Introducing the "Okite Ya belly," brought to you by "Pot Belly" Ferguson. I mark out each time I see the Okite Yaburi but it's extra special when it causes a CRITICAL!

His own Critical ability of finisher because the opponent had it set as a finisher or did he have the power critical type? Or was that move even marked as a finisher on the opponent? This seems wild to me.

Ralph's Finisher is one of the Belly to Belly suplexes from Front Grapple in the []+X slot set to "Finisher Only" CRITICAL! type. The "Last Ride" move that Ralph stole is RYOMA's Special from his []+X slot. RYOMA's actual Finisher is one of the lariats from the Running position. So the reason the move caused the CRITICAL! was that it was using the same move slot as Ralph's Finisher which can CRITICAL! Yeah, that does seem pretty wild now that I type that all out

Geese Walker has been wrestling Barton Miller ("The Marauder") in story lines for 20 years and in reality for 10. But I can't remember getting a match with more oneupsmanship attempts than this one. My favorite spots: (wish I would have capped the whole thing!) The second clip picks up immediately after the first one leaves off: Barton kicks out of the Moonsault and steals Geese's []+X Powerbomb (via Okite) which is his main Special. Then this happened later in the match: This is the finish. Barton's running powerbomb is his Finisher. The first big move that came out in the match was Geese's cross-armed german suplex which is meant to be a "fake out" (same set-up with alternate finish) with the Rainmaker so it's awesome Geese won via Rainmaker.

Ran a few edit-testing type sims, and got some fun moments out of Tyrannosaurus Plex vs. Felony Tax Evasion McGee:
First, T-Plex hits a chickenwing suplex that usually CRITICALs the living hell out of people, and McGee just pops right up and hits his own finisher.
Later, McGee tries no-selling the Extinction Level Event, and T-Plex just goes full Gary Albright on his ass.
Sadly, both of these matches ended kind of boringly, so I still have much work to do. (Also, I just realized I never gave the Endless German Suplex to my suplex machine edit)

Been working on a fed since I got this game a month or so ago (long time FPR player), had a sim I wished I had recorded.
Finals of my Junior title tournament that saw Pscicosis vs Dean Malenko, a 39 second classic of three spots. Tie up to Malenko whip, Pscicosis grabs the ropes. Tie up to Malenko whip, Pscicosis grabs the ropes again. Malenko whips him to the corner but he flips off the buckle. Malenko says fuck it, dragon screw critical followed by a heel hook for the tap. It was a long 32 man tournament and Dean wanted to go home lol.

I thought this was amusing.
This is one of the coolest things I've seen in Fire Pro. As soon as Yuugai is the legal man he runs screaming across the ring to hit a rebound moonsault.
The EDF Soldier gets his revenge in the end, though.

From more random sims/edit tests, Captain STRUGGLE has Tupac Machine right where he wants him, up until the point when he doesn't. Also, a rare glimpse of the vertical suplex to DDT reversal, which is one of my favorite things that never happens

That's a REALLY good question!! My guess is that the Okite only allows you to CRITICAL! with someone else's move if: 1) Your []+X move is able to CRITICAL! at all 2) Your []+X move is able to CRITICAL! with your edit. (so if it's a "Finisher Only" move, your edit has to have that skill) 3) Your opponent's []+X move is able to CRITICAL! at all. I'd be surprised if someone could Okite CRITICAL! with a move that can't CRITICAL! at all. But I'd also be surprised if someone could CRITICAL! with someone else's move when the move in their own move slot isn't set to CRITICAL! for their own edits. Here's another question - Imagine if Edit A has a Piledriver in []+X and that move could only CRITICAL! if it was a finisher but Edit A has it as a Special. Could that CRITICAL! status actually occur if Edit A does a Okite to Edit B when Edit B has a move that can CRITICAL! and actually does for that edit? So we wouldn't see a CRITICAL! for Edit A doing their own []+X move but maybe we could see a CRITICAL! for Edit A using Okite to do Edit B's move cause that move is a finisher that can CRITICAL! for Edit B. Really curious about that!

(gonna try this again - For some reason, it links to the offline stream when I try to post clips)
Sooo... Ran a 4-on-4 elimination tag match, (the whole thing is here - www.twitch.tv/videos/343391897 ) and results-wise, it was kind of an anticlimactic bummer, (spoiler: the good guys won, 4-0) but had some ridiculous crap go down.
First, this wasn't all that crazy, but I loved how suddenly and completely this broke down from a tag team match to a total parking lot brawl.
Then, someone had to suddenly do battle with someone from the Shadow Realm
Then, CARNAGE
My God, the carnage.
Also, even with eight people in there, there wasn't a single tag after about the 16-minute mark of a 44-minute match, which is weird.
