Pretty underwhelming E3 so far, I always hope some crazy new game will come out of nowhere and blow me away, but E3 seems to be losing its former lustre with so much instant access to info these days. Too many multiplayer sequels and cross platform stuff with an obvious leaning toward new console info, but it’s what is driving the industry now. Hopefully Bethesda’s new Doom offering will stun like the last one did, I have given up on a new Elderscrolls that isn’t online at this point, but who knows. I think Nintendo has the potential to drop something cool on us, the rest of it has been throw away so far. Just miss the gems that used to sneak into E3 and blow everyone away!

^I think streaming and the fact that NOBODY CAN KEEP A GODDAMN SECRET ANYMORE BECAUSE "LOOOOOOK AT MEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" has really kind of ruined the practice of being surprised by things at E3
Personally, I find it hard to be really stoked about things when their development has been "leaked" several months before being officially announced. I hate that everything has become so gods damned tabloid and the ones that are there to actual confirm stuff are often anti-social weirdos with shitty communication skills.
I think its come to a point where its easier to get attention for your game to announce it on its own outside of E3 instead of competing with the whole spectacle. All of the publishers are big enough that they can get everyone's attention with their own announcements outside of the event which is why Sony with their small offering before their new console passed on the event. It also seems like E3 as an event doesn't attract the mainstream crowd like it used to. I think once E3 announced they were selling tickets to the general public, without giving enough of a heads up to those showing off games, that E3 is kinda dying and will either become another PAX like event or die off completely in a few years.
edit: Also I know I've missed leaks but how is E3 already underwhelming when only EA, underwhelming for years now, is the only one to make their announcements.

Just scanning for cool news stuff, EA and MS one just ended (gears 5 and a halo video, lego world Forza Horizon 4 dlc), it’s not over, but in years past there has always been that thing you had no clue about that shook up the show. Haven’t seen that Cinderella arriving at the ball moment yet, hopefully there’s one this year!

Yeah I watched the start of Microsoft before I went to work. I just feel like that game hasn't really been announced at e3 for me in a few years or if it was it wasn't until a trailer or somebody talking about it down the road. I'm really probably just jaded when it comes to game announcements anymore. Been let down too many times before. And games are often very similar to each other or sequels anymore
That was pretty cool! Things that make you go “whoa”.
Bethesda in the books, lots of mobile games (zzzz), but Doom Eternal looked crazy, wolfenstein Youngblood looked like more of the same (not a bad thing), but Shiinji Milkami’s new game Ghostwire Tokyo looked interesting, they were really vague with the details, but there could be something good there.

I'm legit pumped, I've been wanting this for years. Especially in light of train simulators and bus simulators and farm simulators, I've been getting lowkey pissed that we haven't had a new Flight Simulator in like 15 years. Looks amazing visually, too. Can't wait to just hop in free roam and explore.

Yeah, that was a surprise actually! Haven’t seen one of those in forever, and it looks gorgeous! That would be a fun one to just come home to and have an Immersive, stress and shit talk from a ten year old free chill session!

Well, it’s the end of the road for Xbox 360/OG Xbox backwards compatibility updates, last ones came out today including all of the splinter cell games. Kinda shitty, I’ve been enjoying playing stuff I missed, at least ninja Gaiden made it, and I always wanted to try SC: Chaos Theory.

Having never played Final Fantasy VII, I was actually kind of looking forward to the remake but I'll be damned if I buy into some "episodic" BS. It's not DLC, it's the damn game itself. It's a shame that it will still be a best seller despite that ridiculousness.
