Can I just say I LOOOOVE Fighting Road? So. Much. Fun. And I'm like 2% into it. I am hoping to get out of the tutorial missions soon. Also, I started on Medium and it's WAYYYYYYY too easy, and it looks like you can't change it so I might need to start over. |

Not even in the same ballpark. Fire pro mods are not secure. They alter base game code in a way that gives them total access to anything that a regular developer could do. Sony will NEVER open the door that allows for regular users to run code on their console that isn't proprietary to the game it is running in. Bethesda mods for Skyrim use papyrus, which allows Bethesda to have total control over what modders can access and do. Interesting, and that definitely makes sense. I am glad they are at least opening up for custom audio tracks and the like. Perhaps a mode to edit arenas is the only thing I'd really, really like to see added that is currently only available via mods. Yeah that and entrances lol. But yeah I think spike and Sony probably made some deal |

So what's the real take on the chances of Steam Edits being usable on the PS4 version someday? Is it basically impossible, or is it something that could happen if Spike would just come up with a way of doing it? Or would Sony be totally against allowing something like that? PS4 will almost definitely never have access to the workshop servers. However, both platforms send data as a Json file. This means the data on both servers are compatible with one another. It's a possibility that if I can figure out how to trigger a download from the fpw.net servers on the PC that I would be able to put that edit in the PC version of the game. Going from workshop to PS4 on the other hand couldn't be done without an official import function from Spike... And since Valve isn't big on people raiding the workshop servers for independent download, it would probably require a pc copy of the game as well. |

Hi guys. Just thought I'd drop in and say that I'm back. I've started converting my FPR EDITS into FPWW EDITS, it's a little overwhelming but it's fun too. A lot has changed since I stepped away so if anyone feels like PMing me and telling me what happened to the arena and junk I'd appreciate it. Haha, I was actually using your Ultimate Warrior to try to figure out how to trigger a PS4 server download on the PC last night...didn't get anywhere with it, but it's still early.

I've been playing for about three hours and I'm at like 2.7%, so I'm going to assume it gets more challenging. |
