Was just thinking how cool an apron move would be if you'd elbow the opponent, stunning them, and you follow up by running to the far side and rebounding with your O strike or a clothesline or big boot or spear, something like that.

I THINK that's supposed to be Super Strong Machine.

Tanahashi really does have the same European Uppercut in two separate slots. Between that and the coloring disparities, I'm shocked by how sloppy some of this New Japan content is.
Also, the Kokeshi and Deep Impact are confirmed as brand new moves.

There is no weight limitation in this game correct? You can play a heavyweight against a jr heavyweight. I enjoyed the new gameplay posted.

There is a small bit of weight detection as far as an edit set to be Giant or Power, or the body sizes. Small body having early struggles with lift moves with a large or giant size opponent. But if they weaken them some then they can do their lifts anyway. It won't block the moves 100%. You can see someone like Andre the Giant stand there when someone does a dropkick and he will kind move back a little bit but not fall.

I'm really hoping Spike continues to add more moves for the featured New Japan wrestlers in future updates.
Hiroshi Tanahashi: Jumping Elbow -> Flying Forearm Hiroshi Tanahashi: Michinoku Driver II B -> Twelve Six Hiroshi Tanahashi: Texas Clover Hold -> Elevated Texas Clover Hold Tetsuya Naito: Jumping Elbow -> Seated Flying Forearm Ryusuke Taguchi: Triple Fisherman -> Three Amigos
And so on. Anything would make me happy.

I thought Three Amigos was one of the moves they found in the code? It would suck if it got scrapped.

Also, the Kokeshi and Deep Impact are confirmed as brand new moves. Don't forget unused costume slots. For what it's worth, at least they're keeping edit quality at the same level as SWA so it's all consistent! It would be odd to have decent edits paired with the shitty SWA edits in the Story mode.

There are actually a bunch of good-looking wrestlers, but there are also a handful of bad-looking ones with awful colors. That's my biggest issue. Why is Super Strong Machine wearing gray? He's supposed to wear black. Premade edits wore gray in old Fire Pro games because of how dark everything looked on CRT TVs, but it's 2018. Naito and Machine look like they're from two completely different games. It's sloppy and unprofessional. I really expected better from Spike. (I know I'm being kind of pedantic, but it's just shocking to me that nobody at Spike has an issue with this.)

forget that first part gomen gomen
I think it's easier to forgive the weirdness of his colors when there are not a finite number of edit wrestler slots and you can easily just load him up as a model wrestler to fix all of his costume colors (and give him a Junji Hirata costume... even though he's not Hirata, in spite of what everyone says).
