Something that wasn't clear, are you able to have say a single cage match on a show that is set to normal matches? Or is it all or nothing? Nope it’s either all regular matches all cage matches etc etc. which is another thing I dislike |

I know im breaking my own rule by posting outside my own thread but fuck it.
See I kind of like Promoter, I really do. There is a draw there, it's fun to slowly build a home unit and expand. Seeing who works well together, and who doesn't. Hell I even enjoy the budgeting to some extent. It's interesting to watch what freelancers you bring in.
Let's see, bring in John Cena for 18k and get a 65% match or bring in 400 buck rookie and get a 90%...idk lol.
Still there is a downside,
- Wrestlers no show for no reason at all.
- Wrestler get injured WAY too easy and too often. you're working once a month man, your neck cant be that hurt.
-- hell sometimes a wrestler in 100% health gets injured in a random tag match opener.
--- Worse yet are the bugs, I signed my Yuto Kikuchi edit, he was in all green health. His opponent no showed the event and his match got canceled....but he got injured for 4 months anyway?????????????? What?
-Rosters
-- I get not being able to set up myself as how id like from the get go, but it's a shame I cant have WWE or NJPW to a decent size. I signed 32 guys to NJPW and they cut about 12 the first year. Also fuck Okada for wanting 87k a show lol.
--- I'd like to see my customization for my opponents at the very least. It's fine to let me struggle but at least let me build up my fictional universe.
- The style clash thing, Mitsu Nagai no showed my show because he wont work Kings Road....and before we blame my edit settings, i am using his Returns settings. Why is he labeled stoic? Also while we're at it, why does spike set Mongolian and Irish wrestlers in latin america? lol
-Budgets, the first year will be your test, because soon you'll get sponsors, then TV, sot he more you play the more money you get. However it feels off, the downside is always greater than the up. 5k for poster ads? 20 k for social media ads? Your going tot he wrong people fire pro! lol
Overall I'd give Promoter a C+ or B. It's fun but someone annoys me more than the old GBA version.
The only thing it honestly did was give me the urge to give out a pen and paper and book a proper efed.

My mistake was putting too much into advertising. I also tried merch which was a mistake. I took your suggestion about ticket prices which helped. Good stuff!!! Also, I've found you can play around with your card to get the maximum crowd expectancy higher, more tickets sold = more $ I've actually just lost money in January of year two when I went for a bigger area, overall in the first year I made a 200K profit by just keeping it simple & not going gung ho with it On another note, I found a Brown Bear on the Japan Free Agents list, I marked!!!! There is also a White bear :D |

Super fun to me, as I expected. It’s pretty much MOTR with custom rosters, haven’t seen too much different. $20 seems kind of steep when you consider that but I’m enjoying it so far.

Mitsuya Nagai being Stoic isn't surprising tho, he was a former RINGS guy! I imagine his Returns logic has a lot of similar numbers to his logic in 6 Men Scramble and FPG.

Ok, now I'm getting really goddamn pissed at Promoter.
So I've been creating my geeky fictional rosters with downloaded wrestlers ranging from videogames to comics, etc.
Well I haven't completed the promotions yet but I wanted to try the mode just if something is going bad. And yeah man this is wrong.
So I choose a custom promotion for playing, I choose Easy, 8 promotions... bam. Graphics interloped, game softlocked. Damn.
I tried a new one then! No problem, won't happen anything! Well I do the same preliminar steps and voilá, the menu is working! Yeah! But when I change the first promotion to another one... goddamn softlocked. AGAIN.
Maybe SUPERSMASH promotion is broken! I don't see why, every wrestler I've been using works like a charm in Exhibition. It sure was breaking the game. Some promotions break the game. Some of them work. I don't know what's happening but I'm really angry right now.
Edit: Well some users are already with the same problem. It's related witg the new countries added... which is really stupid btw. How in the hell am I gonna scoop out my damn edits by looking through almost 1000 downloaded wrestlers one by one?

I'm guessing it goes America /Japan /Mexico/ Europe as that seems to be the order of the game |

Various things can impact it. Wrestling good matches should be a priority |

What am I doing with this information? Someone on Reddit mentioned it's just a bad translation that is supposed to be purely informative and that you can't actually participate. Can anyone please confirm there is indeed no action I can take here?  |
