Depending on how the recently announced collection goes I may finally get around to Super/Return of Double Dragon and DD Advance. I hope Super Double Dragon gets a frame rate boost. A near perfect game marred by the fact it ran like molasses.
Don't have it yet but it looks like the options let you switch versions (Super or Return) and there's a game speed toggle as well.

They're finally out and yes, Super Double Dragon has a 2x speed option so it doesn't play as slow as it originally did on the SNES.
And what is arguably considered the best version of the original Double Dragon, Double Dragon Advance.

GTA VI looks incredible. Watched that trailer like 5 times.
I can't stop watching the alligator footage. I really, really hope they allow us to use that animal control pole to wrangle gators and other animals...and NPC's 😁 It should be GTA's version of the Red Dead lasso.
They made that quick reference to backyard wrestling and we saw an elbow drop through a table. I wonder if there's more to that than just a quick little joke. Maybe we can actually walk around in a lucha mask doing moves? I hype myself up for so much eventual disappointment in these games 🤦♂️

That Sega stuff looks great. I’m all over anything Jet Set Radio, but the clips of golden axe and crazy taxi have me interested as well. I was just talking to a buddy of mine, bitching about game companies sitting on storied franchises doing nothing with them, and specifically mentioned Shinobi, so seeing THAT in the mix was pretty cool, too!
I’ve seen various hints that virtua fighter might be getting another look as well.

The PS2/PS3 Trilogy was already remastered once to the PS3/PS4, but to have the whole trilogy remastered and available on current gen system would literally have me doing an entire God of War series playthrough at least once a year. The original games are masterpieces and still hold up to this day. |
