I just want to thank you for this project! I had originally only planned to grab the latest version of each of the official Spike edits, but these are so good that I think I'm going to recreate every game that you do as a separate team/group. On a side note, are you the person that used to do the NHL 2K roster renaming guides way back in the day? If so, then I've been apparently leaning on your work for my gaming joy for quite a while. Kudos! Yes sir, absolutely. Would love to do hockey work again if the 2K series came back withits historical rosters! Definitely miss the 2K games for this. One of the reasons I'm hoping the EA games make it back onto PC, because it's probably the only way we are getting roster sharing.

steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2164462681SFP3 Bruno out. Came out better than Verne and Robinson IMO. Uses the Torture Rack / Argentine Backbreaker as a finish in this. He still has the Bear Hug and Canadian Backbreaker, mind you. I guess he torture racked people in Japan.

People's backs are gonna be jacked for sure. Have you had a chance to sim any of these dudes yet? Have they fought more modern wrestlers? Any of the 3 so far stand out as very strong?

I did sim them against one another. Because of the way SFP3 characters are built, they all have Medium Recovery/Breathing/Spirit and Body Part Endurances, no Critical Types (so, all set to Finisher) and no Special Skills so that cuts into their edit point totals and into their capacity to go against edits that have better skills than them. Also, they do not Ukemi so get no late match boost (counterbalanced by not letting themselves lose attacks on purpose to build the Ukemi). They are, however, very directive and go for the win on almost every action. Whether it is Verne's various sleepers, Robinson's pinning suplexes, Bruno's various backbreakers and all 3's high tendency to try for the common Pinfall, the opponent is always one bad RNG away from a lost. Nothwithstanding that they use their finishers a lot and thus have high chances of Criticals. They are not as broken as my Pro Wrestling NES edits are. All the PW NES AI does is walk up to the opponent and try the spin kick, until you initiate the grapple or you fall into pinning range then they pin you. Then when you grapple they grapple, but essentially the PW NES edits can't be simmed, definitively not against each other because that plain doesn't work. These edits CAN be simmed, but the matches aren't so great. They would get destroyed by any higher level defaults. Would be interesting to put them VS edits that are in the mid to late 100's.

This was an amazing match / test. VS FPR Nishimura which was randomly selected for the test. Robinson was slow out of the blocks, Nishimura expertly blocking his suplex attempts, and Robinson had to settle for simple snapmare takedowns and single leg crabs. Nishimura hit a variety of his own simple throws and submissions (mostly the Spinning Toe Hold) but then Robinson found an opening and started hitting those high-impact, high-damage suplexes. Many pinned for a 2.9, as did many lateral presses. Nishimura hit some throws and always followed up with a hold, but it was mostly Robinson. Then, THE SHIT HIT THE FAN. Billy Robinson tried to out-MUGA Nishimura and OKITE YABURI'd his BACKSLIDE for the 2.9! Shocked by the kickout with Nishimura obviously at the ends of his means and on an Ukemi high, the cock-eyed coal miner went for the kill with one last big suplex, but Nishimura blocked it and reversed into a backslide of his own, and we have a NEW British Commonwealth Heavyweight Champion, and he is Tatsumi Fujinami's priced pupil, MUGA's own Osamu Nishimura.

Thanks Mr Phil. I don't have internet service at my house at the moment, so I can't try out these awesome edits. Are you by chance scanning the edit books and releasing them? I don't understand a lick of Japanese and I know you spent money on them so i understand if you aren't. I'm just a bit of a data hoarder lol and wouldn't mind seeing them, even if its just a page or two. Again thanks for these edits and your hard work!

Phil are you reading the info at the bottom when you are making the wrestlers? I'm not sure what it says for the real wrestlers but for some of the fictional ones you posted the author made comments for moves at the bottom, like it mentions a flying shoulder tackle and poison mist for Raiden and it says you could make the finisher for bruce lee the cross arm breaker (I think thats the one he used in game of death). I believe it says that the flying shoulder tackle and poison mist aren't in Fire Pro 3 but in my mind if the author of the edit book mentions the moves then they should be considered canon. What do you think?
I guess it would be tough to decide what to replace or how to set the logic though...

Phil ParentThe ABjST TBiST black-and-white painting background thing looks like the background from the NOAH logo, if that makes any sort of difference...?

So one of the books does have Zangeif in it.
Was curious about that as we saw other fictional characters pop up. He's probably the most obvious one that comes from a video game.
