There is a part of me that still wants to talk things out but I also remember how she's been acting since the last time they supposedly split.
As it is I find myself closer to somebody else but it would probably be a bad idea for us to act on it.

I literally thought today was Monday and that I was working night shift tonight. I spent the whole day sleeping only to discover it's Sunday. Now I have to stay up all night and try and sleep all day again tomorrow for the night shift and don't know if I will be able to since I slept all day today.

Damn, the PSN store has finally gotten around to putting in provincial taxes in my area. I notice Nintendo and Steam are now starting to charge provincial taxes as well. It was a good run though. Never had to pay taxes on digital purchases for well over a decade.

Anybody knows how to deal with the latest windows updates? Two were installed yesterday and the system won't let me uninstall them, and now I have to be connected to the internet to be able to use my computer, if I'm not it wont let me sign in. Anybody knows how to remove the sign in at the start? I had to type in a password every time I booted, now I want to remove that shit. I know this is just another way we are been kept track of, but fuck.
EDIT - I managed to make some changes that now allow me to sign in without being online. I think that was the biggest thing. Fuck Microsoft.

I'm really kind of struggling with the concept of idealism at the moment. Is it worth trying to aspire to an ideal state when you know it's utterly impossible to achieve? Why believe in something when you know there's no benefit to doing so?
Really just rhetorical questions but yeah, kind of in a weird headspace that has me questioning a lot of things.
At least I made it through a post without a swear word. Haven't done that in about a decade.

Thanks. I tried that before, and turns out the update is required for my computer. Funny how before they forcefully installed it my computer didn't need it. |

I've been lucky enough to avoid losing anyone during this pandemic but the isolation - even as someone who has been a shut-in off and on for a while now - still has me feeling sort of sentimental about my childhood and adolescence. I'm glad to see you're still up and about, especially since it's been so long since PWS was a thing and everyone seems to have drifted apart over time. |

I think it's pretty stupid when the folks at the Weather Channel encourage people to evacuate and or seek shelter in the path of a storm...only to send one of their people to stand in the street while said storm is arriving.
