I don't think it has to do with playing with a already established wrestler, but making a "legendary" wrestler yourself. It could even be dlc set in the glory days of the NJPW.
I'm a little disssappointed that the dlc is another NJPW thingy, instead of a new different game mode, but hey. thats ok.

It's worth noting that it doesn't have NJPW in front of the title like the other Fighting Road scenarios. So that's interesting.

Very interesting.. I think the fact NJPW isn’t in the title gives hope for a different set of licences
Regardless, nice to see the development continue with what was promised... more moves, more parts and more to do in the game

Title makes it sound like edits related stuff or generic edits made by spike. I would kill for AJP/AJPW, to be included but that's not likely yet. |

I'd be perfectly cool with it not being licensed at all, if it meant getting as many parts and moves as we got for the NJ thing, but across, like, all of wrestling.
I'd love to see more joshi-specific stuff but I don't know if that's a real big deal in Japan these days

None of the Joshi feds these days are really big, Stardom is the biggest though. Not sure their fanbase would buy a game.
Any other fed dlc would most likely be AJPW or DDT or Dragongate. BJW least likely. Strongly doubt Zero 1, or Wrestle 1 owned by Mutoh at all. Can't see Noah on the same game with NJPW with their bad blood with NJPW.
But they would be better of with a defunct promotion like FMW or UWFI for nostalgia bucks. They still get talked a lot on blogs and sites in Japan.
I guess MMA fed Rizin could do.
