We are a little over 24 hours from the biggest show in the history of Warrior Pro Wrestling- Warriorversary II. The card sports some of the most decorated wrestlers alive, plus all Warrior Pro titles are on the line in what should be an exciting card from top to bottom. Due to additional saftey measures being put in place for both the wrestlers and fans, Warriorversary II has a new start time and will kick off TOMORROW at 6pm PT LIVE ON TWITCH. Card Preview: Tank McDaniel & Austin Baron vs The Quinns (Port City Pro)The two hall of famers will kick the night off in a non title match against the PCP Tag team champions. The Quinns have proven over the last year to be one of the top teams in the world, and Tank, never one to back down from a challenge, will look to entertain the first home crowd in over 6 months by shooting for an upset. There have been rumors that both Austin and Tank have been prepping for a run at the Senatorial Office Old Guard title, and a win here could be a good launching pad. John Logan vs Will Craddock (SHTCWA)Two stars from promotions that pegged them as the Ace of the company, only for injuries and tough losses to derail that trajectory. Now both men are out to prove that the best is still ahead of them in what should be a dark horse for MotN. Logan’s last 3 months have been a rollercoster, with big wins over Rampage and Doc Wyatt slotted between losses to Wyatt, Vic Baron, and two upsets at the hands of Jimmy Hawkins. Meanwhile Craddock hasn’t seen a ring in well over a year. Both sides will be fighting to get a win to launch the next chapter of their career. Rampage Hunter vs Big Bird Machine (STRUGGLE)Another cross promotional fantasy booking. BBM is a local legend and a top star for the STRUGGLE brand- a unique combination of size and athetisicm, looking to show a west coast audience what they’ve been missing. Rampage has made his name feuding with outside companies, whether its iWe’s Dirk van Oranje or PCP’s Big Bama Ray, and collecting belts all along the way. Rumor has it Rampage might be sending a message to the Dutch Destroyer with a win, while Big Bird Machine may be looking to make further inroads at future Warrior Pro shows. “Lanky” Lefty McDaniel vs Super Bad Ass Sweet Daddy JonesThe heir apparent to Warrior Pro has slowly jabbed at iWe and one of its founding members for over a year now. It started when he teamed with El Macho to win back Lucha POWER from David Harley and Super Bad Ass Sweet Daddy Jones. Now it seems Lefty wants to prove he can beat SBASDJ one on one. The iWe legend has been out of the ring for years- will the layoff cost him? Or will Super Bad springboard a high profile win into a rumored promotion restart? El Macho (Lucha POWER) vs Felix Santana JrA grudge match that has been building for 9 months. Right or wrong, El Macho’s mask may have been sacrificed the moment Felix Jr decided to interfere in his fathers match. The fallout has been months of back and forth, leading to this match. On the line- a shot at Lucha POWER champion Pantero Negro Jr or, conversely, a shot at the Dominican Gold Championship for a select member of the Lucha POWER roster. The rest of the Santana family has been barred from ringside for this one, so it should be free of any distraction. Can an unmasked El Macho turn back the clock one more time to upset one of the top wrestlers in the world? Or will Felix Santana Jr earn his shot at the Lucha POWER championship? Warrior Pro Tag Team Championship: Grim Reapers (c) vs Bay BallerzTo say the newly crowned champions have made a first impression would be an understatement. In their first match for the promotion they beat reigning champions Gears of War, then leveled The Capitalists in a brutal contest at Golden Touch #7. Now they face their first title defense against the brash young Bay Ballerz, a team that has been on a role since Super Bad Ass Sweet Daddy Jones agreed to start managing them. A win for the Reapers would cement an already growing sentiment that they are one of the best tag teams in the world. A win for the Ballerz would transition them rising stars to legit champions. Warrior Pro Intercontinental Championship: Red Masterson (c) vs Doc WyattA Jackson Hole Outlaw civil war as Red Masterson takes on leader Doc Wyatt for the IC championship. There has been a budding rivalry for months, with both men seeming confident they will prove who the true alpha of the group really is. The real question, regardless who walks out with the belt, is what the future holds for one of the most powerful groups in pro wrestling. Warrior Pro World Heavyweight Championship: “The Technician” Vic Baron (c) vs Machine Gun MayhemThe main event! Machine Gun earned this title shot by winning the G2 tournament, going through both Red Masterson and Doc Wyatt to do it and after slumping badly earlier this year, now looks to be in top form. This will be the ultimate contrast in styles as Vic attempts to win with technique and strategy while MGM will look to blow through the champ with brute force. And waiting in the wings will be Rampage Hunter, who will be next in line regardless of the winner….

Whether or not it was the best show in Warrior Pro history is probably debatable, but it was definitely the most fun show I've ever streamed. Deepest thanks to everyone that showed up, contributed, or just follows along. Here's hoping I'm still chugging along for Warriorversary 3. Full recap and post show promos will be up tomorrowish, but in the meantime you can check out the full show here:

The biggest show of the year met most expectations in spades, with every match showcasing not only the talent Warrior Pro has been curating, but also the stacked wrestling that is being produced all over the country. Scroll down for full matches, recaps and a few post show interviews... Tank McDaniel & Austin Baron vs The Quinns (Port City Pro)Recap: The PCP Tag Champs looked every bit the part early on, controlling the match and dictating the pace. But legends are legends for a reason, and the Warrior Pro Hall of Famers cut the ring off and hit a Tank Driver and stunner back to back to claim the upset in an entertaining opener.
Winner: Tank McDaniel and Austin Baron Rating: **** John Logan vs Will Craddock (SHTCWA)Recap: In a night of great matches, this one may have been the best. In a potential Match of the Year, Logan and Craddock went right at each other from the opening bell, not holding anything back. If the story of the match going in was if either man was washed up, both easily proved that they were still at the top of their game. As they traded near falls back and forth it would eventually be a brutal ganso bomb that would lay out John Logan and give Will Craddock the victory.
Winner: Will Craddock Rating: ***** Rampage Hunter vs Big Bird Machine (STRUGGLE)Recap: Maybe it was the busy schedule. Maybe it was a case of looking past the match at his promised title shot. Maybe it was a lack of focus as he openly trolled an old iWe rival. Or maybe the legend in the Big Bird suite is just better, but Rampage did not seem to ever get on his usual roll. The size difference proved to be a “struggle” for Rampage and a few telegraphed spears left him vulnerable for counter attacks- which is exactly what the STRUGGLE vet did, eventually finishing Rampage off with a Big Bird Splash.
Winner: Big Bird Machine Rating: *** “Lanky” Lefty McDaniel vs Super Bad Ass Sweet Daddy JonesRecap: Fast paced, this was a bit of a coming out party for SBASDJ- his first singles match in years and a chance to introduce himself to a new audience. He seemed a step faster than Lefty for almost the entire match, until Lefty was able to hit him with a jumping DDT-which Super Bad never seemed to fully recover from. A Super Kick in the middle of the ring would be the nail in the coffin to give the Warrior Pro President the win.
Winner: Lefty McDaniel Rating: **** El Macho (Lucha POWER) vs Felix Santana Jr (SFW)Recap: Similar to the match El Macho had with Felix Sr, this match had all the makings of an all time classic. And just like the Felix Sr match, an interference leaves the ending with a bad taste in your mouth. After a gutsy back and forth from both men, Felix seemed to be moving in for the kill until, of all people, Dungeon Dominguez, ran down to the ring and hit a massive moonsault on Felix Jr. Felix tried to mount a comeback but the damage was done and a flash rollup from El Macho finished it up and gave the Lucha POWER owner the revenge he’s been seeking for months.
Winner: El Macho Rating: ***** Warrior Pro Tag Team Championship: Grim Reapers (c) vs Bay BallerzRecap: The Bay Ballerz came into this match wanting to make a name for themselves, and they very likely did just that. They took the Reapers to the limit before a very timely rollup from Billie Cannon allowed for the champs to squeak by and earn their first title defense.
Winner: Grim Reapers Rating: **** Warrior Pro Intercontinental Championship: Red Masterson (c) vs Doc WyattRecap: A physical back and forth from the two alpha’s of the Jackson Hole Outlaws. Red used his size advantage early, and punished Doc with big lariats and bombs. But there is a reason Doc Wyatt is perhaps the top heel in the business, and the Gentleman took the punishment as he always does- waiting for his moment to strike. Twice he hit Superman punches in rebutal- a move that has put out a number of top stars- and Red shook them off. But what he, and countless others, couldnt shake was a Black Gold in the middle of the ring- earning Doc his first Intercontinental Championship.
Winner: Doc Wyatt Rating: **** Warrior Pro World Heavyweight Championship: “The Technician” Vic Baron (c) vs Machine Gun MayhemRecap: After a loaded show, the main event did not disappoint. Vic Baron played the part of champion early, dictating pace and controlling the action. And when Machine Gun flipped the script and started throwing bombs, Vic seemed ready, keeping his bearings and countering for his own offense. Unfortunately though, the champ ended up cut off in the corner and Machine Gun landed a massive powerbomb from the top rope, knocking Baron clean out and earning the monster his first world title of his career.
Winner: Machine Gun Mayhem Rating: **** After the show, a couple of wrestlers came to the podium for comments… John Logan Doc Wyatt Machine Gun Mayhem

Lance Marshall "Consider it a challenge, Doc... you can talk all the shit ya' want, all damn day. But I'm absolutely willin' to walk onto your turf, and repeat the very same thing I did almost a year ago. You put it all on the line... you got your chance to erase that one stumble, knock down the guy that beat ya'. I'm comin' your way, Doc... ain't no 'maybe' about it. So I'm gonna tell ya' loud and clear, right up front... you keep a close eye on all that's comin' up. You do your homework. Cause if ya' show up the same way ya' did around New Year's... You ain't gonna have anything to celebrate."

Fantastic show, man. Seriously. Show of the year, to me, in terms of in-ring quality. One of my faves in a long while. And it was super fun to see such a lively chat. The production was top notch, too. Arena looked fantastic, crowd with its custom animations was top-notch. Trons were great. Everyone having their own merch was great. You do an amazing job of making Warrior Pro believably feel like a real-ass promotion. Very lived in, and thought out so well. All the work you put in to take it to the next level, to make it not just a bunch of random sims—to make stuff have weight, is fantastic. From the production and presentation standpoint as well as the storytelling/promos, and the world-building, so to speak. It's all great stuff. Warrior Pro is on another level in this small little e-fed scene we've got going on.

Lucha POWER Presents: A Prologue…
In the dark, El Macho sat in his office deep in thought. It had been months since he been in the room, and a rather thick layer of dust sat on everything in the room. On his desk was a stack of bills, a bottle of tequilla, and his lucha mask. Macho grabbed the mask and put it in a drawer, slamming it shut before pouring himself a drink. It had been roughly six months since the owner of Lucha POWER had lost the right to wrestle in that mask, but the wounds of defeat were very much still raw. “Hefe?” Macho looked up to see Doctor Dorado standing in the doorway. “Si, si.” Macho waived in his friend and motioned for him to sit. “Que pasa amigo?” Nervously, Dorado entered and took a seat, as Macho’s mind seemed to wander back to his daydream. “You’re back already? I figured to might be out celebrating the win. A few of the boys got together to watch, that was something- kicking that Santana back to the curb like that eh?” El Macho didnt seem to hear the comment. “We’re starting up again Dorado. I am still unclear if we will be allowed to have fans, but if we do not start running shows there won’t be a promotion to come back to.” “That’s good news no? The boy’s will be excited. To be honest we’re all getting stir crazy. I heard Pantero and Lobo have been challenging pendejos off the street to tag matches. Lobo almost got arrested for tossin one guy through a table.” “There will have to be some sacrifices.” El Macho responded, seemingly more to himself than to anything Dorado had said. “There are always sacrifices.” “Sure. I mean, of course- times being what they are. But maybe we hit up those Warrior Pro folks? They seem to be working out well up in the states no? Wasnt that the plan, use them to make sure we got dinero?” “Plans change.” Yes, of course that was the plan- but El Macho’s pride got the best of him and he ran Lefty McDaniel out of town almost immediately. The idea was to keep a direct line into Machos long time friend and Warrior Pro owner Tank McDaniel. The move backfired last week when it was announced that Tank was putting his nephew in charge of the day to day operations of the company, and thus access to any potential financial s. That development forced Macho to look at other… less ideal avenues. “Listen amigo, start calling up everyone. We’re having a company meeting next week.” El Macho stood, signaling the end of the conversation. “Sure, sure- no problem. Good to see you, congrats again.” “Gracias.” As Doctor Dorado moved to the door, he was met by the lumbering presence of Dungeon Dominguez. Dorado turned back to his friend quizzically. “Its fine, Dungeon is in fact why I’m here.” Caustiously, one eye never leaving the big lucha, Dorado exited the room. It wasn’t until the sound of the gym doors closing confirmed their privacy did either man move. “Por favor, sientate.” Dungeon instead leaned against the wall, eyes fixed straight at El Macho, and folded his arms. “Manners have never been Dungeon’s strong suit, though I imagine you are fully aware of that. I, however, have had a long trip and will gladly take you up on that offer.” The response startled El Macho as it appeared to come from nowhere, before a lump formed in the back of the Lucha POWER owner and he looked down. There, standing next to the offered chair, was none other than Paco Pequeno- former right hand to mob boss Adalberto Bonilla and the man who once fired El Macho from his own promotion. With a little hop, Paco took a seat and crossed his legs. “Please mi amigo, sit- lets discuss business.” “There is not much to discuss. Our agreement is fulfilled. You helped me with the match, and I got Dungeon his title shot.”
“Now, El Macho. You know I would not come here to talk about a title match that does not even involve you and this dilapidated place. I can speak to El Experto for that. No, this is about business. So please… sit. COMING SOON... Lucha POWER Presents: SEASON TWO!

So, I've been working on this off and on for a while, but I think its finalized enough to go "live."
Its a "home base" of sorts for all my feds., very much in the vein of what folks like Geese, Zealot and turrible have done. My plan is to use it as a form of"source of truth" for both posting in the future and as well as a historical resource of sorts going forward. I"ll still post here, but this will be more a place for announcements and continued interaction with other feds. So essentially nothing is changing, this post is meaningless....

On Friday, Warrior Pro Wrestling returns with its first show since Warriorversary with Warrior Grounds #20, taped live from Gorilla Hall. Besides an extremely entertaining card, the show promises to also feature promos from the likes of Vic Baron, The Jackson Hole Outlaws and more… Card Preview: Brick Casey vs Markus WinterA first time meeting for these two, as both attempt to raise their profile to get back into the title picture. Markus Winter will look to get his mojo back after taking an undefeated streak into an impressive showing at the G2 tournament, before losing to Rampage Hunter in a bid to get a shot at the World Title. His opponent, Brick Casey, is looking to build off his Warrior Grounds #19 win over Roy Carter and make a case that the veteran giant belongs in the World Title conversation. This one should bring fireworks. Reed Brothers vs Bay BallerzAfter coming up short at Warriorversary, the Bay Ballerz are looking to get right back into the chase for the next shot at the tag team belts. In their way are the Reed Brothers, who are hoping a win here will springboard their chances to get a shot at the winner coming out of DESTRUCTION. Warrior Pro Intercontinental Championship Match: Doc Wyatt vs "Flyin" Jimmy HawkinsA rematch from arguably one of the best matches in the G2 tournament. Jimmy Hawkins is riding back to back wins over John Logan, and the hope is he can accomplish what he came so close to doing almost 3 months ago- beat Doc Wyatt. Doc meanwhile will look to do something that hasn’t been done in almost 8 months- successfully defend the Intercontinental Championship. Looming all over this is Lance Marshall, the Phoenix Rising star that has a date with Doc win or lose at DESTRUCTION. The real question may be, is Doc looking past this match- and if he is, can Jimmy Hawkins take advantage and win himself championship gold? Tune in to this space THIS FRIDAY to see all the matches, recaps, promos and angles of WARRIOR GROUNDS #20!

Lance Marshall "Ya' really don't do anything halfway. Makin' history every time you step out into that ring, is that how it goes? I ain't gonna ever deny the talent you got, or how dangerous ya' really are out there. I'd be a damn fool not to realize any of that. But ya' run your mouth as well as anyone, too, and considerin' the people I know 'round at home... that's sayin' a damn fair bit.
There's a good bit of difference between you and most loudmouth jackasses out there: ya' usually back things up. But even the biggest and baddest ain't gonna come away on top every single time.
See, it sounds like I've been givin' Doc Wyatt nothin' but praise this whole time, but it's about time I put the whole thing into perspective. As tough as he is... as good as he is... history paints a picture here. Doc Wyatt, I'm thinkin' you don't have what it takes to stand up against me. When it comes right down to it, you ain't gonna win this. And wouldn't you know it... you got no idea how damn nice it'd be, walkin' into a debut show back home... with some brand-new gold to show for it.
Y'all keep an eye on this match comin' up. And once the dust settles... you keep watchin'. Because there's somethin' big on the horizon."
