Damn, woke up this morning to X exploding. Looks like MS becoming 3rd party publisher, service provider and software developer could be happening sooner than the 2027 prediction. MS looks like it may be bowing out of the hardware market soon, with a big announcement coming in the spring from Sarah Bond.
An entire slew of Xbox exclusives are about to be announced going multi platform including Starfield and flagship series Halo, Hi Fi Rush, Sea of Thieves, Indiana Jones, etc.
One insider has reported MS has already received PS5 Pro development kits already to begin transitioning.
Many speculating the Blizzard Activision buyout may have been the catalyst for this as MS has yet to gain any financial traction from the purchase and instead laid off thousands across dev studios.

While I always figured that Microsoft would be the ones to initiate cross-platform First Party sharing with Sony, I didn't think that it would come at the cost of their hardware but yeah, the B/A buyout was huge (both in market implications and investment) and it's not really borne anything substantial.
Personally, I don't use my console (PS5) a whole lot anymore but there are definitely some MS things that I wouldn't think twice about trying out.

New Helldivers 2 patch balances weapons, fixes armor bugs and adds new planetary environmental hazards. Also the Planet Tien Kwan is currently producing the EXO-45 Exosuits which will be coming soon. Presumably if the planet is ever attacked or taken, Helldivers will lose access to the suits.
