Think I'm done with AEW. Mox winning the title was kind of a nice closure to "Chapter 1" of the company.
Everything the last couple weeks - Matt Hardy's tired schtick, The Dark Order nonsense, the Archer/Grampaw Jake thing - it's starting to feel like TNA from 10 years ago.
Plus the whole "no audience" thing...I just can't do it.

Just finished watching this week's episode and it felt a lot better, a lot more even-handed. Last week's episode was a little too much ga-ga for my taste and being in the big arena with no audience accentuated the absurd stuff. Being in a smaller studio helps, as well. Has an old-school Memphis vibe to it, which I can get into. :) |
