For those interested, I have noticed that NBA 2K19 is $3.99 CAN (so like $0.23 US 🙂) on both PS4 and XBOX one.

Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition is $2 thanks to the Steam sale.
If anyone here hasn't played that game, play it now. It's $2 of free roam, martial arts euphoria 😎

A fantastic Humble Monthly Bundle this month. Early unlock games include Kingdom Come Deliverance and Surviving Mars, both high on my wishlist. Several additional games to be revealed in a month.

PS summer sale, plants vs zombies 2 deluxe edition is a bank busting $1.64 CAN, and for those on a budget, the vanilla edition is $1.29 CAN. For those of you south of the 49th, I’m pretty sure Sony/EA has to pay YOU to download the game. Enjoy this info, or do not, I have no idea if the game is The drizzling shits or not. 🙂

For the strategy/history fans. Crusader Kings 2 and all the major expansions are on humble bundle for $15. For $1 you can get the base game and 5 expansions. Game is complicated and strange to learn but is fun once you learn and telling stories of what happened in the game is fun too. So if your curious I say at least throw a dollar out there to try.

PS4 Sumer sale is on, and regardless of my backlog, my barely existent expendable income is burning a hole in my pocket thanks to these DEALS! So, am I a total pussy if I pick up Dark Souls 3 without having finished the first two? I love Dark Souls (1) and made it to Anor Londo, but because I got distracted by Far Cry 5 when I got it on sale around Christmas, I haven’t played it since.
So, should I go for it and leave the first game entirely, or just wait till the next sale, nut up, and finish that janky ass 360 backward compatible soul crusher that I have such a love hate relationship with? DS3 is $20 CAN ($0.25 USD approximately?..) and it looks so bad ass! Thanks in advance!

Oddly enough, I already own every Summer Sale game that I REALLY had interest in but I took a flier in Star Wars Battlefront II after hearing a co-worker talk it up a few months back. I'm not much into shooters and like Star Wars but am not crazy about it. Still, for $8 it's no big loss if I ultimately dislike it.
Still enjoying my trip through Detroit: Become Human. Not sure how much it's on sale for but if it's reasonably cheap, I'd recommend it to any PS4 user who likes good characters.

I've only played 1 but I heard 3 makes references to things in 1 & 2 so if that matters to you I say wait otherwise go ahead and play 3.

PSA: the Ducktales remaster by Wayforward is being pulled from digital sale on Friday. It should be listed at a reduced price until then.
It did have a physical release, but it was largely a downloadable offering, and those existing physical copies will get rare, I'm sure. I'm always sad when a downloadable gets delisted, because it basically ceases to exist for anyone who didn't buy it already.
So check it out now if you've had any interest. Like most Wayforward games, the music alone makes it worth the time.

Have the PS3 version and just picked up the Steam version for $3 and backed it up to an external.
EDIT: Ok, so they are not removing it completely, it's just not going to be for sale anymore August 8th. If you already purchased it you will still be able to download it again. I thought for a second they were even removing the option to download it again even if you bought it.

I think only that one Batman Arkham game got pulled altogether from Steam, but the company also refunded anybody who bought it.
Even Age of Empires Online I can still download and that game went offline in 2014 and required internet connection :P

Her Story is on sale for like $2 on Steam. This is one of my favorite games of all time. Don't read reviews, just grab a pen and paper, get the game and play it. You'll thank me 4 hours later.

Celeste and Inside are free on the Epic store. I really, REALLY, didn't want to install yet another launcher, especially since they pretty want to be bigger than Steam but they just give away quality stuff week after week so not long ago I broke down and installed the damn thing. Having the GOG launcher kinda helps since it shows games on all your platforms. Pretty cool.
