10,000 should be plenty unless you're downloading things willy-nilly.
Outside of other creators' edits, the bulk of my downloads are custom moves with a small amount of items from Parts Craft.

Really wish there was a setting in the un-modded game for the next participant in battle royals to come to the ring after an elimination.

I currently have 8,136 subscriptions and am not living my best restraint life 😥 Whenever I can, I try to delete moves that I know that I don't use and I am better at not subscribing in the first place. But I still have just move bloat so bad that my game will crash if I'm not careful. I know the majority of my subscriptions are moves but I also have a ton of edits I never use that I could probably easily part with.

You all laughed and mocked me when I talked about having over 7000 items and it causing the Mod Pack to take 45 minutes to load!
Anyways, this week I learned the hard way that a championship cannot change hands in an over-the-top battle royal if the final elimination is in fact an over-the-top throw. That seems counter-intuitive to the whole point of having an Over-The-Top Battle Royal AND being able to assign a championship to be defended in that match.

Hi all,
I've definitely too many moves/parts (I save my edit themselves vs subbing to them, but I guess that doesn't help when it comes to game crashes). I wanted to confirm how the Unsub from All option in the workshop works. I assume it'll delete EVERYTHING, even if I only select a few tags?

Just so you know, its not going to delete moves/edits from your game- you can only do that inside the game itself.

When I had just short of 9,000 workshop items downloaded, I never had a problem. But this month, I bloated that number up to 12,700. Now all it does is crash. I hope deleting most of it makes the game stable again.

RE: thehat & QueenNemma
There is a way to trim the fat of your workshop items, which would be deleting mcsavedata.dat (located in appdata/locallow/spikechunsoft/fireprowrestlingworld).
Next time you'll boot up Fire Pro, it will re-add most of your subscribed items.

You mean mcgsavedata.dat Deleting mcwsavedata will delete your movecraft work files if you have any

So just to update, I slowly deleted enough moves to stop it from crashing so that I could then delete parts. It's running fine now, so crisis over. I do wish they would've put a cap on downloads if that was going to result in such scenarios. It's hard not to be greedy!

I started running into problems around 7500 items. Parts definitely take up more memory than moves. I have literally thousands of moves and maybe 100 to 200 parts, maximum. I had maybe five parts installed at one point and seldom got crashes. Too bad the game isn't a 64-bit executable, because that would have made a world (heh) of difference.

I have the Day One edition of FPWW on PS4, but I hear PS4 will be shut down in 2024.
I really am not planning on getting a PS5 as I am in my mid-40s and a new console seems frivolous.
I do enjoy my Fire Pro though and I was thinking about getting it on Steam.
Is switching from PS4 to Steam worth it at this stage?

I mean the steam version will probably be around for basically forever. So if you still want to use others creations it's gonna be the only way. New creations are still coming in. I don't see a downside of coming to steam besides having to start over which depends on what you have to start over.

I think I will go that route...then during the summer when I travel back to Canada for vacation, I can just take my laptop.
Thanks for the responses
