As my first official post here, I'd like to implement some sort of "official" thread for the various Custom Edit Parts we have seen come out. It was a daunting task to find all the parts made by various creators in the past. If anyone has any Google Drives or anything of the sort to share Custom Parts, please post here. Thanks.

I plan to move the Oni Parts Unknown thread over here later today if work would die back down or tonight if not. I'm assuming it goes in the mod thread since it's edit parts that rely on the mod, rather than creativity?? Not 100% sure, I just know that's where it was last time.

I had just gotten back into part creation before the other forum went down. I've got a few new things in the works that I should be ready to share tonight or tomorrow. And I think I might rework some of my previous releases a bit as well.

I really want to learn how to do custom parts. I have some experience modding textures (in NBA 2K games mostly), and it's time to give back to the community. The only thing missing is free time, lol. But I'll get there. For now, I just wanted to suggest posting the tutorial that Carzilla made in this forum (first post or in the guides section). I'm gonna need it one day and I hope many more willing to learn

I have a few parts I will link here when I find the time, and am not using my phone. The lego head, lego hands, and painted fingernails will all be in this post soon.

I created a thread in the guides forum that collects Carl's original edit part tutorial and my own highlights tutorial. (And I have another couple of edit part making tricks I'll share in there as well.)
Anybody can feel free to add whatever else to it they deem appropriate.

As I'm still not 100% sure anyone saw this before the other place closed down but I did a little bit of a tweak to Oni's fishnets in the same way I altered the Kilt. Waist Thigh Calf Foot I've also gotten rid of the leg underneath. That might prove to be a mistake but if it only restricts the leg it fits on I'm ok with this for coloured fishnets.

Yep, I just grabbed them from the old board. I'll export and test them tonight. If all goes well, I'll post them to your folder on the Google drive and update my thread (or are you going to start your own?)

You can post these on your board, since they are basically your work tweaked but once I make something new I'll start my own thread. :)

Going through the parts thread on the Arena was one of my favorite things to do. Everyone who contributed has done amazing work and has added so much to the community! I suppose I'll toss the idea out and see if anyone can take a stab at potentially making it come true. Does anyone think the Buddy Murphy(pictures posted below) style of ripped shorts could be achieved? I feel having another boxer shorts style would add a lot more variety to edits with shorts, at least for me personally. I'm more so talking about the shape as well, not so much the designs that are inside the shape(the camo among other things, like the belt that others like AJ Styles and Ricochet use)

I'm more so talking about the shape as well, not so much the designs that are inside the shape(the camo among other things, like the belt that others like AJ Styles and Ricochet use) It's doable but would take some effort. First, you'd want to shorten them a little bit - some of his cuts look like they're at the knees (shin piece) but the boxers are a thigh piece in game. IMO, you'd want to use the alpha channel to make cuts to the thigh piece, versus trying to lengthen the boxers and draw extended pieces hanging down the knees (shin piece). Then you'd have to figure out which patterns you needed (like camo) and cut those in-game parts to fit the same shape. That part is pretty easy in Photoshop but could be time-consuming depending on how many patterns you're wanting to end up with. I know you said you care more about the shape but without at least some fill patterns, you'd only have a solid color, or your patterns would go outside the lines and cover his bare leg - neither would give you much versatility for other edits. All of this is to say I'm not particularly interested in doing this request since I don't know the guy and wouldn't use the part myself. But if you wanted to try it, it's not a bad way to get started on custom edit parts, and I'd be glad to coach you through if you get stuck. I normally would recommend starting with the head because it seems to have one of the least number of parts to draw and most angles are intuitive about what you're looking at. But the absolute easiest thing to cut your teeth on is making alterations to existing in-game parts (or even existing custom parts) since a lot of the work in getting the angles right has been done for you. Nice! So many people clamoring for belts to be worn to the ring. Between your edit parts and the costume extensions, seems like it would be pretty easy to set everyone up as a potential champion and then pick the appropriate costume to have a very effective workaround on the issue.

Yeah, that's the idea. The ten belts from the game made sense so whatever someone uses in the Belt Edit mode can be done, but it's fun to make a few others, too. Making some more detailed real ones is possible, and I think they turn out better, or at least more accurate, when not making just a white base layer with some detailing. With the US title in particular, I was trying to balance the look between accuracy and blending in with the Fire Pro style. I hope it works.

And to Oni’s point the .cos extension allows you to name the attires as ‘USChamp’ makes for a great presentation. JP
