Luckily the opposing manager has a pinch hitter he's been saving for such an emergency.

So is that a bat with a baseball attached to it or did the baseball start to phase shift into the bat? š²

Bored in the house, bored in the house bored. Made the forum into a Super Mega Baseball 3 team. Did the best I could with appearances based off edits and avatars. Did the base stats and randomized quite a few of them and traits. In the 82 game season I started, we are currently 23-5. Marsh leads the way with 12 homers and Senator has 34 RBI with 5 games missed due to a pulled hammy. We have a +161 run differential lol. I upped my ego difficulty to 55 for everything so far. That will probably go up over time. For some silly reason I couldn't see these images on my Firefox browser but can on my (older) kindle's browser so I'm just now seeing this. "Awesome" would be a complete understatement. I love when the community pops up in things outside of Fire pro and it's even cooler here because I love sports. Good shit, mang

2 different but congruent questions:
1. Is there a Dreamcast emulator that can play games right off of the disc inserted into a CD drive?
2. What's the easiest way to turn a Dreamcast game disc into an image file?

I was checking out the PS4 Sales this weekend, I noticed Gundam Versus, pretty sweet looking mech combat game, a little too heavy on online stuff for my tastes, but it sounds like thereās a bit of a single player aspect. Iāve never watched one episode of gundam (lies, I checked one more recent episode that featured MY CITY! I recognized the street and everything, cool!), so I donāt have the nostalgia connection, but it still looks like a fun distraction.
I started thinking about mech games, they donāt seem to be as common as they once were (on consoles anyway), and I started wondering what happened to some old standards like Front Mission and Armoured Core? Each of those titles have quite a few entries, but now theyāre gone! Robot Alchemic Drive was another cool one-off title, like ultraman or power rangers in video game form, cool control scheme and all that. Whatās the point? Whereās the mech love?

I still play Ring of Red from the PS2 era to this day. One thing I loved about the mech combat in that game was that mech's could be supported by up to three infantry squads, including one squad that could actually ride on some of the mechs. A shame that game fell into obscurity, although the digital version has been on PSN since the PS3 era. I actually still have my physical copy of that which I was amazed I was able to find as easily as I did.
The same guy who created Shadowrun is also the same guy who created Battletech and Harebrained Schemes has a great Battletech game out on Steam with several expansions although they are turn based as opposed to real time combat.

Probably the reason I feel in love with mechs. Is that the one where you can actually get out of your mech and run around as the pilot? I remember renting that and wanting to buy it but could never find it in a store anywhere. I'm sure I have it on emulator somewhere.

Yes that's the one. I used to rent it a lot too. I guess a cartridge is still hard to find because they are very expensive.
There is a game called hardcore Mecha on steam that appears to made as modern version of it.

I tried virtual on ages ago, it was a lot of fun! I think thatās kickin around on the 360 with backwards compatibility for xbone, I think Iāll have a look.
I forgot all about ring of red, but I loved that game! Yeah, Nth, it is odd that one faded away, kind of like front mission, but I think they tried to resurrect front mission last console generation it messed with the formula too much (donāt recall if thereās were micro transaction issues, too).
