You know I like everyone is disappointed about the delay. But I'm not crying or complaining about it. I'm happy just to have a new version of Fire Pro. Over the last year I have had a lot of fun playing the game & building it up basically having unlimited fun. And I never even used a mod. Just be happy and thankful there's a game at all.

You really should look into mods. There are some basic QoL mods that allow creators like you, with hundreds of edits, to easily search for an edit at anytime instead of being forced to navigate multiple screens and scroll through the entire edit list. Also, opening up the length of text box input which allows you to enter full names and still publish to the workshop without issues.
Modded vs vanilla is like night and day, and that's just on the QoL improvement side.
Regarding crashes, I haven't encountered a crash in months. Not sure what's going on with everyone else, but it's definitely not affecting every player.
The only time I can recall crashing the game is when I was messing with a mod that let me spawn explosions at will. Spawning too many explosions just killed the game, no crash dialogs or anything. Even when I was playing the game on a less-than-capable system, I didn't experience crashes.
