Started working on Hazumi Surando:  This is pretty much all I've got for her so far. She'll be one of 64 rookies when she's finished. She's partially inspired by Morrigan Aensland from Darkstalkers/Vampire Savior. I gave her the Rude Awakening as a finisher, so I'll be building around that. She's a heel, so I'll be giving her dirty tactics too. |

Wow, love the color scheme for Hazumi! Definitely see the Morrigan inspiration and maybe see a little Mai inspiration too with the uh...motion 😄 Wow, Midori looks awesome! Even with a clear tribute color theme, you managed to make it look really dynamic and unique! Looking forward to seeing her other appearances too. And that spliced Avalanche Tiger Driver looks great too!! 👏 Definitely grabbing that when it's posted. I've also been trying to save priority slots by making autopin moves and merging taunts with certain moves. Default - 2nd ("Watermelon") - 3rd (Black/Green) - 4th (White/Green)     Every CASSANDRA wrestler has an attire with pink incorporated into it in some way and I thought watermelon was a fun concept for a color scheme. Watermelon slot completely wins the day. Maybe cause it's summer!? 🌞 Seriously though, I really love the way that color scheme looks on her and works with the specific attire. The 3rd attire is really awesome too and looks like she's about to clear out a bar. |

Back on the grind again this week after taking the better part of a month off to deal with stress and general lack of motivation. Shizuka Ibuki is a new rookie (Most of my new edits at this point will be until I finish, or come up with 64 edits). Her name translates to "quiet snow breath", which constitutes a large portion of her character, visuals and move-set. She is the protege of Kaishida Tachibana, Yumori Tanaka's chief rival during their early careers - I've previously made Yumori Tanaka's protege, Tomo Nakanabe. I hadn't originally intended for this edit to pan out this way, but it worked and it made enough sense to me, and I've really come to enjoy this edit with the short time I've had with her. Her finisher is the Shiranui DDT (Playing off of Kaishida Tachibana's finisher, the Shiranui), and signatures include a Wrist Clutch Blizzard Suplex, Figure Four Leg Lock, several Tornado DDT variations, and enough flipperdoos to fill a tank at Seaworld. She also packs a bevy of kicks. A sample of flipperdoos are as follows: Whisper in the Wind -> Springboard Phoenix Splash -- Standing Corkscrew Senton to a grounded opponent, followed by a Standing Moonsault, followed by a Standing Shooting Star Press.    |

You're so great at continually finding unique appearance approaches given how many you have done! And the execution is always top notch. I really love the aesthetics here and how it matched the snow theme! ❄ Are we sure this is the right season for this edit though? 😄 Though I guess if you need a cool down, this is probably perfection right now 🔥) Is that snow or a snow-like flower in her hair? "Quiet snow breath" is a cool translation. I wonder if there's a way to do a poison mist move with snow? and enough flipperdoos to fill a tank at Seaworld. 😁🐬 |

Love the snow breath!! ❄ Can she blow that out as the attacking poison mist too and maybe have a "freeze" effect on the defender? Not so much a "frozen" visual as I don't think the game would allow a "frozen" visual substitution of an edit from "parts craft" to be used during move craft. But from an animation perspective you can have the defender stay in place with a shocked expression on their face after getting hit by the frozen mist 😳 Is that snow or a snow-like flower in her hair? Both? Both. Both is good. The age-old question: a flower shaped from snow, or a snow-covered flower? Only Shizuka knows this in her heart of hearts. We are none the wiser 🚫💡🚫 |

Does the default german suplex have the attacker open their mouth like that? It's a great touch!
New edit looks great too, I like the little touches like the symbols on the tights.

 Started working on a different edit last night while waiting for TJPW to start. She will probably end up being an MMA/bruiser hybrid - A lot of body shots with some wear and tear limb submissions. I've already given her Sakuraba's Giant Swing Heel Hook, so that'll give me something to build from.  The gif is cut weird, but you get the idea. |
