Hey. I finally broke down and bought the PS4 version. I have the pc version too which is what I started with. So I’m new as to how the PS4 version works
So while perusing the PS4 version of the Workshop, is there the ability to download “collections” like you can on Steam?

You guys remember that combo system that VPW2 had? It would be great if SC would implement that somehow, like picking a move that if you press up + O, for example, your edit would be able to throw standing strikes in combination, and the opponent could also block or reverse them.
Another thing I want to see is using L2 (I think L2 is not used during gameplay) for assigning stuff (just like you can assign pins to R2), like the back switch if you have a wrestler, or if they make a standing back switch, so we don't have to waste a move space on it. Or if you want to have an MMA edit, the double leg takedown when standing, and assign a takedown when grappling, or the switches when on the guard, pin down, or back mount.

Striking combos where you press Square up to 3 times and the next strike is determined by the opponent dodging or blocking the previous strike. First strike a jab, second strike a middle kick, third strike a high kick. Stuff like that would really up the fighting aspect of FPW.

So I was having an SWA style match, and I saw something I had never seen before. I powerbombed my opponent and the ref came and checked on him and called for the bell. The guy wasn't Criticaled! because my guy has Finisher as his Critical, but was definitely KO'd. This is interesting. I didn't know that was a thing in SWA matches. I have been trying this for a promotion I'm working on.

My two guesses as to what may have happened:
1) Is it possible a CRITICAL! occurred beforehand and this was the first time that wrestler landed on the ground?
2) Did you have a specific amount of knockdowns set for victory? I haven't actually done this before but you can set SWA rules where after enough knockdowns (the ones where the ref actually comes over to check), the match then ends. Perhaps when the knockdown limit is reached, the opponent looks KO'd as a result?

In that match because my edit doesn't have a finisher set yet. 2) That is an interesting theory, and I can't remember if the knockdowns rule was on or off. I will test both cases, because I can't remember there being any referee counts.

Although it's not really necessary for the PC version due to the ease of modding, I'd love to get a venue editor/creator DLC at some point. Instead of giving us venues, give us the components to pick and add to our own venues:
Venue type: dojo, small gym, big gym, small hall, medium hall, big hall, arena, dome, open Walls: dojo, gym, hall, arena, dome, open, dungeon, prison, underground fighting, casino Floor: grass, wood, concrete, parking lot, rug Entrance: curtain, open, decorations Ramps: slope, level with ring Stage: small, big Railings: metal, padded, none Ring: wrestling, boxing Steel cage: regular, hell in a cell, chain link, vertical bars, metal cage Seats: folding, wood, cushioned Crowd: japanese, western, well dressed, caually dressed, mutants, aliens, monsters General stuff: colors, floor type, logos, titantron, time of day (for open venues you could pick if it's day or night)
And I would love to get an update to set up one time events, like we could in VPW2, but with more features like picking the venue, logos to use (good for picking the promotion you want to make the event for, event name), some sort of ring announcer cutscene for wrestler/fighter presentations, referees, etc.
I know this is wishfull thinking, but these would add to an already great game.

I wonder why they haven't made it possible to put a logo on the dodecagon yet.

I wish that in SWA and S-1 type matches you could know out the opponent without a Critical! as it happens in Gruesome Fighting.

Has there been any new news regarding the next dlc? I’m excited for the rumored move creator dlc.

The director did sent a tweet out a few days ago apologising for lack of communication and they would report on upcoming fipro before the end of the year - I did use twitter translate though so no idea if it’s accurately what he meant

I wonder why they haven't made it possible to put a logo on the dodecagon yet. You can do it with the Mod Pack.
