[Part 2] February Show - Full HouseThe goal of the 2nd show was mainly to improve on attendance, as well as to monitor Scott Lost and Tiger Mask performances, who failed to impress on the first show. I was still learning and trying things but setting small goals each month was important. On the business side, I decided against crazy investments and only bought small upgrades that wouldn't get me in trouble. I also tried not to mix big wrestler expenses with gym expansions. I was happy to see that my humble goals were achieved. Lowering the ticket prices helped getting a first full house. Scott Lost & Tiger Mask stepped up in their respective matches, both getting a 91%. Takayama beat Daijiro Zama in a non title match, creating an interesting story and leading to an additional attempt at the RELOAD Championship in the future. March Show - A familiar guestI was approached by Yukio Sakaguchi from DDT, who requested to participate in my show. To me it was pretty mind-blowing, since I had a mini feud between him (as a DDT representative) and Sonny X right before starting Promoter! I agreed, of course, and booked him against Sonny. While this was a nice development, the match and the show ended up being mediocre with an overall 72% rating. A match between two legends like Takayama and Tiger Mask, which on paper should have been great, got only 67%. April Show - Spicing things up
I slowly started to realize that I can't rely on Takayama & Tiger Mask to carry the promotion and that I need something fresh. On the other hand, with only 3 shows in, I couldn't break the bank and just sign big superstars. I needed a creative solution. So I decided to find a cheap Junior and introduce a Junior Championship into RELOAD. Without that many realistic options I decided to gamble on the super cheap Yoshitsune. I remember being impressed by his aerial ability in the mid 2000's, so I decided to gamble on him. I set a Junior title match between Yoshitsune and Scott Lost, who was very impressive in his win against D-Mask II in February. Plus, he was rested. This is something I try to keep an eye on all the time, I hate wrestlers getting injured and I'm happy to say I didn't have a single injury during the year. I pressed my luck a little bit and went for a bigger venue (a small hall in rural Japan). Not only did I introduce the Junior title but also the RELOAD championship was on the line again as Takayama got his rematch against Zama. Despite nearly losing to the insane Yoshitsune, Scott Lost found a way to win and capture the RELOAD Jr. Title! I was so happy for him :) Takayama failed in his attempt to win the title but the show was a great success with 85% rating and 70 people shy of a full house. All that while resting D-Mask II, one of my better performers at that time. This was my best rated event in the entire year. Next goal: Full house in the small hall!

After 2 years ECW has gone into bankrupt, i guess because they had a very low budget and too much expenses! Then in WCW Kevin Nash retired, just one month after winning the Wcw Tag Team Title with Scott Hall! So im guessing that age matter in the promoter mode but the nice thing is that a 77 years old Mill Mascaras is still performing in my AAA promotion!

When you sim I find it hard to get highly rated matches but sometimes they surprise you with a great match. I loved reading your stuff so far!

3 shows in and Kurt Angle offered to come work one of my shows. Also, Nick Jackson got arrested for aggravated assault. Freaking angle vs Okada only got a 77%. Anyone figure out yet if different refs affect CPU difficulty? Feel like it’s definitely on a low difficulty with Mr. Judgement and it’s having a negative effect on my ratings.

Just because your edit is named Kurt Angle it isn’t an automatic reason for a high rating.
What is your promotion style? Strong Style? Does Kurt’s logic reflect this and act appropriately?
I’ve been having countless 100% Showman matches as my edits taunt like crazy, an attribute that helps the rating in that prefered style.

[Part 3] May - Another debut!May show has a dream match of Zama vs Sonny X, which is pushed down from the main event due to the exciting debut of Minoru Tanaka. I felt like I could have done more with such match-up but due to Sonny not performing well enough, I play it down, making it a non title match, hopefully to have a more meaningful feud between the two down the line. Tanaka's signature came a little bit of a surprise. Although not main even caliber, Tanaka is pretty decent, fits my style perfectly and I wasn't able to sign wrestlers like him until now. Tanaka is the type of fighter who signs to win titles but his first test isn't easy... Yoshihiro Takayama. Since Takayama & Tiger Mask are two of my highest rated wrestlers, yet don't perform that great in terms of match rating, I decide to take advantage of their reputation and start sending them out on loan whenever possible in order to improve relationship with other promotions. Tiger Mask is the first to go to DDT. The show itself didn't do so great in terms of match rating. Zama beat Sonny and Takayama pretty much destroyed Tanaka, both matches got under 80%. Scott Lost, however, continues to show that the trust I put in him was a good call and aside from the bad match on the first show (which I now understand was Tiger Mask's fault anyway :)), getting above 80% on a regular basis. I also failed to get a bigger venue due to signing Minoru and other Management expenses. I understand that we're playing a long game here and if I really want to move forward, I do need a bigger roster.

[Part 4] June - Introducing the Tag DivisionThe reason I didn't have a tag division is obvious: a very small roster. Once you make a tag match, you commit 4 people to a single match and that's too much of a luxury when you have 6 wrestlers. I decided to invite several free agents to bolster the card a little bit and let a regular star or two take a well deserved rest. One of the stars I brought in was a former "Undercard" stable-mate and tag team partner of Scott Lost, Tony Kozina. Having simmed Kozina quite a lot in the past (he and Scott are my edits), I know that despite his low stats, he can give a good match. However, facing Yoshitsune in the opener was pretty bad and got a 64% rating. If I was thinking about bringing Tony in on a contract, that thought quickly disappeared after that poor showing. Two other free agents I brought in were Space Monkey, whom I really enjoy in DDT (you might have noticed that I am fond of DDT by now) and Scorpio Sky. The (very) random duo faced D-Mask II and his old mentor, Tiger Mask. The match was good, the masked guys won, mission accomplished. The main event saw last month's opponents paired up in tag teams. And so, Sonny X & Daijiro Zama reformed the historic RELOAD tag team, while Minoru Tanaka accepted his loss to Takayama and joined Takayama-Do. The match went for almost half an hour and Takayama-do won. This leads to two things: 1. Following the victory, Minoru challenged Daijiro Zama to a title match. 2. The winners of today's tag matches will face each other for the RELOAD tag titles in the near future! RELOAD is *almost* ready to move to a bigger venue. Yes, the inconsistent match ratings are a concern and we aren't making a ton of money. However, we are able to (barely) stay profitable and considering the fact we are signing new stars almost every month, growing our facilities and expanding our merchandise - we are doing very well as a business! A word about merchandise - Snacks are cheap for a reason. You can't keep selling them over time... One more thing, I try to keep my guys in stables. So when I formed Takayama-do, I got a message about an exciting new stable forming. Wondering if that boosts t-shirt sales. I'd like to think yes. Anyway, the next show will see two titles defended in the current venue (2,000), hopefully it's a good show and we can gain additional momentum towards bigger things!

Introducing FIGHT! Wrestling, a new strong style promotion based in the United States. Currently the company has only six wrestlers on the roster, but will look to sign talented wrestlers both domestically and from abroad as they aim to gain a foothold in America's booming wrestling scene early on. Here are the results of our first monthly show:
Jan Y1 - Irvine Gymnasium, CA - Crowd 1093 - Referee: Mr. Judgement Match 1 (Single, 20 mins): Bill Bullock vs. Thomas Walker (Bullock wins in 17:12 by stomach claw, 100%) A perfect start to our promotion, with a big submission victory for Bullock! He'll be one to watch...
Match 2 (Single, 20 mins): David Houston vs. Mickey Williams (Williams wins in 7:01 by cobra clutch, 68%) A dominant performance from the Hell Knight, sending a message that he plans to bulldoze his way to championship gold.
Main Event (Single, 30 minutes): Matt Robinson vs. Jack Howard (Howard wins in 13:18 by spinning spinebuster, 72%) A somewhat disappointing main event, with Robinson unable to match Howard's skill and power. We'll have to wait and see if Matt can bounce back from this loss.

After a solid first show in January, FIGHT! Wrestling began its second month with the release of a line of merch and the signing of "Type O" Jonathan Bennett, an American known for his skill and deceptive agility. He'll be having his first match this month against Matt Robinson, who's hoping to silence his critics after last month's disappointing performance. In the other matches, Mickey Williams will look to back up last month's demolition with a win over the "Hollywood Hunk" Jack Howard while January's surprise package in Bill Bullock takes on David Houston.
Feb Y1 - Fort Wayne Gymnasium, IN - Crowd 1600 (sellout) - Referee: Mr. Judgement Match 1 (Single, 20 mins): David Houston vs. Bill Bullock (Houston wins in 12:54 by rollup pin, 87%) A fun match ends in a surprise victory for the Anti-Gravity Kid in our opener, catching Bullock with a roll-up! You can be sure Bill will be out for revenge after this.
Match 2 (Single, 20 mins): Jonathan Bennett vs. Matt Robinson (Robinson wins in 16:05 by 'Divination' [Pedigree], 93%) An awesome match between two talented wrestlers ends in a victory for the Divine One, showing that his prior performance wasn't all he's capable of.
Main Event (Single, 30 minutes): Mickey Williams vs. Jack Howard (Howard wins in 18:00 by 'Rodeo Driver' [package piledriver], 98%) What a war! Williams took Howard to the limit, but the Hollywood Hunk proved that he is the top contender for our first title.

FIGHT!'s February show was a fantastic follow-up to the inaugural show, but these must continue if FIGHT! wants to continue to build momentum as a company. The newly upgraded gym and introduction of a line of T-shirts will likely help, while newly signed Japanese talent Yuki Himuro will look to make a name for himself at the expense of the other roster members.
Mar Y1 - Toledo Gymnasium, OH - Crowd 1600 (sellout) - Referee: Mr. Judgement Match 1 (Single, 20 mins): Thomas Walker vs. Bill Bullock (Walker wins in 17:51 by 450 Splash, 100%) An incredible opening match sees the returning Walker pick up an impressive victory over Bill Bullock, adding to Bullock's in-ring frustrations.
Match 2 (Single, 20 mins): Jonathan Bennett vs. David Houston (Houston wins in 10:58 by high-angle hurricanrana, 88%) A fast-paced match between two skilled athletes as Houston pulls off another impressive win.
Match 3 (Single, 20 mins): Yuki Himuro vs. Mickey Williams (Himuro wins in 16:17 by top rope roll-up pin, 84%) A hard-fought victory on debut for The Shabazo, catching the big man with a jaw-dropping pinning move.
Main Event (Single, 30 minutes): Matt Robinson vs. Jack Howard (Robinson wins in 12:46 by KO [CRITICAL! Divination], 97%) A hard-hitting battle from start to finish, as Robinson settles the score with Howard in emphatic fashion!
Coming up next is the final show before our first pay-per-view event, Memorial Day Mayhem, where we will crown our first FIGHT! World Champion!

Finally started my first play through last night. Decided to wait until I had unlocked the ability to do a tournament (it ended up being August) to crown a heavyweight champion as I didn't want the belt to be awarded arbitrarily; had 3 wrestlers too many for the tournament so sent them out on loan - two came back with titles (a Junior belt and a tag team belt); so in one month I went from my fed holding zero titles to three 😂
