So, even after the year of save corruptions for PC players they couldn't resolve the issues? And now console players are being advised to back up their saves too?
If that hasn't been resolved by the 28th, the western reviews are going to bury the game.

So sad. How would you even backup a PS4 save? The cloud? Would that be the only way?
This shit is depressing.

Cloud storage is the most common way saves get corrupted on the PC version, so I'd probably turn the cloud stuff off for Fire Pro.

Doesn't one need a Playstaion Plus subscription in order to enable cloud saves?

Nice,so the short term answer is to spend money on an unrelated service and use the cloud save work around. Saying PS4 players are screwed is an understatement.

You can also backup saves on a USB drive if I remember correctly. I know I've transferred data over that way when I replaced my original PS4. I'm a glutton for punishment so... Reason I replaced my PS4 was because I had massive lag delay with my controllers. VERY long story short, discovered that even when wired in, the controller still runs through wireless connection. A TV between the ps4 and controller can be enough interference to make it not work. Discovered this a month after replacing my PS4. At least I upgraded to the pro, but didn't have to. Last glutton story. Had the original PS2. Disc read error happened right after one of the WWF Smackdown games came out. My buddy and I were ready for a long night of gaming. Went outside to go office space on that son of a bitch. Forgot to take the disc out and had to replace the game and PS2. Sorry for the completely unrelated stuff, been a shit day, had some drinks, shared some stories. Can't wait for NJPW release and Promoter hopefully very soon. Thanks for all you guys do, you made this game 10000% more enjoyable for me, I almost refunded it until I discovered FPWArena. I don't comment much, but I am on the forums multiple times a day to see what you all have been up to.

Almost same exact story. I was one week from mania in one of the smackdown career modes, stopped playing to get some KOC II action in, went back to smackdown, corrupted data.
I hulk smashed the fuck outta that system. Probably the point where the story modes were too much for me to want to play all the way through.

Not sure how it'd play by today's standards. Also not sure how patient I'd be with going back and forth translating menus on the web.

It's not difficult to navigate, and the game play is basically Fire Pro deluxe in 3d. The graphics have aged decently too.
