How much is this DLC going to cost? Does anyone know? If the 3300 yen price carries over to the US, it will be around $30 (judging purely on current exchange rates, not factoring anything else). I really can't see it being that high, though...right? But apparently they are calling it a 'Season Pass', so maybe depends on what they include with that (this + parts creator of course, but anything else?) I think they were saying it was part of the original season pass bundle and it would be included for free for those who bought it. But I could be wrong. I know I bought the season pass when it first came out, so I guess I'll find out soon enough.

I find it so strange they release both DLCs within a week. Isn't that cannibalization?

I think they just want to get the game finished up and done. Matsumoto said they would be done with the game in the Spring and that's just over a month away.

It’s crazy that we’re getting this part creator DLC in just over a week and we haven’t seen or heard pretty much anything about how it will work. For me, this is easily the most exciting thing out of all this DLC we’re getting over the next month.

There was a short blurb in Famitsu the last time they covered firepro, in which it's supposed to basically act as an image importing tool where you draw the sprites in an imaging program of your choice i.e. GIMP or Photoshop.

Sooooo... The Custom Parts mod without all the dumb bullshit in-between? Sounds easy enough. For me, at least.

Hmmm. I wonder how that will work for PS4.

Hmmm. I wonder how that will work for PS4. I'm guessing either by PC, or by using a USB drive to grab the images, convert them into parts, and then upload them to FPW NET.

I mean it still sounds like you have to draw the image on every angle on the sprite sheet, which is still a lot of work. Unless the game is going to have some sort of image mapping tool which allows you to draw it on one angle and the game does the rest of the work for you. No idea if that’s even possible though. Just talking out my ass really.

Just talking out my ass really. Dumb bullshit is specifically unpackaging/repackaging Unity files. I don't particularly care about drawing parts myself, but I imagine it'll be considerably easier, like uploading a logo to 2K's servers is for WWE2K.

I believe there's a tool in Photoshop that lets you effectively map a selection to a 3D plane - like a cylinder, cube, or sphere - and let's you use skew and rotate accordingly. I could be wrong though. Iirc it's how someone made a few custom parts a couple of years back.

I can't believe we're getting two DLC's in the next few weeks.
I'm more excited for Stardom II for the short term just to "plus" my edits with moves and parts.
But Fighting Road should be awesome and I really look forward to going through that story.
I also hope Spike makes some surprise updates to the game via patch as they often do.
One day I just hope they randomly drop in "Priority to Standing Attacks" in with a free update accompanying a paid DLC. It will be like buying a kid a fancy toy for their birthday and they just want to play with the box 😁

I'm hoping they fix the Heel Pin glitch, make apron grapples happen in sims, and some other stuff I can't think of in the moment.
On a seperate note, I'm wondering if new heads can be made with the Parts Creator.

Even if you can't make actual body parts, I don't see why you couldn't make a "mask" that's just a head that fits over an existing head Also February 26 wtf DLC schedule got crazy all of a sudden

Really, really curious as to what "Improvements" mean 💡
I hope it means priorities to standing attacks AND a fix to the recent rampant issue of priorities being ignored.
