[PC] TYPHOON PRO - Dawnbr3ak3r's Edits

Solid as ever.

It's been nearly two months since I posted anything. I decided to take a break from the game for a while, but I've been moseying around with some edits in the last week or two.



Amani Sakurai is based largely on NJPW IWGP Heavyweight Champion, Kazuchika Okada. That's pretty much it at this point. I had plans to design additional edits based on more of the NJPW roster, but I'm not entirely sure at this point. It could be another fun project to work on. We'll just have to wait and see how that pans out. I had though of a few ideas for a Jay White-inspired character earlier this week.



Kagaya Kashima is being built as the top Babyface for New Dallas Pro Wrestling (an "NJPW"-inspired promotion). Her gimmick is loosely based on the Castlevania series. She's a hybrid of high-flying and submissions. Her Finisher is the Shinji-gatame (Hurricanarana Triangle Hold); Which could be translated as "Pearl Gate", a play on The Undertaker's "Hell's Gate" submission hold.



Amelia Kuzikawa is a Half-Japanese (Father)/Half-English (Mother) professional wrestler. She's a second generation wrestler, with her mother and father both being esteemed competitors in their respected divisions in various promotions. Amelia is a hybrid of Pete Dunne and William Regal for the most part. She's got some other stuff thrown in, but she's yet to reach the testing phase, so things may change.



Albeni Tarir is an esteemed Turkish Grappler that I designed specifically for OsirisRedfire's OASIS promotion. She's inspired by the Turkish wrestlers of yester-year and exhibits much of their mannerisms by using muliple stretches and flash pins. She's also capable of lifting her opponents with ease, often finishing on a Striking Double Underhook Suplex -> Camel Clutch sequence.



Didi Taylor is a bubbly/cute character and relative newcomer to the sport of professional wrestling. She incorporates gymnastics and dance into her move-set. She's a hybrid of a high flyer and comedy wrestler, oftentimes to dance in the ring, much to her opponent's dismay. Her name is a play on "DDT" and her Finisher is the Cutie-T (Essex Destroyer). I created her for Firehawk's 49th Parallel Tournament.

Morgan Stillwater is inspired by (Lady) Morgana from Arthurian legend. I built this edit largely around around the Rebound Enzuigiri Kick C2C move. She has a background in Kickboxing (which I used so the myriad of kicks made sense).

Really cool mat and ring logo for Brighton too! is that a Ferris Wheel in the middle!?  🎡

Apparently I forgot to post the "more complete" version of the ring I came up with before I went to sleep:



I'm not entirely sold on the Ring Logo itself, but I like the concept of there being a ferris wheel in the center.

The image is actually a photo of the Brighton Beach ferris wheel run through an "Oilify" filter to give it an artsy look.

The smaller ferris wheel icons are off-centered on the Ring logo (They're pretty close on the turnbuckles) and the size of the circles themselves aren't equal from the center, so I may end up redoing the whole thing over.

Are these all fictional?

Small update tonight:

Started working on some visual updates this weekend and I'm really happy with how Henare's tights look on Tali Triton. This is how I imagined her attire looking to begin with.



Here's the list of edits that will likely see a release sooner rather than later. There's a handful of them that have just been sitting on my save for a while unreleased for no particular reason.



Most of these are considered "release ready", and I'm putting some finishing touches on them. They're not part of my previously mentioned "British Invasion" project, though I am working on those at the same time.
