so much individuality and uniqueness for real life and original edits
Even to the point you could create a coupe de grace that’s part of a finishing move - stone colds finger flip before the stunner, the rocks hunting pose before the rock bottom, Shawn Michaels foot tapping before a standing super kick and ric flairs dancing before the figure four
Edit - I realise the mods probably allow you to already do this if it’s possible, but I’ve kept my mod use down to graphics and blood/submissions only so I’m none the wiser

That's not the one I am thinking of, it's one where they lift them up for a vertical suplex and then it's more like a powerbomb motion/descent. It used to have a different name, but for the life of me I cannot remember it.

Great to hear that we're getting one last big batch of DLC. I'm sure the DDT pack will be released at some point next year as well. (I hope)

What if this is the end of the 2D era of Fire Pro, and they'd go on to create a spiritual successor of KOC under the Fire Pro name...?
A man can dream, but I think this is the end.

About editor flexibility.
A modder using the tools found within the game made Jeff Jarrett's Fargo Strut, complete with double fingers pointing up at the end.
That's a REALLY elaborate taunt!

All the apron to ring springboard moves are to a standing opponent. Any idea if it's possible to create some for downed opponents? I haven't kept up with what the modders have been able to pull off.

Using a corner grapple? Maybe could start with a bodyslam and then a springboard move like a 450 splash.

Would take some serious doing, I'm sure, but those would be better hopes for a springboard to down move.

I wonder if somebody could create a Top Rope with Opponent Down move that would involve the attacker jumping down the ropes, going outside on the apron and doing a springboard move to the downed opponent.
Or as somebody else said, Corner setup.
