If you have examples please give them. If they prove he's a racist I will admit it. But don't use the Charlottesville interview where he said there were good people on both sides. Because right after that he said, "I'm not talking about those neo nazis, they should be condemned." Also don't use the example where he supposedly said all Mexicans are criminals because he was talking about gang members coming across the boarders. News stations cut that out so people only heard him say they are coming over the boarder and they're all criminals... Then we were told by the news that he was talking about all Mexicans, which is a lie.

I am not sure if the above estimation of Trump being an "a-hole" is ascribed to me, but that's not the kind of language I'd use on anyone.
I thought Trump should have stayed off Twitter as at times he didn't carry himself well. The office of President is to be carried with dignity, and Trump often did not carry himself well on Twitter.
However, he was never given a fair shake by the media, and I think he did well all things considered.
This current administration has been horrible. Joe likely has dementia, Kamala can't tackle a serious question without cackling. By the way, has she addressed the border crisis, or is it just being ignored by the media?
All things given, I'd rather have Orange Man Bad give out mean tweets than see the runaway inflation caused by the administration...and it started long before Putin attacked Ukraine.
I'm surprised Biden's approval rating is as high as it is.

I find it interesting that Al Sharpton was friends with Trump for years. But after he became President suddenly he's a no good racist. Everybody loved Trump before he ran for office. |

See? That's why I didn't bother with going ahead on examples. You would've just written them off as more media lies.
I should know by now not to let myself get dragged into these things but I have a temper. I don't claim to know a lot about politics but I know when something strikes me as wrong.
Forget it. This is just yelling at a brick wall. I've wasted too much energy I don't have on this and it's disrupting my already messed-up sleep again.

The media lied about the origins of COVID, the media lied about Kyle Rittenhouse, the media lied about Hunter Biden's laptop. The media lied about Jeffrey Epstein's death. The media supports the current administration's lies about inflation being caused by Putin. The media lied about the "mostly peaceful protests" that saw looting and burning.
So to go back to my original question as I had not intended to debate...do you think President Biden is doing a good job?

Why should I answer anything else beyond repeating what I already said? You may say you're not looking for a debate but I suspect anything I say is going to turn into further arguing. You'll probably just take the last word again anyway so have it.

I'll get personal, I'm a Christian and I know that most on this board aren't...but do I think everyone here is a demon-possessed child eater because they don't believe in Jesus like I do? Of course not. "Agree to disagree" is something long dead.
Also, given the title of the thread...if I want to gripe about the bad job the President is doing, this is the thread. A while ago I commented on another member's post about PRIDE FC, no mention of politics in my post because it didn't fit there.
I'll share another gripe...MMA hasn't been as good since PRIDE FC went out of buisness.

The reason for conversation and debate is to understand the other side's views. In the end we may not agree but we can at least understand where the other person is coming from. |

I started getting into mma when the ultimate fighter came on. I liked it for a while but it started getting boring. I think the reason is that it got too mainstream. You used to have some fighters that were good on the ground and some that were good standing up. When the stand up guys got put on the ground they were in trouble. Same thing for the ground guys when they couldn't get their opponent to the mat. Now everyone trains for mma so they are well rounded in everything. It makes it boring because most matches seem to be the fighters circling and throwing a few punches or going to the ground and one person laying on top of the other. I guess the rules make a difference too. Watching PRIDE and the first several UFC events, there were less rules which made it more dangerous. |
