Soooooo.... I've spent a bunch of time in the last couple of days, reading through some of the past events in this thread and simming some fun matches....makes me pine a little for the good old days :P I can't commit to doing regular shows/promos and stuff like I used to, but would there be interest in seeing a one-off stream of ZIP JAPAN edits? It would be dependent on me being able to figure out how to use Twitch again, and assuming I can find a date/time that isn't stepping on the toes of any of the current regular streamers.... Let me know what you think...I'm still using vanilla (no time/interest in figuring out the modding) so I won't have any of the fancy camera switching and persistent blood and stuff, just good old fashioned puro. Wouldn't care about "stepping on streamers' toes" because I got accused of that for *years*. It's Twitch. Stream or don't. Fuck 'em if they think otherwise. If I can stream a random one off show every two years, you can too.

King ZIP: "Okay everyone, let's tank and send Denizen down a dark pathway of RNG and ukemi-based paranoia. I heard Geese's edits do it to him all the time and his fragile psyche has been reduced to a lukewarm pudding." ðĪŠ Hi geese! lol it's too funny, this quote was pretty much exactly what I was thinking. I usually have FPW on almost every day - even if I'm just simming in the background. But sometimes I'll miss a day or two and feel like my edits are intentionally sandbagging just to stick it to me ð It was actually a little disheartening to look through the 1000 edits I have downloaded and realize like 2/3 of them are greyed out and I can't use them any more without a whole lot of downloading and tweaking fuckery. Yeah, same here. Like over 1/2 of my edits are greyed out either due to moves or parts. Speaking of, did they ever come up with a way to mass-unsub to stuff from the Workshop? Or do I need to manually find and unsub from everything If I want to clean things up? I have 7000+ subscriptions which are grinding my game to a crashing halt a lot of the time. So I'd also love to have some kind of easier tool to delete edits and moves! I can't commit to doing regular shows/promos and stuff like I used to, but would there be interest in seeing a one-off stream of ZIP JAPAN edits? It would be dependent on me being able to figure out how to use Twitch again, and assuming I can find a date/time that isn't stepping on the toes of any of the current regular streamers.... Would definitely be interested!!! My schedule is kind of CHAOS right now (I live the gimmick in every way ð) but I would try to make it. At the very least, if you put it up on On Demand, I'd definitely catch it. Overall, really glad to see you back and know you are having fun with Fire Pro and your edits again ð

I would be interested as well :) I wasn't around when ZIP was in it's prime, but I still really like your edits (Wataru Nakajima FTW!). Seeing them in streams would be a lot of fun :)

Know that if you want to run a good ol' Friday stream that I'd be more than happy to accommodate! I about jumped off my seat when I saw the ZIP thread updated, great to see you around, Deni!
Also, it should be mentioned that the ZIP folks are still plenty active in our feds, and have won some pretty big matches and even belts over the last year. Justin Starr's still got it! It's actually quite remarkable how well your edits hold up with all the advancements move maker has brought about, simply a testament to quality edit making and design.

Dawn, I always assume you have talons for feet so they probably hurt. I mean Australia fought a war against your kind and lost. Think about that.
Anyway, I'm happy to see ZIP Japan return in any capacity. Glad to see Deni back.

ZIP coming back in any capacity is super exciting news, I also doubt that anyone worth a crap in the community will pitch a fit about any chosen date or time for a show. Can't wait to watch!

Even though I was never really here early enough to see ZIP in its glory, it still hypes me up all the same as if I was there! Glad to see someone like you returning nevertheless.

thanks again all.
*adjusts tights* Shall we begin?
Some historical context for those who weren't there back in the day or simply don't remember:
Back when White Trash joined ZIP JAPAN in 2005, he and Reiko ZIP had a torrid romance that lasted several months. King ZIP didn't like the idea of his daughter spending time with Trash, who was a brash young loudmouth at the time. King ZIP went out of his way to make things miserable for Trash, booking him in several handicap matches, and often making him wrestle bruising heavyweights. This all culminated in a mixed tag match of King ZIP/Suki ZIP vs White Trash/Reiko ZIP. The young couple lost this match, and their romance soured under unknown circumstances a short while later. Reiko and White Trash maintained a casual, friendly but platonic relationship for many years after.
King ZIP passed in 2015, leaving his 3 daughters Tomi, Suki, and Reiko ZIP as the co-owners of the promotion, with Reiko as the head referee and booker.
Then in 2018, Trash and Reiko's romance was rekindled, but since Reiko was basically the boss of ZIP JAPAN, she was concerned their relationship would be perceived as a conflict of interests. So White Trash decided to retire from active competition at WrestleQuest that year, becoming a full time referee and freeing Reiko and Trash to become a couple again. They lived and worked side by side, running the company together for a year or so before ZIP JAPAN went on hiatus. Neither has made any public appearances since.
