Is regedit still the only way to manually adjust the resolution in Fire Pro World outside the program itself? I had an issue where the resolution somehow got set to 0x0 and poking through the windows registry to fix it was not my idea of a good time. Did they really never put in a config file to write this shit to? Correct, regedit is the only way to do it. If you need to fix it still: Navigate to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\spikechunsoft\FireProWrestlingWorld\ and change the value of Screenmanager Resolution Width_h and Screenmanager Resolution Height_h to whatever your monitor's native resolution is. Make sure you're editing it in Decimal form. Oh yeah no worries I got it fixed. Thank you though. (Mostly just wanted to bitch about this clownshoes programming).

When you say your resolution was 0 X 0, did you have that issue where Fire Pro got automatically minimized and was just a tiny little window without the actual game playing? That has happened to me a lot. It looked like this: I think I've had success by just toggling it using the CNTR+ALT+DEL task manager. Then I quit the game, restart it, and am usually able to go into it to change the resolution manually. That usually works. It kind of sounds like you had a more complicated issue though but I'm glad it's fixed 😎

It was just rendering a 0x0 window that was effectively only a title bar. I tried to use a key shortcut for fullscreen and it didn't work so I ended up using regedit. Real dumb solution (normal users really shouldn't have to touch the registry) but it worked.

That's a really weird situation but I'm glad that you got it fixed. Do you know what brought it on?
I'd be pretty tentative about going into the Registry too. Never guaranteed to come back out 😨💻👻

After some further testing, I think I've isolated the issue: a recent Steam Big Picture Mode update is playing absolute havoc with Fire Pro, causing it to have weird graphical glitches and outright crash on launch at times. If I turn Big Picture Mode off, it runs just fine. This is pretty annoying, since I spend probably half of my Fire Pro time using Steam Link with Big Picture Mode to play on my TV. Currently, to play fire pro, I have to start up my steam link app on the TV, walk back over to my PC, close out of Big Picture Mode, start Fire Pro, then walk back over to my TV and play.
In general, this Steam update seems bad. Steam now uses more memory and consumes more processor cycles, particularly in Big Picture Mode, but also in general.

That does not even remotely surprise me.
Around late summer/early fall the Steam program became incredibly bloated. This was at the exact same time that the UI changed for the log-in/start-up screen. Before that, it used to be a very light program for my computer to load and run. It was Fire Pro itself that had all of the bloat. But now it takes literally 30 seconds for the program to load before I even get to the updated log-in screen. It used to take maybe 3-5 seconds before that UI loaded. It then takes about 20-30 seconds for Steam to connect to the server after I put my info in. Once Steam loads and I have actual access to my account, I have to wait for the next speedbump. 30 seconds later my computer gets completely paralyzed until that dumb inevitable pop-up ad starts and finishes loading enough for me to X out of it. Even worse, that dumb pop-up ad actually takes priority over everything else my computer is doing. Even if the Steam program is minimized and I have another program running, the pop-up ad will cover it until I can X out of it. That is massively intrusive. After that frustrating and time consuming process, I can finally use Steam to actually do stuff 🤷♂️
I just close the Steam program completely once I'm done loading Fire Pro. The program is bloated and it's easy to quickly open it up again after I initially run it. Having it running in the window is unnecessary for me. It's not like I can even subscribe to a Workshop item and have it immediately show up in the game once the game is running anyway.
It's like Steam looked at the DRM-infested bloated competitors that it beat and decided to emulate them 🤦♂️
