If anyone on here has not watched NWA Powerrr on youtube, please check it out. It is an old school wrestling show modeled after the old NWA shows of the 70's and 80's. I haven't enjoyed watching wrestling like I did watching that show in probably over 25 years. This new show is really enjoyable and I think it should not be missed by anyone who is a wrestling fan.

Jim Cornette is smiling like a kid in a candy store... It´s nice to see MISTEERRRRRRRRRRR ANDERSON back in the ring.... and Trevor Murdoch. IMO Trevor just fits perfectly with NWA. I love that old school studio look... and it´s free to watch on youtube!

The old school studio just gives it that great live frenetic feel. It doesn't seem scripted or overly produced. It feels like wrestling, not sports entertainment. I smiled ear to ear the whole time I watched the first episode.

I love it.
NWA Powerrr and AEW Dark are a great combo. It's like a good dinner and desert right after.

Love NWA Powerrr! Hope it get's the recognition it strives for. Love the theme, the commentary, interviews, promos (which are really great!), storytelling and the wrestling is good as well.

The promos make me think of the opening monologues on Saturday Night Live. I also love the back and forth with the crowd.

Awesome stuff, the promos are great, Aldus is an interesting champ, great to hear Cornette doing what he does best, and even the refs, I can’t remember the last time I noticed the refs! Baby Earl was checking for clearance on the choke hold and everything! Storm’s thumb sucking superkick was pretty awesome, and that THEME song by Dokken! Nice! My only beef with the first episode was Drake, he got a little stone cold in his promo, but we’ll chalk that up to adrenaline and being amped to be part of something new.
I liked this, I liked the boys, liked the work, and somehow, even the squashes meant something. Here are our wrestlers, these guys are dangerous, it worked. I never realized how tired I was of super long entrance performances and even wrestler intro music until watching this. It felt more like a sporting event than a “sports entertainment “ thing. One hour is also perfect, it leaves you wanting more. This is a good thing, and I am happy it exists. I hope these people do well, this is the most fun I’ve had watching wrestling in a very long time.

I agree entrances can be a bit much but the just coming out to the ring is gonna take some time for me. The presentation I like for being different is also gonna take some time for me to get used to since I didn't watch the old studio wrestling shows, it just feels awkward right now(which a lot of shows do for me I have some kinda issue don't worry about it)
I'm definitely glad it exists and I'm also hoping they get more than just ex-tna and ex-wwe guys. This was the first time I ever saw Colt cabanna while I'm not usually a fan of similar kind of wrestlers I really enjoyed that promo he did before Mr Anderson came out. Also that women's belt is way small like way too small.
I'll definitely be keeping an eye on the goings on. It'll be this aew and NXT that I am interested in the most for American wrestling at least.

I'm also hoping they get more than just ex-tna and ex-wwe guys. Yeah, me too. It will happen as NWA gains momentum, but for now ex wwe, impact, ROH guys might draw the attention of fans who might otherwise skip the show all together. Letting these guys do their own thing on the mic will bring out aspects of personalities that would be otherwise invisible or all together lost with scripted promos, so new personalities will arise from this format with time. I am worried too many old people from the same group will jump on a lean the ship too much in one direction making it seem like you’re watching nitro or smack down or some other old thing, and not let NWA get on it’s feet as its own, distinct thing. If they keep hurt egos/crushed dreams and the names of their competition out of the picture, I think they’ll develop their own niche and be just fine.

I didn't get a chance to see episode 2 yet. I watched episode 1 live, casted it to the big screen in my bedroom. It was amazing. The only thing that I found a little distracting was the fans. Some tried to start a stupid "What?" chant. I hate when neckbearded incel fans try to be part of the show.
NWA is treating it wrestling like a sport and it's about time.
Looking forward to episode 2 and beyond.

Yeah, you’re right, the chanting did start to annoy me as well. Hopefully someone clued them in, but it might just be that that’s what fans in a crowd at a live show think is supposed to happen these days.

Yeah, fans need to follow the example of Japanese fans. One of worst had to have been when a couple of loud mouthed American fans were at a Stardom event...*shudder*
