Here's some Kunio art I found a while back that I thought would be relevant to community interests.

OK, I have another "real life counterpart of a video game animation" question.
In Wrestlemania 2000 and No Mercy, Val Venis's second taunt is him acting like he's pulling something out of his tights and flapping his arm around between his legs. I assume this is meant as a pantomime of him swinging the Big Valbowski.
I don't remember him ever doing this but then I never liked Val Venis.

I loved that taunt, forgot all about it! 🙂
I seem to remember valboski doing it, but maybe I’m just confusing the game with reality. I checked a couple of old matches to see if he pulls it off (out) , but couldn’t see it (could do something here, too...). Crazy to look back at mid card shit from WWF in the 90s, also crazy is how little they got airborne back then as well. Very different shit from then till now. I saw a smack down match between Val and Jericho, looked like Val was toning down the porn star thing by that point, match wasn’t terrible, and Jericho even pulled off my favourite pin of his (Val kicked out)!

That reminds me. Did Jericho ever win with that pin? That's one of my favorites too but I can't imagine it actually factoring into a finish.
I also love the little victory hop his in-game counterpart does when he wins with it.

Yeah, as much as I like the "giant" version of the cocky pin that's in FPR/FPW, a Jericho style cocky pin with the flex would be pretty epic. It was always something I tried to do with him in old WWF games lol.

Yeah, I love using it in FPW but I wish it had more showmanship and oomph to the flex part 💪

Yeah, I remember checking from release to release to see if a PROPER, douchy, heelish Jericho pin was added to FP... alas and alack ‘‘twas not meant to be...
Anyone here try Astral Chain? It’s a platinum game with great reviews, but it looks almost just a bit too new school anime for my tastes. I’d love to hear some C!C impressions of the game if there are any to be had! Thanks in advance!

I know Foley is hardcore but that's ridiculous. Also:

...didn't even pay attention to the fact that Bradshaw made someone submit there, and am also not going to say anything more about the notion except, "interesting."

A thought.
River City Ransom is a game where you can beat up Jocks for lunch money.
