I've heard some good things about KOC II never played it. Not sure how it'd play by today's standards. Also not sure how patient I'd be with going back and forth translating menus on the web. It would play like the greatest, deepest, most fulfilling wrestling game you've ever played. That makes me sad that the PS2 is the last place it went. Maybe I'll look into tracking it down. Edit: Looked for an ISO because I wanted to play it right now. No luck so I'll Ebay it soon.

I ripped the disc onto my PS3, it's probably the greatest thing ever. I really should play it more.

Dumb question, perhaps, ki, would that work on a PS4 as well?

I guess I need to convert it? Sent a message to Kik about how he ripped it to his PS3 and what that entails. I really want to play it after looking into it. Looks pretty awesome. My only complaint about playing FP is when I strike the hit box is horrible. However I sim most of the matches and play a handful of times.

I don't know how decent your computer is, but if it's not a toaster oven with a monitor, you can probably play it on PCSX2.

Looking into buying the game and I guess ripping the ISO. Anyone familiar with All Star Pro Wrestling 3? Somehow I came across it and it also looks pretty decent.

It was, interesting. The default control scheme used the analog sticks entirely. It looked quite good for a 2000 PS2 game but the move selection seemed miniscule, and the gameplay was not really my cup of tea. I haven't come across the sequels but I imagine that they're somewhat similar. Anyway, I had a toaster for a PC until its everything died at once, but it ran KOC2 fine at like 2x native resolution... I used that Phenom II X6 and Radeon HD 5750 or something of the sort until 2016, anything respectable (ie not a $199 laptop at Walmart) should run KOC2 to my knowledge!

Let me tell you something, this radio silence a week before release about pricing for Steam is getting real old real fast. I'm tempted to find a copy of KoC2 first, i might get here before I learn one way or the other. And be cheaper. >. >

I have it (because I also have the disc but it's back home in the States). ASPW3 is a fantastic game. The controls are a little wonky but the presentation and animations are amazing. I was always anticipating an ASPW4 which never came (FU Steve Corino).

I was into the whole modding thing around ten to twelve years ago with the PS2 and, a little later, with the X360, but, I don't really have the patience for that sort of thing these days. I truly don't play games often enough to make it worthwhile, either, aside from FIFA, Fire Pro, digital pinball, and the Telltale games.

I'm holding off on getting the PS4 version until all of the DLC and patches are out for it. I'll just get everything on PC for now.
