Okay, dumb, super n00b question time:
1. Are new, playable edits included with the fire promoter dlc?
2. The super jr dlc looks tastier than pipin’ hot pizza, but is it?
3. How the HELL can I start adding y’alls edits to NJPW and SWA’s sad ass rosters? I need to start building towards the FPD/FPR (hell, even FPA) glory days!
I am sure 3 has been addressed at various times, so please excuse my ignorance, but a kindly redirection or explanation would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

1. Only in the promoter mode. They don't appear outside.
2. Only for the edit parts and moves.
3. Subscribe to some edits on the workshop, then move them into promotions.

Parts and moves only for the Jr pack, eh? Crap. Okay, I will have to figure out how to "subscribe", I think I got to that point once, and something didn't work quite right with the subscription or something. Cool, thanks again!

The fighting road modes in the DLC packs aren't very interesting. But the edit parts and the new moves are game changing. There hasn't been a lot of 'new' in Fire Pro edit looks in a long time. The workshop to subscribe to edits is available in game or through steam. They get sent to the retired section, and it's your job to transfer them to a promotion. You will have to make some teams. A promotion team, and at least one sub stable team to hold them.

The level of detail in a lot of the new parts is ridiculous (for better or for worse; for example, writing that would otherwise be nice and generic is clearly legible on many parts). Most of the new moves look BANANAS good. The "show me ya moves" thread has a pretty good breakdown.
Haven't tried the "fighting road" or whatever, so I can't speak to it. I really haven't even played one of those modes since I first got FPD, so the relative quality of it is a non-factor to me.

Unfortunately they can't be accessed outside of Fire Promoter mode but the majority of them are MUCH better than the SWA defaults that originally came with the game. I also like them better than Spike's default NJPW edits. You can sim and play them within Fire Promoter. There are a ton of them too...even bears!! 🐼🐻 2. I haven't used any of the new defaults or Fighting Road (the heavyweight version kinda bored me after a while) but I LOVE the new moves and parts. My favorite new move is the grounded dragon screw as it looks really brutal. You can see it here in between the corner dragon screw and the submission. 3. Are you using Steam or PS4? I thought you were using PS4 but I don't 100% remember. For Steam, you just need to subscribe to edits on the Workshop. You can search your friend's lists for edits or do a general search for edits in the Steam Workshop. I have the game for PS4 but haven't used it at all so I'm not familiar with the process. I've heard it's a bit more confusing and less reliable than the Steam process.

Thanks Ares and OG, I will check the moves out for sure, and yeah, that SELLING on the ground dragon screw is deadly! I’m on PS4, and I’d like to think I’m not a total nine iron when it comes to figuring stuff out, but the PS4 edit thing is a bit more ponderous than it needs to be I think. I will give it another go.
Not sure why I’m interested in dlc, I’ve hardly touched the game, I haven’t even finished an edit yet ( started a BakFu edit just to check out the edit maker, but the idea of setting up logic, moves, and all that seems quite daunting at this point. I have ideas for edits, but I just haven’t been able to do it yet!). I love the game, it’s definitely the pinnacle of the series, I need to just bust into it and put in some time!

Thanks Ares and OG, I will check the moves out for sure, and yeah, that SELLING on the ground dragon screw is deadly! It's definitely my new favorite move of the game. There are a ton of other cool NJPW Junior moves too that I'm still learning. The "Rainmaker Through" is my second favorite new move and functions as a set-up. Here's another video: I’m on PS4, and I’d like to think I’m not a total nine iron when it comes to figuring stuff out, but the PS4 edit thing is a bit more ponderous than it needs to be I think. I will give it another go. Yeah, from what I've seen it isn't as simple a process as the Steam Workshop. I used Freem's PC tools to transfer all my FPR edits to the PC version of FPW. Everything is transferred by that process except the colors and I'm still slowly coloring everyone in. The funny thing is that I put Bak Fu into Fire Promoter just to see how his FPR version would do and he regularly gets high ratings. I send him to other feds to mess with them when I'm angry at their wrestlers for putting on bad matches 😁 I'm totally with you on how daunting it is to create new edits. Here's a dirty little secret: I haven't made a completely new edit in Fire Pro since some time in like 2017. Every edit in FPW that I've worked on has either been FPR versions converted to FPW or variant edits (originally made in FPR) that I've created multiple versions of in FPW. I have 3 Geese versions and 5 Tetsu versions along with singles and tag team versions of all my edits in tag teams. But I have not made one single new character in FPW at all or in FPR since before 2017. And I honestly don't see it happening any time soon. Just the process of creating a totally new character from scratch requires a mental energy I oftne don't have by the end of the night when I finally get to play it. Most of the time I'm either simming, editing, or using Fire Promoter.

It's pretty easy to do it on ps4. go to the firepro-w.com/item/listtap filter. type what you want to search for. select who you want. hit subscribe. next time you start fire pro it will downlosd that edit. go into edit mode. team. transfer wrestler. move them from retired into whatever stable you want. The arse part is having to create those promotions and sub sections for stables heels faces etc before all of this that can take a fair bit of time and bore you to death. edits will download automatically if someone you have subscribed to updates that edit and uploads it over the original one. so if there is a particular attire you desperately like on an edit and if it went away youd be gutted... make a copy of it just incase.

May I ask, how are MaikeruRX-78's edits logic wise? Are they good quality or do they seem off?

I always wonder if people actually take the time to look at other edits beyond the same two creators on PS4

I have a query about online on PS4, trying to connect to a match with a friend either by creating a room or he creates a room. Either way when we search for the rooms nothing comes back.
I am in England and he is in Canada but I haven't read anywhere that the game is region specific, any ideas?

Ok, quick gripe. Does anyone find the belly/stomach/mid-section for the body builder type edit useless? Why is it so narrow? I can widen it but then the edit's butt widens and I don't want this. I can use it and I get it but it always seems 'off' to me. I can't be the only one, can I? :)

Oh no, you're not alone in this. I think it's been like this since Returns (or even before that). It's always looked off and it's super annoying. :)

Thanks. It might be a popular gripe but I'd never heard anyone mention it. Do you ever use this edit part or just avoid it altogether?
