  YEAR END AWARDS HOSTED BY DOC WYATTIts that time of year again, where we give out awards for the year. For the 2022 awards we have a special guest- none other that two time Wrestler of the Year Doc Wyatt, who will be hosting the awards... plus maybe airing some grievances lingering from the current year (and heading into the new one). As this is the last post of the year, I wanted to give thanks to everyone who reads, follows, and participates in this stupid little efed thats probably 2 years past its expiration date. I can't say I keep doing this because people follow along- but it does add motivation at times when burn out seeps in. See you all in 2023!

News broke earlier today that Dragon Fire Japan, in partnership with Warrior Pro Wrestling, will hold its first show of 2023 THIS SATURDAY FEBURARY 11th at 8am PT. The show, which sources say was delayed due to negotiations with Warrior Pro, will be a big one, with both promotion's titles on the line plus a huge match against both companies owners- as hall of famers Tank McDaniel and Shintaro Ito face off for the first time in over 20 years. THE FULL CARD: Park Hyun-woo vs Roy Carter Dragon Mask II vs Masahiro Suzuki Tanaka & Nomo vs Gears of War Warrior Pro World Heavyweight Championship: Doc Wyatt (c) vs Jimmy Hawkins Shintaro Ito vs Tank McDaniel Dragon Fire Championship: Kenta Aoki (c) vs Red Masterson  Warrior Pro Wrestling also announced it will be coming back to Texas on March 5th for HIGH NOON. For the second straight year the show will take place at the world famous LONGHORN, the original home of Baron Family Wrestling. No matches were announced but it is expected that multiple belts will be defended, plus there are rumors that the Big Gold Buckle may finally be back in contention at the event.

Editors note: Due to a fairly nasty case of Covid this recap is supremely late. But we're all back up and running so we'll be grinding out this backlog of shows...
An exciting show to kick off both Dragon Fire Japan and Warrior Pro Wrestling into 2023 was overshadowed by the drama that is Doc Wyatt and President Evil. The war of words spilled over into an actual war- interrupting a night of highly entertaining matches that saw titles change hands, and rivalries take shape.

As a part of that announcement, Roger Craig got a word with the newly reformed Jackson Hole Outlaws, and one on one interview with President Evil that resulted in a shocking reveal to who will be the final member of Team Evil this weekend.
