Yes, the tournament brackets, the style vs style, and the ruleset made it special. Back then it was also known as "NHB" or "No Holds Barred Fighting."
Like you said, now, everyone trains everything. It comes down to freestyle wrestling for takedowns, BJJ for submissions and Muay Thai for striking.
Also, when the UFC had an event every 2 months, it was easier to follow...now it's like an event every week with 20 weight classes and I don't have the time.
Only reason I have time now to post is because I am on vacation. Once I get back to teaching, I doubt I'll have much time for anything else.

I get why they left. Y'all are gonna be stuck in your bullshit and say everyone else is wrong. But at the same time you think that us and anybody else right leaning are wrong. The reason for conversation and debate is to understand the other side's views. In the end we may not agree but we can at least understand where the other person is coming from. No I know your view. I grew up with that view. I used to think I was open minded but realized I was just taking in talking points without questioning. Yes people on the left so the same thing too. I'm not here saying democrats are right. I think trump sucks and Biden is pretty much the same both are damn near senile and have 90% the same beliefs. I think pelosi is garbage holding back real change. I think Obama fucked up. I think the president's before him were good at fucking things up too. I'm not here to saying the Dems are doing things right. I'm saying our government are fucking things up along with Pretty much all major governments (even Canada who I think they are getting a superiority complex over the us when they aren't that much different.) Shit is just getting worse and fascism is on the rise. |

Gas under Trump never reached that mark in 4 years and in fact was closer to 2 bucks a gallon.

James provided context and proof to counter wxbryant's claim that Trump was racist and I gave examples of how the media did lie.
If I can produce evidence that he's wrong, he's wrong. If I say the earth is flat...I'm wrong.
It didn't help that he got pissy and deleted his whole account because he didn't have an counter-argument. That's a sign of some deeper problem that he really need to get sorted out and I hope for his sake he does.
But anyway, if there is a metric that shows Biden is a good leader and has made the US a better place than Trump other than "No more mean tweets from Orange Man" I will be happy to see it.

I have said repeatedly Biden sucks too so what is your argument here? Also the guy has said several times that he has got shit going on in his real life. He quit here because instead of this place being a place he could get some enjoyment he had people on here trying to tear down everything he said so instead arguing with people who are always going to have something to say whether it is just a difference of perspective to tell him he's wrong he bailed for his own mental health. . Yeah and inflation is something that was always gonna happen. I've been hearing for years about how it was being put off. Inflation will always come for us. But yeah Biden is t doing great either and trump would have done about the same. You arguing that Biden sucks isn't gonna change the fact they both do. Also your graph also show that it was on the rise before his inauguration. So how do we know it still wouldn't have happened under trump. |

What the Supreme Court did was hand it back to the States. States that were pro-abortion before will likely stay pro-abortion.
States that were anti-abortion are now free to act on that.
